CityLux is a boutique studio based in the Boston area. We started out as photographers and have recently expanded our services, offering video, and now wedding planning services. We are a small dedicated team of professionals. Our couples are down to earth types, who appreciate attention to detail, and laid back luxury.

“Allie and the CityLux team really outdid themselves! Everything was seamless and most importantly, FUN! I was hesitant to have a large wedding because of all of the planning that it entails, but hiring CityLux to help was hands down the best vendor choice we made. Our planning timeline was put together, and we’re were told what to focus on and when, which was a huge help with juggling life and work outside of wedding planning. Allie helped pull the vision out of my head and put it all together in a way I didn’t even know was possible to achieve! The actual wedding weekend was executed flawlessly, and we’ve had multiple guests tell us that the flow of the wedding day and entire weekend was so seamless. Some even said they had more fun at our wedding than their own kids! Our guests were wowed by the entire thing. You often hear people say their wedding day flies by, but my husband and I both look back on the weekend and know that we were entirely present and able to soak in each and every moment because of Allie and Sarah. I’ll cherish the memories forever!”

“I'm obsessed with Charlene! She was a dream to work with. She brought such professionalism to our hectic event. We were planning a wedding at a personal property, meaning we had to supply every single vendor and she handled everything amazingly. She wrangled the vendors prior to the day of and she helped me keep my cool during the stress of the morning. You can tell she's a pro at this! There were times I felt a little underwater in terms of managing an event I had no experience with, and her demeanor was so calming and she handled any last minute things. She also helped with some post-wedding issues even though she could have wiped her hands and been done with the event day of. I've already told multiple people in her area to book her immediately.”

“THANK YOU DANIELLE! We could not have pulled off the most perfect day without her. I have been recommending her to all of my friends in the wedding planning stage because she so beyond worth it. Me and my husband think so highly of Danielle because she made planning easy, relaxing, and fun, which is not the experience many of my friends have had. Most importantly, she made sure the wedding ran so smoothly that my husband and I could be fully in the moment and enjoy every second of our wedding. We did not have to lift a finger! For the type A people debating if they could relinquish planning to someone else...let this be your sign that you can and should! I typically plan everything (trips into PowerPoints with rain plans, alternate forms of transportation, etc) so I was worried having a planner would be hard for me. I could not have been more wrong. Danielle does so much work behind the scenes and is so proactive that I knew I could fully relax. I am so grateful we hired her. I had complete confidence she had every detail and its plan b planned. She is a great communicator and you can tell she loves what she does. All the vendors at my wedding (photographer, makeup artists, venue coordinator, etc) had commented about how Danielle was so on top of everything, communicated well & early, went above and beyond compared to any other planner they had ever worked with. So this review is both from very happy customers and very happy wedding vendors. Danielle was very easy to connect with and kept it real. If she thought something wasn’t a good idea, not worth it, etc she would tell you and that’s how she quickly built trust and made sure we stayed within budget. On the day of the wedding we had two big issues come up (not her fault) and I did not even bat an eye because I knew Danielle was on it. First issue was the hotel had given one of our suites up for getting ready in. In less than an hour, we had keys to both of the suites we had booked. Our shuttle for the wedding also did not show up. Luckily, guests were able to get to the venue. In the background, Danielle was finding alternative options for transportation. At the end of the night the shuttle showed up and she ensured they not only brought people back to the hotel and after party, but also back from the after party when the bar closed. After the wedding, we was able to get us a refund after HOURS of calling the shuttle company. Danielle is someone who will go to bat for you, has years of experience, and is so good she even had a Type A bride feel totally relaxed on the wedding day. Thank you for everything!”

“Cliona & the Sea Breeze Events team were incredible. “Without Beckerman Planning, we would not have had the wedding of our dreams. Garbriella worked around the clock before and during our wedding to ensure EVERYTHING was covered and taken care of. Before the Wedding, Garbriella kept us on track; regularly checking in and suggesting next steps to ensure we stayed ahead of everything wedding planning. Her knowledge was essential in discussing quotes with vendors, making major decisions, and keeping us calm as the big date approached. We were extremely impressed with her professionalism when dealing with vendors, and can’t thank her enough for playing hard ball when the moments got tough and we were too stressed to do so. During the wedding weekend, I cannot stress enough the importance of having the Beckerman Planning team on-site. From setup until breakdown, the team was working non-stop to help us have the perfect wedding. The team was there setting up and ensuring that every vendor brought everything that was contracted and everything was in perfect order. Including staying late the night before to ensure a vendor fixed a major mistake with our seating chart. On the day of the event, it felt like magic how everything was just done before we could even think about it. We were able to relax and truly enjoy our day, not having to worry about ANYTHING. Garbriella even taught all the Groomsmen how to put on their boutonnieres!!! The schedule Garbriella put together was a lifesaver, and even better was her ability to ensure everyone was in the right place at the right time. We could seriously go on all day about the amazing things this team did for us, down to every little detail. Garbriella made sure throughout the day that we were not stressing or worrying. She happily jumped in at a moments notice to any and every request we had without hesitation. Going above and beyond is an understatement to the dedication the Beckerman Planning team brings to your event. We were ecstatic to get back to the Airbnb and find that Garbriella had already been there - with all of our leftover pizza waiting for us for a late night snack. The Beckerman Planning team even continued to work after our event to make sure everything was accounted for, we were not overcharged, and checking in on how we felt. “Working with Enchanted Events was hands down one of the best decisions that we made during our wedding planning process. We wanted our wedding to be small and simple, and initially thought we might be able to handle it without help. However, as we continued planning and more and more details came up, we decided that at the very least we needed a day-of coordinator. Enter Jordan and the entire Enchanted Events crew - TRUE ANGELS!! From our first conversation with Jordan, we knew we had the right team on our side. What Enchanted Events offers is really so much more than day-of coordination services. As soon as we booked with them, they were available to help us with any questions that we had. They told us that we could CC them on emails with vendors or give them a call if we needed an opinion. We can’t explain what a relief it was to have experts on our side once we booked with Enchanted! They are so well connected in the industry, so organized, and so kind and calming as well. Kristen and Tori were our day-of coordinators and WE CANNOT GIVE THEM ENOUGH PRAISE! Leading up to the wedding, they asked all the right questions to make sure that the big day flowed seamlessly. The part of the wedding that we were most nervous about was “flipping the room” - essentially turning it from a ceremony space into a full dinner/dance floor/event space in under an hour. A few guests looked at the room and said there was no way it could happen that fast. Kristen and Tori delivered in ways that left every guest stunned… the room flip was flawlessly executed and looked absolutely stunning with their guidance and expertise! This was just one of dozens of examples of their impact - from Tori joining us to take photos off site and ensure that we stayed on track with our timeline, to Kristen keeping us calm and present as we prepared to walk down the aisle. Once the day was over, we kept talking about how absolutely NOTHING went wrong on our wedding day. We can’t believe how perfect the day was, and Enchanted Events had a massive impact in making that happen. We cannot recommend working with them enough!!”

“How can I even put into words how absolutely incredible Kay and her team are?! My wife and I booked a power planning session with Kay in December 2020, shortly after getting engaged. From just that two hour meeting, we learned more about our budget, priorities, and expectations than we had from years of dreaming of our wedding. Kay was so confident and generous in her knowledge, we clicked immediately and as soon as the call ended, we looked and each other and said: "We HAVE to hire her to plan our wedding." As soon we officially booked with Kay, we jumped into regular meetings, endless email advice, vendor recommendations- the works! She also took over all communication and confirmations the month of our wedding which was an absolute lifesaver. Planning our wedding alongside Kay are memories we will cherish always. She is as kind and easy to work alongside as she is professional and precise. Her attention to detail and dedication to our wedding vision remained steadfast throughout the 15 months of planning. She answered every question, solved every problem, and anticipated every need with what seemed like effortless ease. As for the wedding day, her and her team were invaluable assets. My wife and I did not have to worry about a SINGLE detail all day, because we knew KNE had it all covered. She wore about a million hats that day, from designer to therapist to organizer to dress steamer to I'm sure a million other things we weren't privy to because keeping our energy light and happy was her biggest priority. I could go on forever. My biggest message that I hope is taken away from this review is that wedding planners are not only for the "rich and famous" as the media likes to make it seem. Wedding planners, specifically KNE is an unbelievable investment in your time, happiness, mental load, and more. Hiring KNE was the smartest decision we made and at least twice a week we found ourselves saying, "God, what would we do without Kay?!"”

We were constantly in touch with her beginning 3 months out from the big day (and even earlier at times!). “My husband and I hired Madison as our day of coordinator. We did not hire a florist and ended up doing a lot of DIY projects for our wedding decor. We really wanted a professional to help us with setup and take-down of decor on the wedding day, so as not to burden our family/friends and take them away from the event to help. Madison was so friendly in the months leading up to the wedding and offered us lots of helpful advice on things we didn't even think to prepare for, like arranging seating charts and timing of processional songs. Our original venue coordinator ended up having to move away just a couple weeks before our wedding day, and Madison took the lead in syncing with the new venue coordinator on all the things we'd talked about. This really helped us out and took a load off our plate in those last few weeks before the wedding! The day of, she came early to the venue and, like a fairy godmother, had incorporated all of our decorations beautifully before we even arrived, so we were able to take lots of photos beforehand! Throughout the event, she cleverly found ways to repurpose some of our decor items to give them a second life, like setting reception flower arrangements along the room's bookshelves to dress them up for the ceremony, making a beautiful display with our ceremony roses and boutonnieres on our memory table, and using me and my bridesmaids' bouquets to create a beautiful sweetheart table arrangement! We were so incredibly thrilled with how well Madison and her team were able to follow our vision and exceed our expectations. A final sweet memory I have from near the end of the night - my hair was getting very tangled with my dress buttons on my back from dancing, and I was overheating and sweaty. Madison and her team arranged my hair into a beautiful low bun style so I could go back and have fun dancing again without worrying about it tangling further or looking bad. :) I'm so thankful we hired Madison as our day of coordinator, and we can't recommend her enough!!”

“I genuinely do not even know where to begin when it comes to Noelle because there are not enough words to explain how incredible she is. From the VERY beginning of my wedding planning process over a year ago, she handled absolutely everything and more. Any thought, question, idea, concern, crash out, or micromanaging moment I had (and trust me… there were MANY), I could text or call her at literally any time, and she was always there. Not once did she ever make me feel annoying, dramatic, or “too much.” Instead, she made me feel heard, understood, supported, and excited every single step of the way. What makes Noelle so special is that she doesn’t just “plan weddings.” She genuinely takes your vision and transforms it into something bigger and more beautiful than you could have even imagined for yourself. The ideas I had in my head for my wedding somehow came to life TIMES TEN. Every tiny detail was perfected. She thought of things before I even had to ask. She guided me through every decision while still making me feel like the wedding truly reflected me and my husband. And the professionalism? Insane. The organization? Insane. The patience? Saint level. She worked with my budget and constantly gave me options to still achieve the luxury, elegant look I wanted without making me feel pressured to spend beyond my means. She found almost all of my vendors, and every single one of them was phenomenal. The amount of compliments I still receive from guests weeks and months later about how beautiful, organized, and seamless my wedding was honestly speaks for itself. But what REALLY blew me away was wedding day itself. When I tell you I did not have a single worry in the world, I mean it. Noelle and her team handled EVERYTHING. She was genuinely a rockstar from beginning to end. At one point she literally did my late night McDonald’s run herself while her assistants stayed behind making sure me, my bridal party, and my family had everything we needed. Who does that?! That level of care is so rare. She treated my wedding like it was just as important to her as it was to me. Not only did she become my wedding planner, but over this past year she truly became someone so special to me and my family. My family and friends could not stop complimenting her professionalism, kindness, work ethic, and calming presence. I literally had my mom’s friends texting me asking for her information because they were so blown away by her. Noelle made wedding planning FUN. She made it exciting instead of stressful. Honestly, she makes me want to plan another wedding tomorrow just to work with her again. I’m truly going to miss our hours-long meetings spent perfecting every little detail because it all paid off in the most unbelievable way. I can confidently say my wedding would NOT have been what it was without her. “Cassie is UNREAL. My husband and I hired Cassie for partial planning over a year before our wedding in September 2026. I am a very stressed, Type A type of person, but when I saw the tasks for a wedding, I knew I needed someone to help me through planning. She meets with you monthly leading up to the wedding (more if needed) and gives an outline of tasks needed to be done by certain dates. She has an amazing list of vendors within a range of budgets - from dance lessons to cakes to florals (even helped us find a honeymoon travel company thanks to a previous client!). She was in contact with all of our vendors, which took so much stress off my shoulders, especially since I have a stressful job. When a bakery told us they could accommodate an allergy, and then went back on their promises, Cassie reached out to her vendors she knew and trusted until we found a solution. Her reassurance and calmness during stressful meetings made the wedding planning experience much more manageable and fun. She came with me to the final meeting at Glen Magna Farms about a month prior to the wedding and had copies of the table arrangements and set up of our day. She made sure all of the vendor forms were filled out on time and delivered them to the venue. Fast forward to the wedding day - it was going to rain and it was an outdoor ceremony. Cassie did everything in her power to try to come up with a way to have the ceremony outdoors (not under a tent) in case it rained. Thankfully, the rain held out and we had a perfect day, but Cassie was willing to do anything to help us achieve our dream. She handled everything the day of the wedding, and helped pack up my car afterwards. I'll also add - when there was a stain on my dress prior to the ceremony, Cassie was LITERALLY on her hands and knees trying to get it out (which she did, by the way). If there is one vendor you decide to splurge on, please let it be the planner, more specifically Ros&Co. You will be thanking yourself that you did, during the entire wedding planning process.”

“Working with Valerie was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. I originally thought I would be fine with just a day-of coordinator, but trying to balance wedding planning with an already busy life eventually became overwhelming. In such a short amount of time, Valerie took my hot mess of ideas, Pinterest boards, and all the little details I had imagined and turned them into the wedding I had dreamed of. She truly understood the assignment and came through on everything. She listened to me, understood my vision, and somehow always seemed to be on the same wavelength. One of the things I appreciated most was how reliable she was. I never had to wonder whether something would get done or whether she would follow through. I trusted that if Valerie said she had it, she had it. That kind of peace of mind was invaluable during such a busy and emotional season.
