I grew up playing in the woods, collecting natural materials and gardening with my father from the time I could walk. I was always a gardener first. Everywhere I lived I've left a perennial garden behind. In college, I was taking a walk in the fall to unwind from exams collecting pods, dried flowers and grass as I went.
