“First and foremost, we are so glad that we hired Jill to help coordinate our wedding. She is a creative and communicative team player who worked seamlessly with our venue and vendors to ensure that our big day turned out fabulous. Even though we booked an inclusive venue that came with a day-of coordinator, I wanted to find a month-of coordinator/planner, because our wedding had quite a few moving parts, and I knew I would be overwhelmed if we didn't hire help. We were so excited when we met Jill; we knew immediately that she was "our people" and felt confident that she would be able to handle keeping all of our external vendors coordinated, our extra-large immediate families updated, as well as helping the venue staff set up our maker-themed wedding supplies and decor on the day of the event. Working with Jill as a wedding planner was easy and stress-free every step of the way. She was prepared to communicate in all the methods that were most comfortable for us (including shared Google sheets, emails, texts, and video chats), and was equipped to troubleshoot the handful of last-minute hiccups we encountered so that we did not need to worry about them. It is also worth noting that our venue's event coordinator reported that Jill was easy to collaborate with, both in terms of communication leading up to our wedding, and making all the magic happen on the date. We are also working with Jill in her role as a travel agent to plan our honeymoon for this coming winter. “I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. McKenna was the one who made sure that we got our disco ball, and it was absolutely perfect! That’s just one example of the many ways McKenna ensured our dream wedding would become a reality. On the day of, McKenna and her team were so efficient and handled everything so that my husband and I could relax and focus on ourselves. We got to our venue and everything was already done and ready to start the day! “Planning a destination wedding in Cairo, Egypt came with its fair share of complexities. We had guests traveling from all over the world and were trying to blend three cultures - Lebanese, Egyptian, and American. In Egypt, most wedding planners focus only on décor and receptions, so I found myself struggling with the schedule and flow of logistics beyond that. There were so many moving parts - the ceremony, the bridal party, the reception - and I didn’t have a planner or a day-of coordinator to help me execute the day smoothly. Alex stepped in and became my anchor. She gathered every detail and built an hour-by-hour plan that carried us through the day, from getting ready to the end of the night. That included the procession of the church ceremony, the musical cues, the reception entrance order, the dj song list order, etc. She helped me create breakout schedules to give to each vendor so they all knew what part of the day mattered for them to take part in. Alex brought so much understanding and cultural awareness to our wedding. I was able to easily communicate my priorities on the special day and even share my wedding pet peeves to avoid. Christina was excellent at brainstorming ideas and suggested plenty of ways to approach a situation. When we worked on building the timeline together, she was very thorough and insightful. I sent her so many timeline revisions (as timing means EVERYTHING and it definitely matters), but Christina took them and made it look seamless. On the wedding day, Christina and her team (thank you Heather and Leanna!) made sure we were happy and stress-free. Our morning started with Heather running the errands of the busy morning and was the go-to person for myself and the wedding entourage. Heather was also able to help us create a floral bouquet we used for our ceremony offering. It turned out so beautiful! She did a terrific job. I was always reminded to take a bite of food and to stay hydrated while we were getting ready. Christina helped us execute the ribbon wand exit after our church ceremony. It turned out to be one of the highlights of the day. Everyone had so much fun doing it. “I can't write enough great things to say about Kelsey and her company Ever After by Keke. My now wife and I were struggling to get things planned for our wedding reception. We began the process with some nice wins but found out very quickly that this would be a much larger task than we imagined. We were referred to Kelsey by a family member and from Day 1 she turned what was a major stressor in our lives to becoming the best asset we had going for us. She was amazing at coordinating every aspect of the process with us, our vendors, and the venue. It wasn't easy. There were a lot of moving parts but at each point Kelsey helped with any and all questions that came her way. Whether it was contacting the vendors, or making sure the venue was ok with certain changes, she made sure to keep us up to date on everything. She was even able to give us both a photobooth and DJ recommendation when the original parties had to back out 2 weeks before our party. With all of this said, she somehow outshined all of the planning and prep processes by being an absolute rockstar on the day of the reception. We had a very tight window to get things set up and decorated. Kelsey and her team did an INCREDIBLE job and made our day more than we had ever imagined. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
