Hello to all looking to Celebrate Life! We hope to get an opportunity to meet you in person, but until then please let us share a little bit about ourselves and our passion for event planning, design and coordination. Mike and Julia love to coordinate special events and weddings for the greater good of every soul, from the bride and groom and hosts, to the guests and staff. After all, this isn't just a wedding day, birthday, anniversary, baby shower, etc.; it is an opportunity for all involved to participate in an honored day.

When planning any event, there are many people involved that would like to assist or may feel obligated to. We pay close attention to the needs of all, so that if someone wants to truly be a part of it, we find the right place without compromising the desires of the hostess or bride. The most rewarding feeling of any special event is to look out among the crowd and feel the love, passion, and happiness and say “this night, this reception/party/event/celebration is why we do what we do."

If you’re reading this because you’re looking for someone to help with your wedding or special event, let me save you some time: hire Julia. Book her. You will not regret it!! Julia became so much more than our wedding coordinator. She was our planner, our sounding board, our source of inspiration, our problem-solver, and the person who could somehow make me feel calm when my brain was going a million miles an hour. Our wedding was especially meaningful because it was also a celebration of my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. Julia knew how important that was to us, and she went above and beyond to make sure my parents felt celebrated, too. She created little moments and surprises for them that we never even asked for. Those are the things I’ll never forget. And that is just Julia. She sees things. She listens. She remembers. She thinks about the things you don’t even know you need to think about. She reached out to vendors, friends, and people involved in our wedding before the big day just to make sure everyone was clear, comfortable, and on the same page. She did so many things that were never asked of her simply because she genuinely cared about making our day everything we dreamed it would be. What makes Julia so special is that she doesn’t just take care of the event - she takes care of you. My wedding was one of the most special days of my life, and having Julia there felt like a gift. It honestly felt like a godsend that we met when we did. She took our vision, but more importantly, she took the things that were in our hearts and somehow turned them into real moments that we could see, feel, and experience. And her care didn’t end when the wedding was over. Her involvement started long before the actual wedding day and continued well beyond it. That says everything about the kind of person she is. Whether you’re planning something intimate with 15–25 people, a huge celebration with 300 guests, or anything in between - and whether you’re working with a budget or have the budget to do absolutely anything -Julia has the experience, the creativity, the calm, and the heart to make it happen. But honestly, I could say all of that and still not fully explain what she meant to us. Julia, thank you for taking such beautiful care of our wedding, our families, and our hearts. An Answered Prayer & the Best Decision We Made!
Julia was seriously an answered prayer for me. I was looking to book a venue with complicated timelines and the first person I found was Julia. That first phone call she immediately knew the brides experiences with wedding planning, wedding anxiety, wedding ANYTHING! We connected so well even on a friendship level and thats what you need during the day of your wedding. During it she met with me and called me at times I was not sure. She was fair and understanding. She helped budget and made everything super transparent. At the day of the wedding, turning to her was like a big sigh of relief. The day went by like a blink of an eye but her team was in there, set up, and out like nothing. Everyone said working with Julia was great as her whole time just does so amazing and is so organized. Everything was beautiful and we had a wonderful wedding. If you plan to book for point vicente interpretive center, Julia and her team is definitely your planner.

Wedding Planner
From the very first time we met with Julia, we knew we had found the perfect person to be our wedding planner. Julia embodies a warm communication style that put us at ease throughout the entire wedding planning process. She answered all of our questions, and her industry knowledge was a great help to us. The quality of Julia’s work is wonderful. She was effortful in every detail, creating a beautiful and seamless event for us. Julia helped us through all the tasks leading up to the wedding, and also assisted in finding great vendors that fit our vision perfectly. Julia’s husband, Mike, was the amazing bartender at our wedding who crafted incredible cocktails for our guests. We are beyond thankful for Serendipitous Events and would highly recommend them for any of your planning needs.

Best Wedding Planner Ever
If you are looking for a full-service wedding planner who can handle any asks you might have, is quick on her feet, and is, most importantly, incredibly kind and empathetic, look no further. We cannot say enough kind words about Julia and her team. Our wedding was multi-part and involved several cultural elements, yet Julia was able to handle all of it with ease and made us feel so taken care of throughout the process. She helped us think of creative solutions to all sorts of problems and advocated for our vision when coordinating details with other vendors. And on the day-of, Julia was nothing short of a lifesaver whenever we encountered obstacles or unexpected hiccups. We’re so lucky to call Julia a friend today, more than a year out from our wedding, and we would recommend her to any of our dearest friends (and have already!).

Serendipitous events is aptly named.
Julia and her husband Mike made a wonderful addition to our wedding because they are great humans. Professional, easy to work with, provide a level of care larger wedding planning houses cannot reach, and they genuinely love, love. Providing the correct insight to my wife and I at every turn, and ensuing us what we want the day to look like is exactly what came about. What I can say with absolute certainty is our wedding would not have been the same without Serendipitous events. From the pre planning meetings where we were advised with honesty, to the actual day where everything came together exactly how we wanted and more. Julia & Mike were right there behind the scenes ensuring their imprint and care for my wife and I was felt by all in attendance. If you have the opportunity to have a chat with them prior to selecting a coordinator I would strongly recommend spending the time getting to know Julia & Mike because they impress in so many ways outside of assisting on a huge day. Thankful in every way we selected Serendipitous events to be a part of our wedding!
