I cannot recommend Lush Event Co. and Rachel enough!! Our wedding day was flawless! We chose her full-scale planning package and it was so worth it! We had just moved to Pittsburgh when we started planning and knew nothing about which vendors to use or even which venue to pick. Rachel made our lives so much easier by setting up tours of venues and finding us something that matched our vision and met our needs. Throughout the entire planning process, she was always available to answer questions and offer guidance. She kept everything organized on a Google Drive that we had access to and she was always available via email or text. Her knowledge of vendors in the Pittsburgh area was so impressive. Every vendor she recommended received a 5-star review. Any problems that came up with vendors leading up to the wedding were addressed so quickly by Rachel that I didn’t even have time to be stressed about it. I hired Cassidy from Dusk to Dawn Events as my wedding coordinator and designer and it was truly the best decision I made for my wedding. Where do I start? From the beginning, Cassidy went above and beyond with everything. When I started off with my wedding planning, all I had was a Pinterest board and the ideas in my head. Cassidy took my ideas and added such amazing expertise to create a final decor design for my wedding that I absolutely loved. Cassidy was extremely attentive, responsive, and caring throughout every step of the process. She had all of the wedding designs easily accessible on her planning website, and walked us through every single detail. We hardly ever had any feedback because she executed our needs and wants so perfectly during planning. Throughout the planning process, Cassidy offered many brilliant suggestions for details or aspects of the wedding design that we didn't know how to answer. Our day-of coordinators, Liz and Blair, were absolute stars. They just got us. As we approached the wedding, Liz and Blair stepped in to manage the scheduling of the countless moving parts of our wedding day. The level of support and preparation during the pre-wedding stages was above and beyond what we ever expected. Our families and friends are still raving about how fantastic they were on the day-of. We also decided to add on content creation with Teri late in the process, and we are SO glad we did. She was amazing—funny, kind, unobtrusive, and everywhere at once without ever feeling like a camera was in our faces. A couple of days after the wedding, we received our raw video dump, and it is worth every single penny. I’ve spent hours reliving the day through all the behind-the-scenes moments she captured with our guests, family, and wedding party. She didn’t miss a thing. We can’t wait to see the short-form content she creates, but honestly, the raw footage alone already exceeded our hopes. We are genuinely obsessed with this team. From our first conversation with Rina from Shining Time about a year ago from today, I am more than happy with my choice. She delicately integrated all my diy items, (Place Card, party favor bags, bar sign, farewell candy), in an aesthetic way into the wedding. Even though the DIY items were not high value items, but my mom and I spent a lot of time working on it. The way she elegantly placed every item, elevating the whole venue look which I didn't know was possible, I really appreciated that. When I'm not being a boss bitch on wedding days, I love to thrift shop, go paddle boarding, watch true crime, get tattoos and travel.

After our initial call with Meghan, my (now) husband and I knew that we needed to hire her for our wedding. She spoke with a lot of confidence and experience, and her energy was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding coordinator. In the planning stages, Meghan responded to emails promptly if we had any questions, and her planning guide and recommended vendor directory were so helpful in keeping us organized throughout the planning process. We booked many of the vendors from that directory, and the day came together so well because of the cohesiveness of all the vendors. The wedding day itself is where Meghan really shined. She got to our venue early and checked in to see how everything was going, and then immediately got to work.The ceremony and reception spaces were set up exactly how we imagined they would be, and set up was so ahead of schedule that we were even able to start the ceremony 15 minutes early because there was a threat of rain in the area. Throughout the reception, Meghan also checked in to make sure everything was going exactly how we wanted. And at the end of the night, she packed up all of our decor and organized the cleanup so we were out of the venue in a flash and off to our after party back at the hotel. I cannot emphasize how much Meghan went above and beyond, not just for my husband and me, but also for our guests, going as far as to get a toothpick from her car for one of our guests. With Meghan running the show, we were able to relax and fully enjoy our wedding day with our friends and family and not worry about a thing, because we knew she had everything under control. Run, don’t walk, to book her for your wedding!

Right away she was calming and tuned in and warm. She felt like someone we would hang out with but then make that person an organizational wizard.As first time wedders, who had never imagined a specific wedding day aesthetic or theme, we would frequently worry this whole thing might not come together. But IT DID under Mari's expert guidance! And not only was it a big success (imo) she also never made us feel dumb or wrong or like bad engaged people for breaking tradition or for asking if we need Welcome signs. Mari was very good about holding us to our deadlines but not hounding us. When we felt like we were months behind she assured us we were in a good place.And then the day of the wedding, Mari and Anjeanette, were like the 1992 US Men's Olympic basketball team! Just two pros moving seamlessly, never missing. If we had a question, they had the answer before we asked. I always wondered how weddings happen without the bride and groom being pulled in every direction. Elle Events is how.

Though I had 15 people in my wedding, due to covid, it still felt like a dream come true getting married that day. She had planned a mini surprise for my best friends to come and see me before I got married which was very special. We hired Michelle as a month-of-coordinator for our wedding and honestly went in to it expecting more of a day-of coordinator to organize the family and friends that were helping with setup for the wedding. However, Michelle quickly became an indispensable part of our wedding planning and actively went above and beyond what we could have imagined. She was so kind, patient, and incredibly on the ball during the whole process. I cannot recommend her enough. When the month started, she immediately took over the email communications with all of our vendors and solved problems before we even knew they existed. She always asked the right questions and made sure to keep us on track in the final stages of planning. During the rehearsal, she was so helpful with our family and friends that had never rehearsed for a wedding before. On the day of, Michelle was incredible. I cannot recommend her enough. She was in charge of the decorations for the entire reception area (pictured) and did a fantastic job. She was always there to make sure we knew what the next step was (from picture time to first dance to last call on the photo booth). I truly did not have to worry about a single thing with Michelle there. She even made sure that my husband and I had a moment to ourselves after the ceremony. I didn't have to ask for it, Michelle just knew that we needed it. Thank you so much, Michelle!!!

Penderview Events truly went above and beyond to make our day PERFECT. As a DIY and meticulous bride, we knew Anna was the one we would entrust with our vision the moment we had our phone consultation; she was so incredibly sweet and enthusiastic about our big day, and I immediately felt a sense of ease that she will be able to handle all the shenanigans and i can pass her the torch with ease. Although she was hired for "day of", she assisted us in any way possible months leading to and made sure we were on top of all the important tasks leading up to the day of (i.e. vendors contact info, finalizing timeline for the morning/day of, etc.). My big day unfortunately started off disastrous (I became car sick), so I was unable to give guidance with the decor during set up. But since one of the tasks Anna asked me weeks prior was for a list with all the decor and how/where I wanted them placed, Penderview legit made my vision come true!!!!!!!! Penderview was so attentive, that they were even able to place some items which I gave no instructions for (i.e. last minute decided that we wanted wedding party to sit during the ceremony, so I made name placement cards for the reserved chairs, and without mentioning it, they were placed on the chairs in processional order). Penderview was able to execute every event and details on the timeline FLAWLESSLY, and I was able to enjoy the event with ease knowing that everything was in such capable hands. We felt and saw how invested Penderview was throughout the day in making it perfect for us, especially the attention to details and handling all the logistics smoothly behind-the-scenes. I also really appreciated Anna’s assertiveness when hiccups would arise (ie, making sure guests wouldnt be walking in while were ready down the aisle/stay out of view, wedding party prioritized drinking and forgot to come back for portraits; flower girls kept running infront of camera during portraits, and so many other headaches i did not want to deal with, etc.) Not only was Anna able to accomplish and execute my vision beyond expectations, but she was also my emotional support and my right-hand lady, making sure I was always hydrated. Anna’s empathetic and kind demeanor made her feel more like a close friend than just a ‘day of coordinator’. Hiring Penderview was the best investment we made. Thank you so much for making our day magical and we will forever be grateful to Penderview!!!

Hands down one of the best decisions I made for my wedding two weeks ago. I worked with Christina from O’Neil Events and she was truly exceptional. My family, friends, my husband, and I are still talking about how resourceful, thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely caring she is. There really aren’t enough words to capture the magic she brought to our day. I booked partial planning about six weeks before the wedding, and to be honest, I was overwhelmed with last-minute guest changes and all the small details. Christina and her assistant stepped in seamlessly and took over in the best way. They coordinated everything, helped set up and pack up all of our items, checked in on my family, kept everything organized, and made sure the entire day flowed effortlessly. The weather was beautiful but incredibly windy, and as I was walking down the aisle, my veil actually flew off. I felt so vulnerable in that moment, and Christina calmly caught it and gently placed it back on me without missing a beat. It was such a small gesture, but it meant everything. Later in the day, she even helped me with my feet when my heels were killing me. I’m honestly a little embarrassed she had to do that, but it just speaks to how kind, quick-thinking, and genuinely caring she is. A true lifesaver. Everyone still can’t stop talking about how amazing the wedding was. Some of my family and friends had previously had bad experiences with wedding planners, but Christina completely changed their perspective. If we could give Vanessa from Little Black Book 10/5 stars, we would. Truly, hiring her was the best decision we made for the whole wedding, and we credit her with our sanity this year. We had to move our wedding date up due to some family dynamics, and she didn't miss a beat making everything happen on a tighter timeline. She kept us moving through decisions at a steady clip and was great at gauging when we were getting overwhelmed versus when we wanted to dive deeper into the details on something. She was also patient when it took us a while to land on certain decisions (like the venue), and never made us feel rushed or pressured. Whenever I got worried, she was quick to set up a call, always calmed me down, and gave me confidence in a solution. One thing that really stood out was how Vanesa engaged both me and my now-husband throughout the process. She paid attention to what was important to each of us and made sure we both felt heard. We also always felt like we could trust her, and she was never trying to upsell us or push us toward pricier options. Her recommendations always felt like they were genuinely in our best interest, which made a huge difference. Vanessa both listens to your vision and is staggeringly competent at implementing it. She has a great network of vendors, many of whom were clearly excited to be working with her again, which tells you a lot. She led the whole vendor team through the weekend without a hitch and we didn't have to lift a finger. No matter what came up that weekend, she somehow kept a completely cool head, which really set the tone for everyone else to just relax and enjoy. Even my friends commented on how impressed they were with Vanessa, and this is a group of type-A DC girls, so compliments on competence are not given lightly. I'd heard horror stories from friends who had bad planner experiences and I honestly feel incredibly lucky that we found someone so exceptional. If we had to give just one piece of post-wedding advice, it would be to allocate some of your budget to a planner and then hire LBB.
