Elle Events designs vibrant, inclusive, and elegant celebrations for modern couples in DC and beyond. Founded in 2019 by Marielys Garcia Daniels, the brand blends expert guidance with a passion for unforgettable, guest-centered experiences. With deep roots in leadership and relationship building, Mari leads with clarity, care, and creativity—bringing purpose, curiosity and style to every event. I am also a native Spanish speaker and lover of culture and bring an appreciation of diversity to everything that I do.

We embody people-first, detail-driven approach to planning. With nearly 20 years of leadership experience, our team blends strategy, creativity, and calm execution to craft events that feel intentional, polished and inclusive. From guest experience to vendor management, we value clarity, care, and cultural fluency—delivering wedding celebrations that are elegant, meaningful, and deeply personal. Description	Full-service wedding planning + design, including wedding day management. We handle project planning, vendor sourcing, timelines, logistics, design, budget, and guest experience. Includes day-of team (lead planner + associates), rehearsal, full setup coordination, and seamless vendor management to deliver a cohesive, beautiful, and memorable celebration.	Our Partial Planning package includes full wedding day management plus expert support starting 6 months out. Includes 3 formal planning meetings and up to 10 hours of consultation—covering vendor recommendations, contract review, design guidance, and more—to ensure a seamless, well-supported wedding experience.	Our Wedding Day Management (aka Day of Coordination) package ensures your day runs flawlessly. We lead your rehearsal, create and manage the timeline, and coordinate all setup and vendors. With a lead planner and support team onsite, we handle every detail—ensuring a seamless flow, high-quality guest experience, and stress-free celebration that takes your vision to the next level of excellence.

Mari is IT. My husband and I met with a handful of coordinators who all seemed qualified and capable, but none that seemed to vibe with our energy UNTIL we met Mari! Right away she was calming and tuned in and warm. She felt like someone we would hang out with but then make that person an organizational wizard.As first time wedders, who had never imagined a specific wedding day aesthetic or theme, we would frequently worry this whole thing might not come together. But IT DID under Mari's expert guidance! And not only was it a big success (imo) she also never made us feel dumb or wrong or like bad engaged people for breaking tradition or for asking if we need Welcome signs. Mari was very good about holding us to our deadlines but not hounding us. When we felt like we were months behind she assured us we were in a good place.And then the day of the wedding, Mari and Anjeanette, were like the 1992 US Men's Olympic basketball team! Just two pros moving seamlessly, never missing. If we had a question, they had the answer before we asked. I always wondered how weddings happen without the bride and groom being pulled in every direction. Elle Events is how.

Mari did an incredible job with our wedding! We hired her for coordination services. She handled vendor communication in the run-up to the event (including confirming plans with each vendor when details were changed), made everything go smoothly and perfectly on the day itself, and even packed up the extra alcohol for us to pick up the next day. She oversaw the set-up and clean-up with our DJ, florist, caterer, etc., and she came to our rehearsal to go over details with our officiant. She made everything worry-free, and we had a really beautiful wedding. I can't say enough about how great she was. Very happy we hired Elle Events, and highly recommend them to others!

Mari and her team were very professional, personable, and responsive. Throughout the whole process I knew Mari was only a text or email away to offer guidance, clarification (wedding vendors can be confusing sometimes), or even just to be a sound board for thoughts and ideas. It was also a really nice feeling to be able to trust her with everything on the day of our wedding so I could be present and enjoy the celebration.
