After contacting numerous DJs, we found that many were slow to respond, lacked transparent pricing, or spent more time trying to upsell us on extras we didn't want than learning about our vision. Jeff was exactly the opposite. Communication was prompt and effortless, his pricing was fair and transparent, and he offered everything we were looking for, including sound systems for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, as well as attending our rehearsal to ensure the ceremony music went smoothly. The true measure of a great wedding vendor, though, is how they handle the unexpected. During our reception, a miscommunication left our wedding coordinator absent for much of the evening. “DJ Neal was an amazing choice for our recent wedding at the Rust Manor House in Leesburg, VA. From the beginning of the wedding process, DJ Neal was friendly, communicative, and thoughtful. He took into consideration some of our favorite artists and curated a wonderful playlist for our wedding day (i.e., ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). We had quite a unique request being “early 2000s nostalgia” for the reception and he delivered! During couples portraits before the ceremony, I remember telling people how much I enjoyed the music he was playing. Additionally, during our reception in the outdoor tent, everyone was out of their seat and on the dance floor. As someone who considers themselves a homebody, he really brought me and my (now) husband out of our shells and created such a fun energy. “We had an amazing experience with DJ Brian for our wedding! He was fantastic both as our DJ and MC and we felt like everything was handled so seamlessly throughout the day. For our ceremony, he coordinated directly with our coordinator to make sure the processional and ceremony timing went smoothly. We also had specific songs we wanted played at specific moments throughout the wedding and he nailed all of those cues. One of the highlights was our Battle of the Brothers game during the reception. We had a specific idea for how we wanted the game to work, but we didn't even have to walk him through how to engage the crowd — he immediately knew how to host it and keep everyone involved. Our guests were incredibly engaged and it ended up being one of the most fun moments of the reception. For the dancing, while he didn't end up playing every song we had specifically requested, there was someone on the dance floor pretty much the entire night, which says a lot about how well he read the room! He was professional, easy to work with, and did a great job keeping the energy going while also making sure the important moments of the evening happened smoothly. We’re so glad we chose him for our wedding and would definitely recommend him!”

“Mark was hands down THE best part of our wedding! He was so helpful during the whole planning process. Any questions we had he gave us the best advice. He doubles down as a “Day of Coordinator” as well, making sure the timeline is down to a tee. The lights he set up in our reception was like nothing I’ve seen at any other wedding. He even had us throw down on the turntable and it was such a fun and unique moment that everyone loved!! It really was electric during party time! Mark is also so friendly and personable. “Every time someone asks me what the highlight of our wedding was, I laugh — because as much as I loved each moment that I spent with my new husband, the real answer is THE BAND. From the second those opening chords of “Hot To Go” hit, I genuinely felt like I had died and gone to heaven. The energy was unreal. The dance floor was packed, the vibe was electric, and it was everything I had dreamed of and more. The lead singers were not only exceptionally talented, but also so kind, warm, and gracious. I have a musical background, and after a martini, I felt brave enough to join this marvelous band on stage, and they made me feel like an absolute rockstar (even though I’m quite sure I didn’t sound like one). Their presence and energy completely transformed the night. Our wedding would not have been the same without them — I truly mean that with my whole heart. “Jamie was one of our favorite vendors to work with! He was professional, kind, thoughtful, and never made me feel like my questions or requests were too much. We were a little nervous about blending my vibrant Nigerian culture with Ben's family's background for a truly unified party. We needed a DJ who could be a cultural translator, a party starter, and a vibe curator. DJ Don X exceeded every expectation. From our initial consultation, he was invested. He asked thoughtful questions about specific Highlife, Afrobeats, and Afro-pop songs that were important to my family, and he was equally enthusiastic about incorporating classic rock and indie hits that spoke to Ben's side. He crafted a timeline that honored traditions like the money spray (which he announced perfectly to ensure all guests understood the joyful significance) while keeping the energy electric and inclusive. “Jason was great throughout the whole process! He was great at communicating and making sure he had all of the songs that we wanted (and didn’t) throughout the night. He also did a great job at adjusting the songs played based off of what our guests responded well to so people were on the dance floor all the time which I loved!! He collected a bunch of photos from us and displayed them on a screen that’s built into his DJ booth (I don’t know what it’s called) and many guests came up to us to specifically tell us that they loved seeing our pictures of us and our relationship as well as pics of us growing up. It’s something I don’t even think of doing, but Jason offered and I’m so glad he did! He also set up a photo booth that was very popular. He was great at making sure that things that I needed were just taken care of and went out of his way to coordinate with my wedding planner and kept me in the loop which I appreciated. We had a ton of kids at our wedding and he did a great job at playing clean (and popular) music that wasn’t raunchy. If I have any other events I’ll be sure to book Jason and I’d highly recommend him to any of my friends and family!”
