DJ Neal Aka “The Angel”

I’m an experienced DJ and have been spinning at events for over 25 yrs. In addition, I’ve participated as talent, as well as tech and presentation, in music related events all around the Washington DC/Northern Virginia/Maryland region for three decades. I branched out into doing weddings in the 00’s, and it has been great! I love playing weddings and sharing in the joy of the happy couple and their families!

I’ve done weddings for groups of different faiths and creeds. I’m very open minded and inclusive, and feel very strongly that love, commitment, and togetherness should be celebrated in all of its diverse forms. It’s about you and who you choose, and when it comes time to kick up your heels and celebrate, I hope you’ll choose me to spin the tunes!

Our FAVORITE vendor decision!
Neal is the G.O.A.T! He was one of our absolute favorite vendors to work with and played such a huge role in making our wedding everything we hoped it would be. From the very beginning, Neal was thoughtful, professional, incredibly accommodating, and genuinely invested in making the music feel like us. He went above and beyond by creating custom mixes for our parent dances, and they turned out absolutely perfectly. He also handled the audio for our ceremony, and the microphones and speakers were flawless! Every word could be heard clearly, there were no technical difficulties despite this being a completely outdoor wedding, and we never had to worry about a thing. The cocktail hour and reception was just as incredible. Neal played every song we wanted, completely understood the atmosphere we were going for, and kept our dance floor packed all night. The volume of every song was also perfect and we had so many guests compliment the music both during and after the wedding, which says everything! He knew exactly how to read the room and keep the energy going while still making sure the music felt personal to us. Beyond being an amazing DJ, Neal was simply such a pleasure to have as part of our wedding day. He went above and beyond at every turn, made the entire process easy and stress-free, and absolutely delivered when it mattered most. We never had to ask him to do anything because he would problem solve/troubleshoot everything himself without involving us. Our wedding would not have been the same without him, and we are so grateful for everything he did to make the day perfect. We would recommend Neal without hesitation to anyone looking for a DJ who is talented, attentive, reliable, and genuinely cares about making your wedding unforgettable. 20/10, full stop we could not have chosen anyone better!

Avtomat Audio-Visual Services made our wedding reception feel like a celebration from start to finish. Neal, our DJ and emcee, kept the energy going all night with incredible song selections and handled every announcement with ease. He was responsive to our requests and adjusted things on the fly without missing a beat. Beyond the music, their photobooth and lighting package elevated the whole experience and gave our guests something fun to do throughout the night. From our first conversation through the day-of execution, he communicated clearly and stayed on top of every detail. We couldn't have asked for a better choice to keep our guests entertained.

Friendly, Communicative, & Thoughtful!
DJ Neal was an amazing choice for our recent wedding at the Rust Manor House in Leesburg, VA. From the beginning of the wedding process, DJ Neal was friendly, communicative, and thoughtful. He took into consideration some of our favorite artists and curated a wonderful playlist for our wedding day (i.e., ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). We had quite a unique request being “early 2000s nostalgia” for the reception and he delivered! During couples portraits before the ceremony, I remember telling people how much I enjoyed the music he was playing. Additionally, during our reception in the outdoor tent, everyone was out of their seat and on the dance floor. As someone who considers themselves a homebody, he really brought me and my (now) husband out of our shells and created such a fun energy. The transitions between songs were so smooth and well executed. Additionally, he was a wonderful and well-spoken MC for our event. We really appreciated him for being part of our big day! Thank you so much, DJ Neal, I can’t wait to continue telling all of my friends and family members how amazing you were.

Neal made our wedding day so much better than we could have hoped. Neal was incredible to work with from start to finish – he answered our questions quickly, gave us plenty of time to build our playlist exactly how we wanted it, and even helped us sort out a last-minute mix-up with the wedding party right before we walked into the reception. Since my husband is military and I was planning from afar, Neal took the time to walk me through everything and made the whole process feel manageable. The music was fun and upbeat all night, and our guests loved that we got to hear our own songs. Neal's generosity with his time and his understanding attitude made such a difference during the planning process. We would absolutely recommend Avtomat Audio-Visual Services to any couple looking for a DJ who actually cares.

The best in NoVa!!
DJ Neal was the perfect DJ and MC for our wedding! From the very beginning, Neal was a quick responder and extremely organized, which helped make our 3 month wedding timeline a lot less stressful! On the day of, he was a true professional-very organized and kept things running smoothly. He was incredibly flexible and dealt with a lot of last minute additions and changes with ease including a last minute Photo Booth, which was the highlight of the night! He is very talented as he chose the perfect music based on the high energy of the dance floor as well as most of the ceremony music with minimal recommendations. I highly recommend Neal for any couple looking for a professional, fun, and affordable DJ for their wedding day!
