About this venue
A magnificent Georgian mansion set high upon a hill, surrounded by centuries-old trees, flowering shrubs and perfectly manicured lawns...and inside, marble and polished oak, glittering chandeliers, gleaming brass fixtures, towering Palladian windows, and a sweeping staircase that just begs for a bridal procession. The Mansion is a working art gallery and arts space, adding character to your special day. During your rental, your event is the only one taking place in the Mansion.

With high ceilings and charming details, the Music Room is the perfect spot for a ceremony, reception, or any other celebration.
The space is long with a beautiful fireplace at one end and large doors to the foyer and fountain on the other. Remnants of a beautiful old organ, original windows, beautiful wood accents, and a gorgeous chandelier accent the space.

Beautiful and affordable for a small wedding
The Mansion at Strathmore was the perfect venue for our wedding. From our first inquiry, the team responded quickly and worked with us on everything we asked for without any pushback. The space is stunning and the location near DC made it convenient for our guests to travel to. Best of all, we got a beautiful venue without breaking the bank. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the elegant setting throughout the night. We'd absolutely recommend The Mansion at Strathmore to any couple looking for an affordable and gorgeous place to say their vows.
