Brookside Gardens Wedding Venue Showcase is this Sunday November 19, 2023 11am-2pm. Located in Brookside Gardens Visitor Center Auditorium, the event is free and open to the public. Come speak with Brookside Garden Staff and over 15 vendors including caterers, photographers, and planners! Brookside Gardens is a picturesque wedding venue located in Wheaton. Defined by its immaculate lawns and tranquil green spaces, this 50-acre property welcomes you and your partner to enjoy a unique celebration. This botanical garden is replete with vibrant floral arrangements with a selection of indoor and outdoor event spaces that will surely delight your guests. This gem is ideal for couples seeking a peaceful wedding venue. Founded in 1969, Brookside Gardens has set the scene for countless celebrations, while inviting couples to enjoy the venue’s natural beauty. Brookside Gardens was an amazing venue and the staff there are amazing. There are a wide variety of different venue locations that are all beautiful in their own way. The Brookside Gardens team was amazing. Jennifer in particular went above and beyond but the whole team was really helpful. From the beginning of our wedding planning process to the day of, the folks at Brookside Gardens were super helpful. Jennifer helped us envision our perfect wedding ceremony and reception and made sure it happened just as we had planned. On the day of our wedding, Jennifer and the team were GREAT and helped the day of coordinator as well as all the other vendors navigate the grounds and get things where they needed to be. It's a beautiful venue and the people running it are just as great!

November, January, February, and March. December is considered off-season, however our availability is limited because of our annual Garden of Lights Festival which runs the end of November through the New Year!

Yes, however we are in Montgomery County which is an controlled county when it comes to alcohol. All alcohol must be bought in Montgomery County as well as all alcohol must be served by a licensed, certified, and insured bartender. We highly recommend booking with a full-service caterer who offers alcoholic services.

Yes, our Visitor Center Parking lot has enough spaces to hold 150 cars and 6 accessible parking space. Parking is first come, first served and is open to the public.

Yes, all but two of our facilities are wheelchair accessible. Let event staff know when booking your tour/consultation that you may have a family or friend who will need the space to be accessible!

We offer 3 rental packages: a 2-hour event, a 4-hour event, and a 6-hour event. Each rental package comes with 2 additional hours for setup, 1 additional hour for cleanup, and all tables and chairs.

This depends on your package. We offer 2-hour, 4-hour, and 6- hour packages. Since each packages comes with 2 hours setup time and 1 hour cleanup time. The total hours would be a 5-hour, 7-hour, and 9-hour respectively.

Security Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel with us. Depending on when you cancel you may be entitled to a portion or all of your rental fee to be refunded. Please contact the Event Rentals Office at (301)-962-1404 or event.manager@montgomeryparks.org for more information.

Though we do not require liability or event cancellation insurance. We do recommend purchasing them as a fail-safe. We do require insurance to be submitted for your caterer and bartender.

Security Deposits will range from $750-$1500 depending on the package. $1500 is the most common.

No. We do have a vendor collection which is a list of vendors who have been to the gardens before so they know the rules and regulations, however you do not need to choose from this list- it is given merely as a starting point for clients.
