About this venue
District Winery hosts full-service weddings for up to 200 guests. The first working winery in Washington, DC, District Winery is located in Navy Yard along the Anacostia River. Our modern, sophisticated, waterfront wedding venue with floor to ceiling windows, an outdoor terrace, and sweeping river views is the ideal venue for your wedding. District Winery include our highly regarded wedding cuisine and wines made onsite. Executive Chef Christian Fischhuber brings years of international culinary expertise to our venue, as he oversees every detail of your menu. Couples work with a District Winery event manager who will assist with all of the details, from helping curate the perfect menu to coordinating with vendors to ensure seamless execution. All District Winery weddings are turnkey and include the use of our custom walnut tables, chairs, high top tables, bar stools, marble topped bars, china, glassware, flatware, linen napkins, printed menus, table top items to enhance your decor.

District Winery did an incredible job with our wedding! From the first day we started working with them to the day of the wedding everything was flawless. We had 188 guests 6 piece band, cleaned up a table for dancing and had windy weather so the terrace had the sides down and still everyone fit in there well. They had the space heaters on which were fantastic and you really could not tell anything about the weather. A few highlights: - Pre wedding they give you a coordinator about 3 months out who answers all of your questions/helps to coordinate the event (and before this 3 month mark you can email the events team and someone will get back to you!). - They are full service - we only had to bring in music, cake, floral, photo, video and photo booth! The space is so beautiful you really don't need to bring in a ton of decor. - The food and wine/champagne are spectacular - They are incredibly accommodating - we asked for a few random things and they were met with and "of course!" Our event manager Tori was incredible and we cannot thank her enough!!! Truly thank you to the entire DW team, we have heard compliment after compliment about our wedding, the staff, the venue, the food, the bar, everything and we owe it all to you guys. THANK YOU!!
Easiest wedding decision we made!
District Winery ended up being the only venue we toured. My goal as a bride was to have to worry about as little as possible and from the start of our communication we loved how much District Winery had to offer (I am not a type A person so this was great!) They were extremely organized in their planning, the food was delicious, and our guests are still raving about the day! We got to fully enjoy our wedding day knowing we were taken care of. Our vendors even mentioned how well they were treated which was so nice to hear. DW truly exceeded our expectations. For couples who want an almost all inclusive venue DW is a great choice.
Easy and Amazing!
We had a wedding at District Winery and it was everything we wanted and more! You hear of so many horror stories about people paying crazy amounts and not getting half of what they ask for. We went with District Winery due to their location (on the waterfront) and their all inclusive package. We didn’t need to go through a crazy amount of vendors for food or setup. But in the end between District Winery and specifically Rheanna everything was smooth flowing and matched exactly with our vision.
District Winery is DC's best venue!
We are SO glad we chose District Winery as our wedding venue for our May 2023 wedding. We wanted a DC wedding without being a "DC" wedding and District Winery was the perfect one-stop shop venue for us. Everything from start to finish worked tremendously and with ease. We are so grateful for all the helpful employees, beautiful venue, and amazing location of DW. Having our wedding in Navy Yard made it so easy for guests who were coming from out of town. Everyone loved DW's building and delicious food/drink. We highly recommend District Winery as your wedding venue!
