Terrace & The Overlook

Large event space with warm design elements, excellent lighting, and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the winery space.

Guests will enjoy floor to ceiling windows overlooking our winery and production space, as well as Clark Street. A unique skylight and warm design fixtures provide excellent, airy lighting throughout. Lounge spaces overlooking the winery provide inviting areas for seating near our warm fireplace. This space is adjacent to our dedicated four-season outdoor terrace for events. Perfect year round and can be used no matter the midwest weather.

Chicago Winery is a unique urban winery venue surrounded by the vibrant arts scene of River North and the glamour of historic Chicago. Our venue boasts a four-seasons outdoor rooftop terrace draped in cafe lights that allow for an outdoor vibe all year round. The exquisite design will have guests swooning over its romantic tones. The best decision
We had the most amazing experience with Chicago Winery. I’m so thankful for Jenn for all her help!! (A day of coordinator is included which was super awesome for my type B self). She knew what we needed before we even did. I couldn’t have asked for a better day. The food and drinks were amazing. I think that’s the best wedding food/drinks I’ll ever have (and our guests had so many compliments as well)!

Choose Chicago Winery!
From the very beginning of our venue search, Chicago Winery felt different. We could immediately tell that their attention to service was a priority and that they truly cared about our day — we never felt like just another booking. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous — elegant, warm, and perfectly located in the heart of downtown. Having everything be all-inclusive made the experience even better. Every detail was so thoughtfully planned, and from the first tour to the tasting event to our final walkthrough, we consistently felt like VIPs. Chris, our day-of venue coordinator, was absolutely phenomenal. He was always ten steps ahead, incredibly organized, and so wonderful to work with. We truly felt like we were in the best hands with him — his calm presence, communication and attention to detail made the entire day feel seamless and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team!

Everything We Hoped For and More!!!!!!!!
I genuinely do not even know where to begin because Chicago Winery gave us the most magical, emotional, and unforgettable wedding day we could have ever imagined. From the moment we walked in, everything felt warm, romantic, and so thoughtfully put together. It is such a stunning space, but what truly makes it special is the people. And I have to talk about Jenn, our day-of coordinator, because she was an absolute dream. I cannot imagine the day without her. She was calm, organized, and completely on top of every little detail, but also so kind and reassuring in a way that just makes you exhale and enjoy every second. She handled things before I even had the chance to think about them and made everything feel so seamless and easy. Every bride needs a Jenn. The entire team made us feel so cared for, and you can tell they genuinely love what they do. The food was incredible, the wine was flowing, and the whole space had this cozy, romantic energy that made the night feel so intimate and special. We are still getting messages from guests saying it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to, which honestly says everything. If you are dreaming of a wedding that feels beautiful, effortless, and full of love, Chicago Winery is it. We would choose it again a thousand times over!!!

BEST DECISION
We are BEYOND grateful to the CW team for being the venue of our Labor Day Weekend wedding. We'd pick Chicago Winery 10x over again, it was truly the best. "Best wedding food I've ever had" - multiple guests. Thanks to Hulda and the team.

Chicago Winery Was The Best!!
Everything about working with Chicago Winery was amazing from start to finish. We picked it because we had been to their restaurant/tasting room, and our number one priority was having excellent food and cocktails. They delivered on every aspect leading up to the wedding and were so communicative, organized and on top of everything. Jen was our event manager and even our wedding planner commented on how all over everything she was. Guests are still talking about how it was some of the best wedding food they have had, and no one was ever waiting for a drink at the bar. The all inclusive packaging makes vendor selection minimal, the space is gorgeous, and the team know how to run a wedding. As someone who had worked in the industry, I had particular expectations, and they truly over delivered on them all. 12/10 no notes, best decision we made!!!
