Large event space with warm design elements, excellent lighting, and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the winery space.

Guests will enjoy floor to ceiling windows overlooking our winery and production space, as well as Clark Street. A unique skylight and warm design fixtures provide excellent, airy lighting throughout. Lounge spaces overlooking the winery provide inviting areas for seating near our warm fireplace. This space is adjacent to our dedicated four-season outdoor terrace for events. Perfect year round and can be used no matter the midwest weather.

We Loved CW!
We had our wedding at Chicago Winery in May and we cannot recommend the venue enough! Having everything handled “in house” made the entire planning process stress free. At the same time, the entire CW team was amazing to work with to help bring our vision to life and make even the little details feel custom for us. From the first venue tour, to getting to try all the food at the unique CW couples tasting, and now being able to go back to the wine bar any time for a date night, CW made the entire process enjoyable and made us feel special. We also had the pleasure of having Chris assigned as our Event Manager and we cannot speak highly enough! He was such a joy to work with, had great suggestions every step of the way, and made sure even our little notes were executed flawlessly. We were consistently met with collaboration and that allowed us to bring our vision to life. One of the main things that stuck out for us is that we wanted our late night snack Chicago Hot Dogs to have a different presentation. Chris advocated for us, put the plans together with the CW culinary team, and made it all happen behind the scenes. It was a small detail, but something that really meant a lot to us. He also helped us schedule our Ketubah Ceremony in the Barrel Room, which was a super cool and unique touch, even incorporating some family traditions too. From meeting at the tasting, to helping us perfect our dip literally minutes before the ceremony, we were so lucky to have Chris by our side. From the planning assistance, the venue space and indoor/outdoor options for various parts of the day, to the quality of the food and cocktails, Chicago Winery is truly a top tier venue in the city. Months later, we’re still getting rave reviews about the food and CW team from our guests.

The perfect night!
We had a perfect July wedding at Chicago Winery and we could not be happier. From the initial correspondence and tour, we felt so welcomed by Lindsey, Amy and team. Both of our parents are not local to Chicago and the venue accommodated tours for them when they came to town. Having everything in house was SO easy - it’s one of the only downtown venues we could find that truly does the setup, day of coordination, food, drinks, furniture. Our event manager, Chris, was awesome and checked in on us throughout the night (something you don’t realize you need until you are the ones getting married lol). Shelby also helped out just day of and she really came in clutch when she helped bustle my dress! The proximity of the venue to our hotel blocks and other downtown sights was perfect. Our guests continue to rave about the food, especially the short ribs and scalloped potatoes. You do a group tasting with other couples getting married in the months around your wedding (our tasting was in April) which was a really fun experience. Although the food at the tasting was great, the food the day of the wedding somehow was even better. The bartenders were friendly and efficient. We had 172 guests with a band and it felt like a great size (cocktail hour was crowded but breathable), we had a large enough dance floor that was packed all night long. We headed to the Kerryman for an after party which we highly recommend. I would recommend Chicago Winery to anyone wanting a downtown Chicago venue - it’s beautiful and unique and everyone was so relaxed and having a great time the entire event.

he Perfect Venue and an Unforgettable Experience
Where do I begin? Chicago Winery was everything we could have asked for and more. My husband and I toured nearly a dozen wedding venues throughout Chicago, and while each had something we liked, none checked every box until we found Chicago Winery. From the moment we submitted an inquiry, we knew we were in good hands. We received a response almost immediately and were able to schedule a call with their Sales Manager, Lindsay, later that same day. During our conversation, she took the time to understand our vision, guest count, priorities, budget, and the overall atmosphere we hoped to create. She also shared available dates within our preferred timeframe and thoughtfully recommended having one or two dates in mind if we were seriously considering the venue. A few days later, we toured Chicago Winery and were welcomed with a complimentary glass of wine. By the end of the tour, we were completely sold and booked our wedding date that same day. The venue is absolutely stunning, but what truly stood out was the professionalism, warmth, and organization of the team. Throughout the planning process, we had access to the event management team whenever questions came up. About three months before our wedding, we were introduced to our Event Manager, Hulda, and attended our tasting. Chicago Winery prepares every item on their menu for couples to sample—from passed hors d'oeuvres and salads to entrées, sides, desserts, and of course, their wines. They host tastings with all the couples getting married around the same time, which made for such a fun and unique experience. It was exciting to meet other couples and share in the wedding planning journey together. Hulda was absolutely phenomenal. She provided an incredibly detailed planning document that covered everything from food and beverage selections to vendor information, ceremony details, music, décor, and timeline logistics. She was consistently responsive, patient, and helpful whenever we had questions. About six weeks before the wedding, we met for our final walkthrough, where we reviewed the timeline, discussed logistics, and incorporated her recommendations to ensure the day flowed seamlessly. On our wedding day, everything exceeded our expectations. The venue recommends holding the rehearsal once the bridal party arrives, which worked perfectly and kept the day running efficiently. They welcomed us with champagne and a beautiful charcuterie spread in the bridal suite, which was such a thoughtful touch before the festivities began. From guest arrival—where everyone was greeted with passed wine—to the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner service, and reception, the entire event team kept everything running effortlessly. We never had to worry about what came next because they were always one step ahead. Their coordination allowed us to truly be present and enjoy every moment of the day. Our guests are still talking about how incredible the venue was. We received countless compliments on the ambiance, the attentive service, and especially the food, which exceeded everyone's expectations. Chicago Winery delivered an exceptional experience from start to finish and made the wedding planning process feel far less overwhelming than we ever expected. Choosing Chicago Winery was one of the best decisions we made. Every member of the team genuinely cared about making our day special, and we couldn't be more grateful. We cannot recommend Chicago Winery highly enough.

Chicago Winery Wedding
We had a spring wedding at Chicago Winery, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! They are a well-oiled machine- from the initial tour and booking with Lindsey, to the organized and super fun tasting, to then being paired with Hulda- who is a true queen. She helped us so much pre-wedding, and always met our questions with patience and kindness. Day of ran SO smoothly. Hulda, Greg, and the whole team were spot on. All of our guests have raved about the food and how this was the most well-executed wedding they have been to! Big shoutout to the bartenders and the wait staff; everyone was on it! Hulda anticipated our needs and read our body language so well, and made sure we got alone time when we really needed it. Thank you so much CW team!!

The most perfect venue - can we run it back?
From the moment we started planning with Chicago Winery, the entire team made sure we felt heard and supported every step of the way. Everyone's communication was clear and fast through their portal - and when we were assigned Chris as our primary, he answered our questions right away and went above and beyond as our day-of planner. Chris set up our decor exactly how we envisioned it, kept our drinks flowing, and made sure we actually got to eat and try all the appetizers (something we know doesn't always happen at weddings!). The food was incredible, and we had plenty of space to move between the main room and terrace all night long which I know our guests appreciated (especially those who didn't find themselves on the dance floor all night). The next day, I heard only positives about the food and the venue - entrees were actually good, drinks were strong, people were full and well fed (between cocktail hour, dinner, late night snack, and dessert), and the space was stunning. Chris anticipated what we needed before we even asked and treated us like VIPs the entire evening - it was absolutely magical. We can't thank him and the Chicago Winery team enough for making our day feel so special. Recommend 10/10 Chicago Winery - and ask for Chris!
