    Beautiful space !

    Hangout Lighting was the perfect fit for our intimate wedding celebration. They responded to our emails quickly and made the planning process smooth from start to finish. The space itself is gorgeous—rustic yet modern with plenty of room for our guests to move around comfortably. What we appreciated most was their hands-off approach; they gave us the freedom to use the venue however we wanted without hovering over us or watching the clock. The audio setup worked great for our size of wedding, and while they don't allow subwoofers, the sound was more than loud enough for everyone to hear the music and chat throughout the night. We'd recommend Hangout Lighting to any couple looking for a chic, spacious venue that respects your vision for the day.

    TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE- DO NOT RECOMMEND

    I had a very disappointing experience with Hangout Lighting Events. We encountered a refrigeration issue, and what was most frustrating was the complete lack of effort from the owner to address or resolve the problem. Things can go wrong at any event, but what matters is how a business responds when they do. Unfortunately, there was no meaningful attempt to fix the refrigeration issue, find an alternative solution, or take responsibility for the situation. That level of indifference is unacceptable when customers are relying on you to provide a professional service. I expected much better communication, accountability, and customer service. Instead, I was left feeling that our concerns were scoffed at by the owner. Additionally, when renting out this space be prepared to set up and break down your space within one hour (one hour to set up and one hour to break down). Due to the time constraint, you will need multiple people to help you. The back stairwell is also unlit and my mother (mother of the bride) fell down the stairs. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Hangout Lighting Events. A business should stand behind its service and make a genuine effort to resolve problems when they arise. That was simply not my experience here.

    We care deeply about our clients and do everything reasonably possible to help them have a wonderful event. When contacted, the owner came immediately, confirmed that the refrigerator was functioning properly, and found that coolers and ice were already in use. The complaint was that we had not explained that a standard refrigerator cannot instantly chill a large quantity of warm beer; we do not believe explaining the basic operation of a refrigerator is the venue’s responsibility. Clients may book as much setup and cleanup time as they need; this client chose to book only one hour. The exterior stairs are lit. We readily address problems involving the venue, but we cannot take responsibility for a client’s planning decisions.

    Great venue

    Beautiful venue with an amazing atmosphere. The space was easy to use and set up, making the whole day feel smooth and stress-free. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting it. Highly recommend!

    Beautiful venue!

    We rented Hangout Lighting's event space for our wedding, and they exceeded our expectations. Their communication was fast and simple, making the process of booking and coordinating very easy. The lighting and decor included was absolutely beautiful and they offered it all at a great price. The space is multi-functional and versatile, with unique and stunning lighting that made the venue feel warm and intimate. The included furniture also made the space feel welcoming and comfortable for our guests. We couldn't have been happier with Hangout Lighting and highly recommend them for any special occasion.

    Exactly what I was looking for

    Hangout Lighting was a fantastic choice for our wedding reception venue. Jen's communication throughout the planning process was extremely prompt and helpful. I was looking for a space that was already partially decorated and set up, one that had some indoor and outdoor space, as well as one that allowed us to bring in any vendors of our choosing. Hangout Lighting delivered on all these points. We loved the lighting (of course!) and that the beautiful farmhouse tables and chairs were already perfectly in place. Jen offered a lot of flexibility in the timing of the day as well, so we could choose the number of hours that fit our event. I wish we could have celebrated past the 10pm last call and, looking back, might have started our event earlier in the evening to have more time. But all of the rules and guidance were extremely well communicated ahead of time, so we knew what we were getting into. The free street parking was plentiful, and the location worked great for us. Very glad we were able to celebrate our wedding at Hangout Lighting during the first year that they were hosting events in the space, as I think we got a great deal as well, having compared prices with some similar places in the area. Thanks Jen and staff!

Yes BYOB is allowed. We only require a basset certified bartender.
We have 3-4 parking spots in our driveway, perfect for vendors and unloading. Street parking for guests is plentiful on nights and weekends.

It is a makers/manufacturing district and very quiet outside of business hours. There are many breweries in the area. I live here with my family and always feel safe.
Your 50% deposit is non-refundable. Remaining balance is due 30 days prior to event and is non refundable. You may reschedule your date for a $500 fee.
Yes! We will work with any licensed caterer. No extra fees.
Yes but all music must end at 10pm out of respect for our residential neighbors. DJ must use our included speaker.
