Tucked away in a Chicago neighborhood is a non-descript building where we patiently age our renowned Bourbon County Brand Stout. What the outside world doesn't know is that in this building lies the vast Goose Island Barrel House, where, in addition to aging our world-class beers, we have created a unique event space unmatched throughout the city of Chicago. Part Kentucky rickhouse and part Napa winery, this stunning space is a tribute to Chicago's storied industrial past.     Best Day Ever!!!

    This was the best place we could have had our reception! From the very beginning, Lisa was responsive, excited, and the event was absolutely flawless! The space is beautiful and everyone was so fun to work with! The staff was amazing, and it was the perfect size for our 130 guests. I truly cannot say enough good things! Goose Island Barrel House was a dream venue with a dream team behind it. Highly recommend!!

    Stunning and Prestine

    The Barrel House was everything we wanted for our wedding venue. The space comes already decorated with barrels lining the walls and lighting that transitions easily from cocktail hour to dance floor. Lisa and the Goose Island team were attentive and worked so well with our other vendors to make sure things go smoothly. The provided valet parking was appreciated by guests who drove and saved another possible headache. The library section provided the perfect place for those who needed a break from the dancing. Everyone was so impressed with the space when they crossed through the doors.

We ask that you purchase beer and cider through Goose Island. If you'd like to have wine and liquor on site, this must be legally poured and served by the properly licensed caterer. We can help you set this up.
