“I found Alexa on the Knot and booked her for Monarch’s full wedding planning package as my husband & I were planning a wedding outside of Chicago in an unconventional venue, 9 months away, and lived in another state. It was a big challenge but from the initial consultation, we loved Alexa’s energy, organization, commitment and just knew we could trust her with our once in a lifetime event. The planning process was extremely organized, thorough and well-paced. She matched my attention to detail, tackled unplanned challenges with ferocity (which included a limited selection of vendors given the location of our venue) and was as dedicated to bringing my very specific vision to life as I was. She helped us run an efficient rehearsal prior to the wedding and coordinated with me so that we would have all of the set-up and items how I wanted them for our wedding day. On the day of the wedding, she went above and beyond in her role. She set up all of our decor, helped facilitate transportation of items, executed the timeline and adapted when things went off time (and importantly, did all of this seamlessly so that myself and the guests didn’t notice), created back-up plans when there were issues with other vendors, coordinated set-up with other vendors, ran to get my lipstick from another room for photos, and too many other things behind the scenes that I didn’t even have to know about because I was able to trust her to tackle them. She took charge of organizing with our many vendors—often without needing our involvement, which was a huge relief as the day approached. Michelle is incredibly well-established in the Chicagoland wedding scene and has clearly built strong relationships with many of the most popular local vendors—photographers, bands, DJs, caterers, florists, venues—you name it. That familiarity made coordination seamless and stress-free, and it was clear she had worked with many of our vendors before, which gave us even more peace of mind. She created a detailed, thoughtful timeline that covered everything from the bridal party’s hair and makeup arrival to the band’s final song and the venue teardown. Thanks to her preparation and the hard work of her team, everything went according to schedule without a single hiccup. On the wedding day itself, we were able to be fully present, knowing we were in the best hands. We didn’t have to worry about a thing and could simply enjoy every moment with our family and friends. To provide an example my table numbers I ordered from Etsy did not arrive in time, and they asked for photos of the ones I ordered and FOUND SOMEONE TO CREATE THEM IN LESS THAN TWO DAYS!!!!!! Our entire wedding day was completely on schedule, and when we would get only very slightly off, they found a way to bring it back together seamlessly, with smiles on their faces, and with the upmost professionalism and respect for us. Myriam will be your #1 hype girl, remember to bring things you wouldnt even think about until you needed them in the final moments, and handle the stressful situations without letting you know about them. Ryan is the jack of all trades, extremely kind, organized and a calming presence. I could not be happier with having Lets Plan on Forever as my coordinators and wish I would have brought them into my planning process from day 1. I didn't think I needed day of coordinators but BOY WAS I WRONG - they made my wedding absolutely perfect and beautiful. I want to get married again so I can hang out with Myr and Ry again all day. “Where do we begin? From the moment Camille offered her expertise to us, we knew we would be all good on our wedding day. Her vast experience in the event planning and coordinating space — she has worked as a caterer, day-of coordinator, full blown event planner — was evident from the first time meeting. Camille's attention to detail is a credit to her organization skills and depth of knowledge related to event and wedding planning. We did most of our planning ahead of time and brought Camille in to be our day-of coordinator. About two months before our wedding, we met with Camille and shared as many of our wedding details we had available and within a day, Camille had created an extremely detailed timeline for the entire weekend. Any element of the timeline that she did not have yet was highlighted red so we could figure out what information we needed to provide. She regularly would check in with us to make sure we were working to get those missing elements, and actually took over responsibility gathering some of it for us. Her knowledge of event planning helped us plan out when to schedule our entrance, first dance, dinner service for a wedding of 275, and speech timing to ensure we got out on the dance floor with plenty of time to dance. She connected all of our vendors and sent regular updates to them to make sure everyone was on the same page. As our day-of wedding coordinator, Camille was present at our rehearsal the night before. When it was time to really get going, Camille took charge and commanded the rehearsal with confidence. She walked me and my husband through her rehearsal process, got us set to practice, took notes for the day, and just made us feel certain that everything was going to work out. On the day of the wedding, our first look was at noon. When rain entered the forecast for the day, Camille quickly located an alternative first look location and communicated the change of plans with our photographer and wedding party, who got us where we needed to be. When we arrived at the wedding & reception venue around 2 p.m., we anticipated needing to help finish setting up the space. Camille, with a small team of our family and friends, got the entire space set and ready before we arrived. That let us relax and enjoy some time with our bridal party before the ceremony began. Camille is real, honest, and will tell you the truth when you need to hear it. She listens to what you're wanting and hoping for on your wedding day, and does everything she can to make that vision happen. She sees and thinks details about the day that wouldn't cross most people's minds. I would recommend Camille and Cherry on Top Creative Planning to anyone who wants to feel certain that their wedding day will feel perfect. (It won't be perfect though, because perfect never happens!)”
