Hello Couples! Thank you for visiting my listing on Zola! My name is Chelsea, and I am the owner and operator of Finishing Touch Events here in Chicago. With 8 years of coordination and planning experience in social events, primarily weddings, I've seen a little bit of everything. I understand that, along with the excitement of getting engaged and celebrating finding your person, planning a wedding can feel overwhelming. This special event involves all your family and close friends, and it comes with its own unique challenges.

That's where I come in. With my experience and calm demeanor, I will remind you to take those deep breaths, stay hydrated, and assure you both that I'm here to help with everything that has been planned, and even the things that haven't. I'll handle the details and solve any issues that arise, so you don't have to worry. My care for you and your family comes from the heart.     Detail-oriented, Collaborative, and Dedicated

    Working with Finishing Touch Events was a game-changer for our wedding day. From our first meeting, Chelsea showed she genuinely cared about making our day special- she they met with us several times before the wedding, stayed present and alert throughout the event, and handled every detail with precision. When family tension came up on the big day, she navigated it smoothly and kept things running like clockwork. We also appreciated the little touches, like making sure we had snacks before the ceremony and checking in on us to see how we were doing throughout the day. Chelsea's friendly approach made planning stress-free, and she collaborated beautifully with our other vendors. For the price, the level of organisation and care we received was incredible. Would 1000% recommend Chelsea, she is fabulous!

    Incredible time management

    Chelsea had a very calm but organized demeanor and helped the day flow seamlessly. She kept the day moving along and on time, without ever making the couple feel like they needed to rush through something. She was mindful of all details and I cannot recommend her enough for your wedding day!

    Chelsea Rocks!

    As day-of coordinator, Chelsea made the whole process of wedding planning so seamless and easy for us. We planned most of the wedding personally, so to have her come in and take the reins on the day-of planning was super helpful. She and her assistant Annah went above and beyond, always making sure we felt seen and all our needs were taken care of. We couldn't be happier with how the big day went thanks to her, and we couldn't recommend her more!

    Thank you, Chelsea!

    We used Chelsea as our wedding coordinator, and had a great experience! We hired her as our "day of" coordinator, but Chelsea helped us in the weeks leading up to our wedding, building out our timeline and being in contact with us and all of our vendors. We were definitely intimidated by the planning process, and Chelsea was very helpful in answering our questions and making the whole process more comfortable. She even gave us some fun recommendations for potential photo opportunities, and pointed us in the direction of a good dessert vendor when we were having trouble making up our mind. Overall, our wedding was so much fun, and Chelsea really helped make it that way. We were able to just enjoy ourselves and let Chelsea handle the details on the day. My wife and I would wholeheartedly recommend Chelsea's services to anyone looking for a wedding coordinator!
