    Wedding Day Was A Success!

    My husband and I worked with Gina for about 12 months to plan our July 2026 wedding. Before signing a contract, we met with more than ten planners, and we chose Gina because of her efficient approach and clear competence. We wanted someone highly skilled who could help make the planning process less stressful, and Gina and her team delivered in several important ways. Day-of coordination: The wedding day was very well coordinated. When we arrived at the reception, the space was perfectly set up and everything ran smoothly. Having Gina’s team there allowed us to be present and enjoy the day without worrying about logistics. Vendor recommendations: Gina’s recommended vendors were generally excellent. We were especially happy with our photographer, who was truly a 10/10 and captured our day beautifully. Wedding-day timeline: Gina provided a detailed timeline for the wedding day, which was extremely helpful. Having everything clearly laid out helped the day feel calm and organized, and we appreciated that structure. In hindsight, some of the design and planning elements (such as bridal party attire, specific color palettes, and charger plate options) we should have taken on ourselves rather than relying on a planner. These areas sometimes involved more back-and-forth and occasional friction, where we didn’t feel fully aligned on style or expectations. As we got closer to the wedding, the number of small details understandably increased. I sometimes sent emails with several questions at once—especially when I wasn’t completely clear on what certain services entailed. About three weeks before the wedding, we received a strongly worded response from Gina asking us “to confirm in writing that we are on the same page and that you wish for me to continue executing your wedding services as contracted.” This felt very surprising in the moment, given that our intent was simply to clarify details, and there was no additional clarification after we confirmed we wanted to keep going forward. However, the ultimate goal of wedding planning is a successful wedding day, and in that respect, Gina and her team did their job well. My husband and I are absolutely thrilled to be married!

    Amazing work and staff!

    Working with One Fine Day Events was such a relief from start to finish. Emily, our coordinator, was attentive to everything we wanted and kept us in the loop the whole time—nothing fell through the cracks. When issues popped up the day of, she handled them quickly so we didn't have to stress about it. Emily took our ideas and turned them into reality on our wedding day. It was amazing to see our venue set up just the way we imagined it! Her kindness made the entire experience feel smooth and enjoyable, and honestly, having her support made the day feel so much easier than we expected. We can't recommend One Fine Day Events enough!

    Cascino Wedding 2026

    My husband and I were lucky enough to find the best planner and coordinators out there for our wedding this April. Gina, Emily, and Allison were all simply incredible and made us really feel so calm during our big day and leading up to it. They quickly gained our trust in this process and we couldn't have done it without them. All of the girls were so sweet, passionate, understanding, and professional throughout.     Cantigny Bride 2025

    Gina and Emily from One Fine Day Events were amazing! Gina handled month-of coordination and Emily ran the day perfectly. They kept everything on time and organized, even with our huge wedding party (24 people including small children & grandma), three locations day of, and tons of vendors. We got all our photos done before the ceremony and never felt rushed. We got to stay in the moment and spend most of the day together as a couple. We also felt we could visit and say thank you to all 182 of our guests at the wedding. Super professional, calm, and on top of every detail. Highly recommend!

    A Dream Come True

    I was originally on the fence about hiring a Day of Coordinator, but I am so happy that I ultimately did and couldn’t have imagined my day without one. Gina and her team were an absolute dream to work with, from the introduction call to all the meetings leading up to the big day. I ultimately ended up working with team member Morgan D, who was my rock on my wedding day! Leading up to the wedding, she made sure to check in regularly to see how she could help and if I was doing ok. I was able to text her all my questions and concerns the month leading up to the date and Morgan always responded quickly with fast resolution. On the day of, Morgan had her eye on every small detail. I didn’t have to stress at all during my wedding and Morgan made sure to keep us on track and updated. Thank you Gina and Morgan for making our dream a reality!!!
