Hi there, I’m Olivia, the face behind Afterglow Weddings and Events! With over five years of experience in the wedding industry, including catering and venue sales, I've been part of more than 100 love stories. My journey in the Chicago wedding industry has included time as a venue coordinator, catering sales manager and event coordinator. My favorite part about working in the industry is working with couples to help their wedding dreams come to life. At Afterglow Weddings and Events, I'm dedicated to bringing your dreams to life and ensuring every detail reflects your unique love story.
Having been in the Chicago wedding industry for over 5 years I have a wide range of experience working in catering, venues and private planning. I wanted to use my expertise to help all couples bring their dream wedding to life!

Absolutely Recommend Olivia and Afterglow Events
We worked with Olivia as our wedding coordinator on November 1, 2025 and honestly cannot say enough good things about working with her. To start, she is so easy to work with, organized, has incredible attention to detail and truly thinks of everything! From the first time we met with Olivia she was on top of everything. She manages every detail and made sure we stayed on task during the weeks leading up to our wedding in such a transparent, clear way that made the final months/weeks so much less stressful than they could have been. Olivia is so knowledgeable and provided excellent vendor recommendations, guidance, and advice throughout the planning process, which we really appreciated. Olivia is communicative and proactive- which made a world of difference when working with so many people. Literally every one of our vendors complimented and commented on how on top of everything Olivia was and really seemed happy to be working with her. It was so encouraging to go into all of our final vendor meetings with everyone on the same page. Olivia took the time to listen, ask questions, and throughly understand what was important to us, so it was such a relief knowing that we were in such great hands on our wedding day. It was such a perfect day and so much of that is because of Olivia and her team handling every detail, troubleshooting any little hiccup seamlessly, and ensuring we could be present in enjoying every moment of our day. Olivia and her team were not only attentive to us but also to our loved ones which was so kind. Lastly I’ll say that as a bride, it’s a long day full of people and moving parts, so I truly felt so lucky that Olivia was there bringing such a calm, genuine, kind energy- it really made our day even better than I could have expected! We would absolutely recommend Olivia and her team!

We had a great experience working with Olivia as a three-month coordinator for our wedding. She kept us organized, fine-tuned details that we would not have considered ourselves, and made some of the more tedious parts of wedding planning far more manageable—in addition to doing some awesome vendor wrangling that kept our day stress-free. She and her second were really enjoyable to be around on the big day. Would definitely recommend!
An absolute MUST!
Olivia & Hannah are incredible! Olivia kept us on time and stress-free while bringing such a calm, cheerful energy to the day. She helped wrangle family and wedding party so we could truly relax and enjoy. Hannah handled set up and perfected every detail! They truly are a great team! Leading up to the wedding Olivia helped with vendor comms, the entire timeline, venue layout, final details, etc. Olivia knows Chicago and its venues well which made brainstorming easy & logistics seamless! We are so thankful to have found Olivia and her team - they truly made our day perfect and stress free!
Daughter’s Wedding
Olivia was amazing from start to finish! She took care of dealing with the band, flowers, venue, everything! She has a great attention to detail and handled issues we never would have thought of- we had a great time at our daughter's wedding, free of having to worry about anything!
