Hi, I’m Briana! I was born and raised in The Northern Chicago Suburbs, and now reside in The San Fransisco Bay Area. I’ve been behind the camera for over 10 years, capturing everything from everyday moments to life’s biggest milestones. When I’m not photographing, I’m a gymnastics coach, which means I spend a lot of time encouraging little ones, celebrating small wins, and keeping things fun and positive. Outside of work, you’ll usually find me hanging out with my friends, playing with my cats Lana, Levi, and Zoe, checking out a good brewery, or just enjoying my quiet time.

After over four years as a preferred vendor for Wedgewood, shooting 80+ weddings annually, I have gained a lifetime of experience, capturing timeless, emotional moments with a natural, candid style. I'm also a very big over communicator, making sure no details or information goes overlooked before the wedding day. I'm all about creating a relaxed, easygoing experience so you can feel like yourself in front of the camera because I believe that’s where the best photos come from.

    High Quality Collaborator

    Amazing experience!

    Thank you Briana for your amazing photography at our wedding. I don't consider myself as very photogenic or knowledgeable about posing, but she made it all super easy and more relaxed for us. The pictures were amazing and I would 100% recommend.

    An amazing and versitle photographer

    I first found Briana through her amazing work as a wedding photographer. I hired her for a corporate shoot after we had some misalignment with our previous photographer. She was professional, timely, and talented. She knew how to pose us all in a way that was both sleek yet displayed our personalities well. Working with her was beyond what we expected. I highly recommend her for any type of photo shoot you have. She is adaptable to anything and extremely creative.

    Best Second Shooter

    I use Briana Hale as a second shooter on a pretty regular basis and I am always given a gallery that is over filled with details, small moments, and a different perspective from what I get from the day. I recommend her so much she was the photographer that shot my own personal engagement photos. Thanks for everything BH1

I typically do 100 photos per hour. But keep in mind this varies depending on your number of guests, if you're more into candids or posed photos, and other factors.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and fly aways for an additional charge depending on how many photos you want retouched.
No. I usually can take up to 50 photos for one pose or even just the cake, and end up with thousands of photos from the day. You can trust that I deliver my best photos that have a cohesive story, and if I add the raws it can make the day seem like a jumbled mess.
Typically, couples book me about 6-10 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. I do not book anything a year or further out.
