About Tooney White Photography
Tooney White Photography
I'm Tooney! I was born and raised in the Philippines and now call Northern California home. I've been a photographer for over a decade, and one of my favorite parts of this work is making people feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. I know being photographed doesn't come naturally to everyone, and I don't expect it to. I'll give you direction, fix the stray hair, straighten the outfit, and help you feel like yourself — so you can stop thinking about the camera and enjoy your wedding day.
My approach is a balance of knowing when to step in and when to step back. I’ll give you direction when you need it, but I’m always paying attention to what’s happening beyond the obvious — the reactions, relationships, little interactions, and moments you didn’t even know were happening. I want you to have beautiful portraits without spending your wedding day posing for photos. The goal is a gallery that looks beautiful, but more importantly, feels like your day.

The BEST
HIRE TOONEY!! I grew up with a well renowned wedding photographer as my father, and so my pickiness was extremely high when it came to finding someone to photograph my own wedding. After searching for months and going through so many profiles, I stumbled upon Tooney through an Instagram of an Instagram. Her work is so effortless and tailored to the couples vision, it’s amazing. Not only does she have an incredible eye, but she is also one of the kindest people I have ever met. If you want someone to be there on your wedding day to bring the most wonderful vibe and also give you an incredible amount of confidence then Tooney is your photographer.

Tooney’s attention to detail is unmatched!
Tooney was such a gem to work with! We were so lucky to have her shoot our journey, all the way from our proposal, to the engagement photos and last with our wedding day. She made us feel extremely comfortable and confident behind the camera. Tooney was also so great at communication and organization. On our wedding day, our ceremony officiant went over schedule, and Tooney was ready to get us going and staying on schedule. She captured our big day so beautifully. I truly felt like we were able to relive the day through every shot. She captured some moments I didn’t even remember so it was magical to see! The Best!
We absolutely loved working with Tooney from our engagement shoot all the way to our wedding day. She was so nice, incredibly friendly, and truly one of the easiest photographers to work with. Incredible eye for shots and so talented!
Run, don’t walk! My husband and I had the most amazing experience working with Tooney. She is incredibly talented, and kind, her warmth radiates into her photography. My husband and I decided to elope with very short notice and she was able to accommodate us even when leaving town for a big gig on the weekend. We also don’t have experience posing much and she was so skilled at giving us direction. But most importantly it just felt like fun! My husband (who hates taking pictures) said “We got the best photographer possible, she made this so fun”. We got our sneak peeks in just 2 days and we are so ecstatic about the gallery we got. We plan to do a bigger celebration with extended family and friends and will absolutely reach out to Tooney again. You’re in great hands with her!
