HI, I’M HILLARIE HUGHES . I am a lifestyle/wedding photographer based out of Merced, CA. I’m 33 years old, a wife and a mother to four beautiful kids. It's safe to say that I'm a VERY busy mama! You can catch me with my kindle when I’m not editing, and being as active as I can be in my children's lives. Never in a million years did I think that people would love my photos as much as they do, but I am so grateful and so blessed! I am learning more and more every session that I have, and have been incredibly lucky to have such awesome clients (turned into forever friends!) that have been with me during this entire journey.

The main goal during my sessions is to capture pure and genuine smiles. True happiness. Children laughing. Couples falling into even more love with one another. Mamas glowing while they carry their little babes in their tummy. Grandparents with their grandbabies. LOVE.

I cannot recommend Hilarie enough! From the very beginning, she made me feel so welcomed, comfortable, and completely at ease. She captured our family photos beautifully. Hilarie made the entire experience smooth, empowering, and honestly so much fun. Her professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail truly stand out. She guided me through everything and made sure I felt confident every step of the way. Not only did she capture beautiful family memories for us, but she also helped me see myself in a whole new light during my session. That meant more to me than I can even put into words. If you're looking for someone who is talented, patient, professional, and makes you feel completely comfortable, Hilarie is absolutely the photographer to book. Hillarie Hughes Photography is everything you need in an event photographer. She was the photographer at our wedding, and I could not imagine the day with anyone else. I was an event coordinator for a few years, and have worked in the wedding planning industry. Hillarie is one of the most professional and positive photographers in the field that I have ever worked with. She is affordable, communicative, and works hard to provide the best work possible for her clients. What most people don’t realize is that photographers play a key role in managing your day, keeping you on schedule, and also managing other people to help them stay on schedule as well. Hillarie does all of that with a personable and uplifting attitude in a time when stress can be really high. She manages people well, and comes to your event with a high level of knowledge in weddings and photography. She caters to what you want, and will deliver photographs that will take your breath away (even sneak peeks too!). She is knowledgeable of surrounding locations for other photo sessions, and makes you feel like you’re her friend from the start. She provides an all-around positive experience, and captures such beautiful memories that last a lifetime. I cannot recommend her more. You will not be disappointed.
