The best wedding coordinator ever!
Working with Cindy was the best decision we could’ve made for our wedding! She stayed in touch throughout the entire process, responded quickly to our questions, and always gave us clear answers, which made planning feel so much less stressful. On our wedding day, she was constantly thinking about every little detail, making sure everything and everyone was exactly where they needed to be. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how professional, kind, and attentive she was to everyone. She handled all the little things that otherwise would have been stressful for us, allowing me to truly enjoy my wedding to the fullest. That peace of mind was priceless. I’d absolutely recommend ChauEvents to anyone looking for a planner who genuinely cares about making your day special!

Booked, Confirmed, Then Canceled
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend working with Cindy based on our experience. After our initial inquiry, we had an introductory call, signed a contract, paid our deposit, and even received confirmation on July 7 that she had received everything and that we were officially booked. We also scheduled our kickoff meeting. After responding to confirm our kickoff meeting, we never heard back. Five days later, I had to follow up myself because I hadn’t received the calendar invite or any confirmation. Only after I reached out did Cindy inform us that she had “accidentally double booked” our wedding date and could no longer coordinate our wedding. Mistakes can happen, but what was most disappointing was that this wasn’t caught during the inquiry process, contract signing, or after receiving our deposit. We only found out because we followed up. Had we waited longer, we may have lost even more valuable time finding another coordinator for our October wedding. Thankfully, she refunded our deposit promptly, which I appreciate. However, having a signed contract canceled after booking caused unnecessary stress during an already busy wedding planning process. I hope this feedback encourages improvements to booking and communication practices so other couples don’t experience the same situation.

Unfortunately, I made a scheduling error and discovered I had inadvertently double booked your wedding date. As soon as I realized the mistake, I immediately refunded your deposit in full. I also recognize that my response was delayed, which understandably added to your frustration. At the time, I was in the midst of my own wedding week, and my communication was slower than it should have been—but I understand that doesn’t change the impact on your experience. I take full responsibility for this mistake and have since implemented additional booking safeguards to ensure it does not happen again. I truly wish you both nothing but the best and appreciate your feedback, as it has helped me strengthen my processes moving forward.

I had the best experience with Cindy as our day of coordinator! My first impressions of Cindy were that she was an excellent communicator, very organized, and meticulous with the finer details. In our initial call, we discussed what her role as day of coordinator would involve and ensured our expectations were aligned. Around one month before our wedding, we discussed and refined the timeline, reviewed the venue layout, seating chart, list of decor, and fleshed out other details. Cindy reached out to all of our vendors to share her contact details and the general timeline. Cindy executed our wedding day beautifully! I was completely at ease because I knew she was running the show behind the scenes. She helped direct our bridal entourage, kept us on schedule, and oversaw the vendors' arrival, setup, and breakdown. Cindy handled last minute adjustments so that we could focus on enjoying our reception. These changes included arranging the decor in ways that made more sense (it was an unexpectedly windy day!) and adjusting the timeline when some scheduled events (speeches) ran longer than expected. She even took care of some things that I forgot to consider (helped us and the photo/video team coordinate for sunset pics). Cindy was the best day of coordinator we could have asked for! Our wedding day progressed so smoothly and my husband and I didn't have to worry about anything! Thank you so much Cindy for executing our wedding day so perfectly!

The most magical day with the best coordinator!
Working with ChauEvents was such a relief from start to finish. Cindy took the time to really listen to what we wanted and answered every question we had with patience and clarity. On the actual day, she handled all the small details so we could actually enjoy the moment instead of worrying about logistics. What impressed us most was how organized and thoughtful she was—nothing fell through the cracks. She checked in with us throughout the day to make sure we felt taken care of, and it showed that she genuinely cared about making our wedding special. Last but not least, she helped coordinate our private first look and it was truly one of our favorite moments on our wedding day! We'd recommend ChauEvents to any couple looking for a planner who is both efficient and kind.
