I’m Victor, a Chicago wedding photographer and filmmaker who understands how quickly the day moves. Having experienced weddings both behind the camera and as a groom, I guide couples with a calm, intentional approach so they can stay present and fully experience their day while their story is preserved authentically. I serve couples across Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, and destinations worldwide.
What sets my work apart is the experience I create for couples on the wedding day. I believe the best photographs come from moments that are genuinely felt, not forced. Rather than turning the day into a photo shoot, I guide couples in a way that allows moments to unfold naturally. My goal is to create photographs and films that don’t just show what your wedding looked like, but help you remember exactly how it felt.

Amazing Wedding Shoot Experience
We had a wonderful destination wedding, and choosing Visil Photography turned out to be one of our best decisions. From the start, Victor helped us plan the timeline, ensuring the day felt smooth and unhurried. That really made a big difference. On the wedding day, it was never overwhelming or like a photoshoot, which was a huge relief for us. He guided us gently when needed but mostly kept things relaxed so we could just enjoy each other and soak in the moment. The photos turned out absolutely stunning, and what surprised us the most was getting some lovely teasers just days after the wedding. Looking through those photos now feels like reliving the entire day exactly as it happened. I strongly recommend.

Victor Will Make Your Special Day Complete
We booked Victor for photography, videography, and a photo booth, and choosing Visil Photography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, Victor scheduled multiple check-ins and was incredibly intentional about understanding our vision, needs, and expectations for the day. He truly made us feel cared for and confident going into our wedding. On the day itself, Victor and his team were professional, organized, and an absolute joy to work with. They captured every meaningful moment without ever feeling intrusive. We received over 800 beautiful photos that perfectly tell the story of our day from start to finish. The highlight video was amazing and perfect for sharing with friends and family, and we also received a longer video (about 40 minutes) that we plan to watch every year on our anniversary—which is so special to us. The quality of the work, the communication, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. Such a wonderful experience
Victor and his team did a phenomenal job throughout our whole wedding process. Victor really made my husband and I feel so comfortable that we didn’t even notice the camera many times! Beautiful story
So blessed and grateful for Visil Photography capturing our wedding day! He prepared very well and was detail oriented to ensure he was able to include and capture everything we wanted, and when we didn’t have many specifics we wanted he and Alex were helpful in suggestions and capturing our story. Alex was very professional and timely but also helped us relax and let us be ourselves. Our guests loved the pictures and also enjoyed that they didn’t feel they were being watched or like they were on display. He captured the vibe and story of our day and fit right in. Pictures were timely to arrive and beautiful.
