Nova Photos

Nova Photos is a wedding photography, videography, and photo booth studio in Chicago, IL. We're a multicultural, multilingual, LGBTQ-friendly, photographer/employee-owned studio dedicated to documenting the most memorable moments of your wedding day! Collectively, we have captured over 10,000 weddings. At Nova Photos, we work with our clients every step of the way. The team provides comprehensive support with planning locations, setting up permits, and creating a timeline that works for them and their other vendors. Every couple deserves more than just memories; they deserve a timeless keepsake that captures the essence of their love story!

We offer affordable high quality photography, videography and photo booth services! Each of our packages includes the digital copies so that our clients own their photos and they can do whatever they want with them! We offer reasonably priced prints as well! We are experienced in capturing every type of religious ceremony!

    Book with Nova Photos!!

    We had an absolutely incredible experience with the Nova Photos team from start to finish. From the very beginning, they were extremely responsive and communicative, which made the entire planning process feel seamless and stress-free. One thing we really appreciated was the opportunity to speak with photographers ahead of time—it made such a difference in helping us feel confident and excited about our choice for our wedding day. Florin and Maks were truly amazing. They were not only professional and organized, but also so warm and easy to be around. They made us, our wedding party, and our guests feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. They did an incredible job bringing our vision to life while also keeping our photo time efficient and on schedule, which allowed us to fully enjoy our day. They captured every moment so naturally and beautifully, and we are already so grateful for the memories they preserved. We genuinely would book them a hundred times over. We also had the Photo Booth, which was a HUGE hit with our guests! It added such a fun and interactive element to the night, and everyone loved it. We truly cannot wait to see the final photos and relive the day all over again.

    We had the best experience with Maks and Hanan for our photo and video! From the moment we started, they created such a comfortable, fun, and relaxed environment that made everything feel so natural. They were incredibly professional, organized, and truly passionate about what they do. They captured every moment beautifully and made the whole process enjoyable from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients and the memories they’re creating. Highly recommend Maks and Hanan if you’re looking for an amazing photo and video team — absolutely worth every penny!

    Absolutely AMAZING wedding photos

    I will truly never get over how AMAZING it was to use NOVA photos for our wedding day. I couldn’t think of anyone better to use for pictures. We were so lucky to have Maks and Gemma join us on our special day. Our guests and families loved getting to know them and their fun personalities. They captured every single moment and were extremely flexible when needed. On top of how amazing they were — we received all of our photos less than one month after the wedding!!! INSANE!!! Every single photo was absolutely beautiful. They were able to get all of the moments from the special ones to the funny ones. I love how they don’t use filters, every picture looked natural and just all around stunning. 10000/10 I recommend using NOVA photos. You will get the best experience!!

    Lindsay & Sean: February 21, 2026 Wedding

    I cannot say enough great things about Nova Photos. We enlisted a team for Photo, Video AND Photobooth services for our wedding and the entire team went above and beyond to help make our day unforgettable. Van was our main point of contact from the start (and, ended up being our photo booth operator at our reception) and he was nothing short of professional and helpful. He was always very quick to respond and made himself available for all our questions. He was also flexible throughout the entire planning/prep process, working with us as we got closer to the big day, helping to ensure everything worked out as we were envisioning :) I was so glad Van was the one operating the photo booth so we could meet in person! The booth was an ABSOLUTE hit at the wedding and Van engaged with all our guests helping them feel comfortable and getting some REALLY fun shots! Maks (photographer) and Hannan (videographer) were our photo/video dynamic duo and they were AMAZING!! They both spoke with us multiple times leading up to the wedding, helping prepare us for what to expect day of and working to ensure we were building a schedule for the day that would allow for ALL the moments we wanted to capture. Of course, as is life, day of our schedule got derailed a few time throughout... but Maks and Hannan remained professional and flexible- adapting accordingly throughout! Maks and Hannan went FAR above and beyond their core responsibilities. They helped us figure out a route for our Wedding Party trolly and group shots, they found opportunities to ensure my Husband and I were able to get pictures with every one at the wedding AND (most of all) they brought energy and excitement that kept our wedding party GOING. They were fun and funny, which just made the whole day that much better. Maks was the one who actually bustled my dress after the ceremony and Maks Hannan were the ones who got us into the reception space early for a preview (vs our wedding coordinator who was supposed to) - capturing photo/video along the way. They really just made the most of every moment, listened and got EVERY important shot that Sean and I wanted and just overall helped make our day absolutely magical. 10/10 recommend- their prices are fair and the whole team at Nova Photos are just absolute professionals and just all around cool people!

    The Last Thing You Have To Worry About!

    We worked with Nova Photos for our February 2026 wedding photography and video needs, and honestly, Maks and Florin were incredible! From the start, they were so organized, upbeat, and easy to be around. They helped structure the whole day and took care of all the shot planning so we didn’t have to stress or overthink anything.
