Nova Photos

Nova Photos is a wedding photography, videography, and photo booth studio in Chicago, IL. We're a multicultural, multilingual, LGBTQ-friendly, photographer/employee-owned studio dedicated to documenting the most memorable moments of your wedding day! Collectively, we have captured over 10,000 weddings. At Nova Photos, we work with our clients every step of the way. The team provides comprehensive support with planning locations, setting up permits, and creating a timeline that works for them and their other vendors. Every couple deserves more than just memories; they deserve a timeless keepsake that captures the essence of their love story!

We offer affordable high quality photography, videography and photo booth services! Each of our packages includes the digital copies so that our clients own their photos and they can do whatever they want with them! We offer reasonably priced prints as well! We are experienced in capturing every type of religious ceremony!

    Amazing company to work with

    We had such a smooth experience working with Nova Photos from start to finish. Van, the photography coordinator, made everything easy by answering our questions right away and keeping us in the loop at every step. On the day of our wedding, Widlet was a real pro who helped us figure out poses when we felt awkward in front of the camera. He rolled with the punches when we decided we wanted more family photos than we originally planned, without making it a big deal. The whole experience was relaxed and fun, and we couldn't stop laughing throughout the shoot. We would definitely recommend Nova Photos to any couple looking for photographers who are easy to work with.

    The best photographer you could get.

    To say i was thrilled with the service Van and Maks provided is an understatement. Van answered all my emails in a timely matter and set realistic expectations. Maks was absolutely fantastic. His level of skill and experience showed throughout the entire event. Not only was he extremely kind, high energy and he was genuinely great to be around. The night went incredibly fast- but in the videos sent to me from friends i could see him capturing those moments i was hoping he did. If your lucky enough to have Maks as your photographer just know you are in great hands. He absolutely has the bride and grooms best interests at heart and I could not have asked for a better photographer.

    Wedding Photos

    Nova was great to work with for our wedding! They are reasonably priced and easy to communicate with. Our photographer Carey was excellent. He was enthusiastic, friendly, and skilled, and we love how our photos turned out.

    OMG go with NOVA!

    NOVA is hands down the best. From when we reached out for information to the wedding day, NOVA was our favorite vendor. They were great to work with and they made our entire wedding day a breeze and so much fun! Carey was great with me and my groomsmen before the wedding and Gemma was fantastic with the bride & bridesmaids and at our ceremony. We had so much fun during our private shoot that our guests were wondering what happened to us. We would 100% look to NOVA for an event in the future!

    Highly Recommend

    I was nervous about posing for our wedding photos, but Maks and Florin from Nova Photos put us at ease right away with their clear instructions. From our first conversation, they kept us informed every step of the way and responded quickly to our questions. Their pricing was reasonable, which made choosing them an easy decision for our budget. On the day of our wedding, they directed us through each shot with confidence, and we felt comfortable in front of the camera because of their guidance. We'd absolutely recommend Nova Photos to any couple, or event host, looking for talented photographers who won't break the bank.

Typically, couples book us about 12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
Yes, absolutely! Our video services range in price depending on the amount of coverage you need.
Photos take at most 4 weeks to be edited and made available for viewing whereas video takes no more than 4 months to be completed!
We do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
