    Pedro and his team at Albany Capture exceeded EVERY expectation we had. From the very beginning, they made us feel comfortable, relaxed, and truly cared about making our day special. They captured every important moment so naturally, and the photos turned out even more beautiful than we could have imagined. Not only is their talent behind the camera incredible, but they were also professional, organized, and such a positive presence throughout the day.     Reliable hire!

    Great Photography & Videography Team!!

    Working with Pedro and his team at Albany Capture Film & Photography Studios was a game-changer for our wedding. From the moment we booked them for our engagement session and saw those photos, we knew we made the right choice. After the engagement session, we ended up hiring Pedro for all of our bridal events! The bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, and full 12-hour wedding day, we had Pedro and his team there for them all! Pedro and the entire team showed up ready to work hard and have fun—they were smiling the whole time, even after 12 hours on their feet. The second photographer was especially great at making my husband and his groomsmen feel at ease during their getting-ready photos. We also hired a videographer and content creator through Albany Capture and our experience with them was also great! We have not seen the video yet, but I was sent hundreds of little videos from the content creator just 2 days after the wedding along with 2 recap videos. If anyone is on the fence about hiring a content creator, just do it!!! Its the best way to see content quickly while you are still on the wedding high. We so enjoyed watching the videos while on our mini moon. What really impressed us was how quickly Pedro turned around a handful of sneak peek photos just days after the wedding, and they're absolutely stunning. Pedro was just really great throughout the entire process and I am so glad we hired him. We can't wait to see the rest of the photos and would definitely recommend them to any couple looking for photographers who are responsive, professional, and genuinely fun to be around.

    Phenomenal photographer!

    As the wedding planner and coordinator, I recently had the pleasure of working with Pedro and his team during a two-day wedding celebration that included both a Mehndi and wedding day, and they were absolutely fantastic from beginning to end! Not only were they professional, organized, and easy to work with, but they also brought great energy and flexibility throughout the weekend. Throughout both days, I observed them capturing not just the big posed moments, but also the candid, in-between moments including the laughter, emotions, and little interactions between the couple, their families, and friends. One of my favorite moments was collaborating with Pedro to pull off a surprise second photo shoot location for the couple. They had really hoped to visit the Chicago Art Institute after the wedding party and family photos at the Board of Trade, but we didn't think the timeline would allow for it. Pedro and I put our heads together, made a few adjustments, and managed to make it happen without them knowing. Seeing their excitement when they realized where we were headed was awesome. I've only seen a handful of photos so far, but they are absolutely stunning, and I can't wait to see the full gallery! Pedro and his team are incredibly talented, genuinely care about their couples, and are a joy to work alongside. I would absolutely recommend them, and would love the opportunity to work with them again!

As your wedding photographer, I'll guide you through organizational tips, timing for photos, and light management. I enjoy receiving previews of your attire, shoes, and invites to help me plan. I use a Nikon Z7 II mirrorless and a Nikon D780, each with specific lenses for versatility. I prefer natural light but use a Godox V1 flash and a strobe for darker scenarios. My editing involves Adobe Lightroom and Photo Mechanic, using unique presets for my style. On your day, I aim to capture emotions, both serene and lively moments, and unique wedding features.
Within a timeframe of a maximum of 4 weeks (and occasionally even sooner, depending on the season of the photoshoot), you will receive an exclusive online gallery link containing all the captivating moments captured during our time together. This gallery offers you the freedom to not only download all the photos but also to share them with your loved ones. Take the opportunity to handpick your personal favorites and, if you desire, order professional prints to cherish these precious memories in tangible form!

To ensure that we can be a part of your special day, I recommend booking as early as possible. Typically, couples reserve our services around 10-12 months before their wedding date to secure their preferred date. However, don't worry if your planning timeframe is shorter; I encourage you to reach out about my availability regardless.
Absolutely! Your peace of mind is essential to us, and we want you to know that we are fully insured. If your venue requires a certificate of liability, just let us know, and we'll promptly send that over to them. We are proud to be insured by the Professional Photographers of America, which covers various aspects, including bodily injury and property liability whether we're at our studio or on location. It also includes coverage for any real or alleged faults in our work that might result in bodily injury or property damage, as well as liability for personal and advertising injury.
In my 12 years as a wedding photographer, I've been fortunate enough to never have to cancel a booking. That said, I understand that life can be unpredictable, and it's important to have a contingency plan in place for every scenario. In the very rare case that I'm unable to photograph your wedding, I want you to know that I've got you covered. I have a team of highly skilled colleagues and a contracted assistant, who have been working with me for years, and understand my style and approach. They would be ready and able to step in to photograph your wedding, ensuring you don't miss capturing a single special moment.
Depending on the size and scale of your wedding, I might come accompanied by one or more assistant photographers. Within our team, we have four dedicated in-house photographers and a pair of skilled videographers, ready to capture every precious moment of your special day.
