Form & Flower
Rating: 5.0 (4 reviews)
  • Starts at $7,000
  • Serves San Francisco, CA

My name is Linzy and I am a floral designer and architect based in San Francisco, California. Form & Flower was founded after many late nights and early mornings spent creating floral designs based upon the principles of architecture and a love for the natural environment that I cherish - form, movement, negative space, balance, color theory, and attention to detail. I love to apply these guidelines to my designs while creating intentional, modern, and whimsical forms that playfully color outside of the lines of normalcy and bring you joy.

Awarded Best of Zola
Linzy absolutely killed it at our wedding at The Sea Ranch Lodge. She took my vision and made it even more beautiful. So many of our guests mentioned how incredible and uniquely us the florals were. THANK YOU!

Fleurish with Flowers
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
San Francisco, CA
  • Starts at $5,000

Maria is a former public school administrator who has turned a longstanding love of service, flowers, and color into a thriving wedding floral business. Our story began in 2020 during the pandemic, when we crafted and gave away flower arrangements to brighten homebound community members' days. As things began to open and weddings were rescheduled, we started getting requests for City Hall weddings, micro-weddings, and engagement celebrations. From there, we designed displays for larger weddings and non-profit events. The rest is history!

Awarded Best of Zola
Maria prepared beautiful center pieces for our son's pre-wedding reception. She delivered them timely and made sure everything was set up beautifully. She was very professional and responsive to figuring out what I wanted and for offering ideas to what would look nice for the event. The arrangement were so pretty!! I would highly recommend her services.

Flower Icon
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
San Francisco, CA
  • Starts at $500

Flower Icon is a San Francisco-based luxury floral studio specializing in modern, sculptural arrangements for weddings and events. Known for bold color palettes and refined design, we create custom bouquets and installations using fresh, seasonal blooms. Serving the Bay Area and beyond, we bring an elevated, artful approach to every celebration.

Flower Icon team took care of our engagement party, which was in San Francisco. I would hire them in a heartbeat for our wedding, but our wedding was held in Charlotte, and the team is only servicing the Bay Area. Our engagement party had really amazing purple and light green decor, was perfect the spring vibe and the rental location we had. The stairs work they did was truly incredible, it looked like a dream/AI perfect decor. I know this studio is new in San Francisco, but they have a tone of experience in the floral design, as they worked in Europe before. I would highly recommend trusting them any of your pre-wedding/wedding events. They are extremely easy to work with, thoughtful and really produce picture perfect floral decorations.

Green Petal Designs
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
San Francisco, CA
  • Starts at $175 per arrangement

Green Petal Designs is a San Francisco based floral and event design studio. We bring natural, beautiful and inspired flowers to every wedding or special event. Flowers really help make an event special. We try to work with you to create an experience special to you.

Green petal designs did an AMAZING job at our wedding this past November 2023. Janelle helped bring our vision to life and really made everything so so magical. My bouquet was beyond what I could have ever imagined! Her team helped repurpose flowers from our ceremony for the reception, which was a huge money saver for us. We'd use GPD again and again if ever given the chance to host another event as such. Another really really cool aspect of GPD, is that after the wedding they donated the flowers to a retirement home so that the beautiful florals could be loved on and appreciated past just our wedding. 10/10 would recommend for wedding or special event!!

Nancy Liu Chin Floral & Event Design
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
  • Serves San Francisco, CA

Before creating NLC Designs, Nancy was actually a weekend wedding warrior (one of those passionate souls who loved planning weddings for friends while holding a corporate job). Though she collected Martha Stewart Wedding issues, clipped out floral images from magazines, it wasn't really until after her own wedding to renowned San Francisco wedding photographer, Kevin Chin, that Nancy seriously decided to give the wedding business her full attention. Once she knew she wanted to do something with her hands, she worked a summer for respected calligrapher Michelle Papineau and later began apprenticing with floral guru Pico Soriano.

Creative- Inspiring- Floral Genius These are a few words to capture the beauty of what Nancy Liu Chin brings to each of her events. She raises the bar of excellence in hearing, designing and creating unique florals for each bride.

Empress Floral Co
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
San Francisco, CA
  • Starts at $5,000

Empress Floral Co. is a San Francisco-based wedding and event floral design studio. The name comes from the Empress tarot card, which stands for abundance, beauty, and the nurturing power of nature. These values inspire everything I do, both in life and in my work. What makes Empress Floral Co. special is a strong commitment to sustainability and supporting local flower farmers. Every bouquet, arrangement, and installation is carefully crafted with 100% sustainable materials. My goal is to celebrate nature’s beauty while also caring for the planet.

A friend recommended Empress Floral to help me put together an arrangement for our anniversary. Katie mentioned that she doesn’t typically take on single-arrangement orders since she’s focused on weddings and events, but she kindly offered to create something using the flowers she had on hand. When she delivered it, my wife and I were stunned. My wife even got flustered and joked, “Where was Empress when we chose our wedding florist? Our wedding would’ve looked so much better!” I’m so glad I gave Katie full creative freedom. The arrangement was beyond anything I imagined. If you’re planning a wedding or event, I highly recommend reaching out to Empress. Truly the best in the Bay Area!

Nuna Flowers
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
San Francisco, CA
  • Starts at $2,000

I started helping my sister with weddings and other events and with her love and support started my own business. I love being apart of a couples special day; creating beautiful bouquets and centerpieces that reflects each couples style. My style is classic, modern and whimsical.

Nuna Flowers was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From our first conversation, Dana listened closely to our thoughts and asked thoughtful questions to understand our style and preferences. He was incredibly responsive throughout the planning process, always getting back to us promptly and providing helpful guidance when we weren't quite sure what we wanted. When it came to the flowers, we simply told Dana we wanted elegant, white blooms and trusted his expertise - and he delivered beyond our wildest expectations. The bouquet he created was the star of our simple, intimate ceremony, with a subtle elegance that was just right for us. We couldn't have asked for a better florist to bring our vision to life, and we're so grateful to Dana and the Nuna Flowers team for helping to make our special day even more beautiful.

Ochun Studio. Floral Design And Event Decor
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
San Francisco, CA

Yanitsel's passion for flowers, weddings and events started when she was just 16 years old. While getting her degree in Hospitality, she joined her family's event design company in Cuba, designing intimate and large events for almost ten years. After relocating to San Francisco in 2013, she started her own Floral and Event Design company to continue living her dream of bringing her clients' visions to life. Before opening Ochun Studio, Yanitsel got certified as an Advanced Floral designer in Portland, Oregon and as a Wedding and Event Designer from IWED.

There are no words that can describe Yanitsel. Perhaps my wedding angel? She was such a joy to work with. When I first reached out to her, she went above and beyond the other florists I was considering because she went to visit the reception venue so she can have an idea of what would look nice before our phone consultation. From there I was hooked. She had such great vision with new design ideas to make my wedding so magical, elegant and unique. Hiring Yanitsel was the best decision I made for my wedding. She was EXTREMELY respectful of my budget, and was incredibly easy to work with. I am the type of person who really enjoys design, so Yanitsel involved me with every detail, and provided me with recommendations when I couldn't make my mind. She has an amazing design eye. Not only does she do flowers, but she also coordinates curtains, candles, table numbers, table cloths etc...you name it and she does it. Additionally she has a lovely software that gives you an idea of how the look of the reception room would look like. Which is amazing to make decisions. Another thing i LOVED about Yanitsel is that she literally measures the distances between the tables to make sure everything is perfect and symmetrical. This is quality work, and Yanitsel produces the best quality for a wedding. The day of the wedding I didn't know what to expect, but Yanitsel came to my suite and handed me all our personal flowers - it was the best cascade orchid wedding bouquet I have ever seen - better than what I had imagined. All the details from the personals to the ceremony was so amazing. What was the cherry on top was walking into the wedding reception venue. It was as if we were transported to another world of elegance and glamor. Yanitsel turned the reception room into a spectacular vision. My guests were so enamored and I received so many compliments for her design. My MOH also knew how much I loved Yanitsel that she mentioned her in her speech! Well worth the shout out. Overall Yanitsel is the best - if you want to have an amazing wedding with beautiful morals and ambiance, you have chosen the right person. I was sad my wedding was over just because I would miss all my detailed and long design emails with Yanitsel. Sounds crazy but I swear she made it so fun <3 Love her. Amazing.

    Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
    San Francisco, CA

Ava is also classically trained in traditional European design as well. Our team would be delighted to be part of your day!

Ava did the flowers for my wedding and they were absolutely gorgeous! She asked me questions about the style and colors I was going for so the flowers would fit the vibe. I didn't wear white and she used colors from my dress to build my bouquet which was absolutely stunning and had so much texture. She was attentive and professional and the design was spot on.

The centerpiece and bouquets in the attached photos are from the Wren collection. The customer service at Something Borrowed Blooms is also highly responsive and helpful. Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
    Rating: 4.9 (94 reviews)
    • Starts at $350
    • Serves San Francisco, CA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

    Awarded Best of Zola
We had an amazingly positive experience working with Flower Moxie for my daughter’s July wedding. We placed our order in February using their “How Much Should I Buy” worksheet as a guide. Their website is filled with images and videos to help you make your choices. We went with the Sweet Wildflower bridal bouquet and 4 bridesmaid bouquets and then ordered a Build Your Own Wildflower Mixed Box and Build Your Own Spray Rose Mixed Box to DIY bud vases all for just over 900! In June we decided we wanted more bud vases for our dining tables than we had originally planned to have. I spoke with Maria who helped me add more of what I’d order to meet my needs. Cost was about 150. Not knowing really what to expect, I added 4 premade centerpieces just to have which cost 280. This was SO much more cost effective than trying to work with local florists or deal with wooden flower options. The only issue we had was a UPS issue. The flowers were coming directly from a farm in Ecuador and tracking numbers showed they were held up in Miami waiting for government release. Once released, we were able to see their travels. The flower boxes ended up being delayed by 1 day. The flowers should have arrived on a Thursday for a Sunday wedding. Delivery moved to Friday. Every worried email I sent was responded to immediately by Flower Moxie. They were tracking my order, too, and were on top of it. Once they arrived, we followed the specific directions the company sends out. I have photos of the stages of hydration, watching the blooms get more and more gorgeous as the hours passed. The bridal party put the 72 bud vases together on Saturday in the hotel conference room near the wedding venue. The bridal bouquets were perfect needing nothing but trimming of the stems and wrapping stems with ribbon we had purchased. I would highly recommend working with Flower Moxie, especially if you are looking to support small business, enjoy having the option to be a little hands on (though you don’t have to choose this option), and want to save on the cost of your florals. I plan to use them in the future if the need arises.

Poppy Flowers was a great choice for our small wedding. Their twilight template was exactly the color palette I was looking for and they had options for everything I needed at an affordable price (in comparison to other Washington DC florists). I was very happy with the quality of the flowers and the set-up process.

    • Starts at $175
    • Serves San Francisco, CA

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

    Awarded Best of Zola
Holy moly!! Working with Brittany at The Faux Bouquets was a breeze, and our flowers looked remarkable -- and real! Nobody even believed me that the flowers were silk because they looked so legit. I would highly recommend her for any future events. And the best part is that we were able to repurpose the flowers seamlessly from ceremony to reception!

Besides designing for you, I also offer DIY Wood Flower Experiences to create your wedding florals alongside me in person or virtually and 1:1 sessions to help DIY brides learn to do it themselves.

    Awarded Best of Zola
I was so grateful to have found Jen while going through our flower-picking-process. We got a quote for real flowers to start and it was way out of our budget. When we started looking for 'fake' flowers, I knew I wanted them to look as real as possible. I must have looked at 10 different vendors across CT and MA, and as soon as I saw Wood & Word Blooms website I was sold! Her bouquets are one of a kind, each and every piece was perfect for our wedding. She was so supportive and helpful in the color picking process, I changed my mind a few times but she never batted an eye. She got us to the finish line and we couldn't be happier. If you're on the fence, just go with Jen!
