Loes Takes Clips
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $1,000
  • Serves Pleasanton, CA

I'm a photographer who loves, love and being able to share that through my lens is what drives everything I do. I have a deep adoration for storytelling and capturing the authentic, unscripted moments that matter most. I believe every love story is unique, and my goal is to bring excitement, ease, and a calming presence to your most important day. With a passion for preserving real emotions and meaningful memories, I aim to capture photographs that you'll cherish for a lifetime.

Logan has been a good friend of mine for years, so asking her to photograph our engagement shoot was a no-brainer for me. Her natural ability to bring any vision to life, mixed with her unwavering work ethic, is what sets her apart. I can tell her one idea I have, and she will effortlessly create something better than I could have ever imagined. We have a 1965 Corvette in our family that I thought would be cool to use as part of our shoot. I trusted her to tell us where and how we could incorporate it, and she brought our vision to life. She goes above and beyond, even standing in the middle of the road in Carmel-by-the-Sea as cars try to pass, to bring that vision to life. Also, we are far from naturals in front of the camera. I always rely on Logan to give us ideas for how to create movement and relax. Working with someone so kind and able to make you feel comfortable is crucial, because it not only creates an outcome you will love, but you will have fun doing so as well.

Enea and Hailey were fantastic to work with!! I was extremely happy with how our engagement photos turned out. On our wedding day, they were prompt and ready to go. Hailey remembered all the specific shots that I wanted to get and was flexible with timing and getting extra shots that the family requested. The pictures are absolutely stunning. The video was just as incredible. The shots they got, the audio, the music, was all edited so beautifully. I have received so many compliments on how amazing the video and pictures turned out. They captured every aspect of our day that I hoped for and then some. I would recommend them to everyone :)

Hey, I'm Marisa! I work with couples to help capture their dream wedding day! Most days you can find me drinking coffee in front of my computer editing the day away. If I’m not home in the SF Bay Area, I’m most likely in the Sierras or at a session off the grid. Outdoor adventures light up my soul! I basically live out of a duffle bag. In my free time you can find me drinking wine with friends, maybe on a run, laying around with my dog, near a lake or finding the best tacos.

We could not imagine working with any other photographer for our wedding! From our first video meeting to touch base, to our engagement shoot, and ultimately our wedding day, Marisa collaborated with us and other vendors with so much grace and a great sense of humor. She communicates clearly and punctually. We were particularly impressed with how she was able to wrangle our large families and get group photos together with confidence, but also captured the small, intimate moments so perfectly. We will forever cherish the photos that perfectly encapsulate the best day of our lives. Thank you so much, Marisa!

We not only worked with Natalie for our wedding, but also for our engagement shoot and our mini-ceremony a few months before the wedding, so we felt like we really got to know her and her shooting style. She's very kind and flexible about her vision and yours and is more than willing to work together with you to make your dream photos a reality. We chose her because we loved her photography style and her general demeanor during our first meeting with her. We liked that her photos remain true to color, with a little softening but not too much! Her direction for positioning was super helpful and felt natural. She was very accommodating of all requests, which made us feel heard and we love all of our photos! We had not planned to work with Pedro as well for our wedding, but extenuating circumstances meant he was with Natalie day-of. He's also very kind and accommodating and together they make a really great team! We would love to use them for any future photoshoots.

Katherine was amazing to work with! She shot both our engagement and city hall photos and we could not have asked for a better partner. She was super patient with us and gave us great direction since we were both a little awkward in front of the camera. She always came prepared and made sure at City Hall she was able to get great shots from all the key places we had discussed. Bonus points, our parents loved the experience and the pictures!

Thomas is the most amazing photographer/artist/ just coolest human. From the start, their communication was efficient, friendly, and incredibly organized. He's not just a wedding photographer, he's a true artist and his professional work is simply perfect. He knew exactly where to shoot and how to use the lighting to capture all the best moments. One of my favorite things about our wedding was getting to know Thomas and seeing his magical work in real time. He's also so good at improvising at time of stress and I honestly don't know how he does it. The number one compliment we kept getting from our guests/family was how amazing our photographer was - so many people raved about him and he was easily our favorite vendor. Everyone was still talking about him long after the wedding was over. Thomas you are amazing. Thank you so much for making our magical day even more magical.

Kin Photography was truly the perfect choice for our wedding, and we feel so grateful to have had them capture our day. From the very beginning, their communication style stood out—they were warm, welcoming, and incredibly responsive. Every question we had was answered with patience and clarity, and they made us feel completely at ease throughout the planning process. It felt less like working with a vendor and more like working with a trusted friend who genuinely cared about our experience. On the wedding day, Kin Photography exceeded every expectation. The quality of their work was simply breathtaking—every photo was beautifully composed, with flattering angles that highlighted not just how we looked, but how we felt. They managed to capture the joy, laughter, and emotion of the day in a way that still moves us when we look back at the images. What amazed us most was how they seemed to be everywhere at once, catching every little detail and candid moment without ever feeling intrusive. They went above and beyond in so many ways, even staying later than scheduled to ensure they didn’t miss a single shot. That kind of dedication speaks volumes about their professionalism and passion for what they do. From intimate portraits of us as a couple to heartfelt photos of our family and friends, Kin Photography gave us a collection of memories that we’ll treasure forever. Beyond the photos themselves, they made the entire process comfortable and fun. We never felt awkward in front of the camera—in fact, they made us feel beautiful and confident, which is such a gift on a day when emotions are running high. And then, as if all of that weren’t enough, we were surprised with a custom USB drive containing our photos. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected touch, and it made receiving our images feel even more special. Looking back, we can honestly say that Kin Photography contributed so much to making our wedding day unforgettable. Their talent, kindness, and genuine care shone through in every interaction and every photo. We couldn’t recommend them more highly to any couple searching for a photographer who will not only deliver stunning images but also make the entire experience joyful and seamless.

I believe love is love and happily photograph couples of all backgrounds, orientations, religions and gender expressions. I aim to create authentic and emotive images for my clients and edit true to color so the work will be timeless. My personality is friendly and warm, which helps make my couples feel at ease and open up in front of the camera. I donate $100 from every wedding day package to a non profit organization (either the ACLU, End the Backlog or the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation) because I believe paying it forward in honor of love is an excellent first step into marriage.

Awarded Best of Zola
Jenna was recommended to us by another photographer and it was such a pleasure to work with her! We greatly appreciated how much she wanted to know us and our personalities in advance of our wedding day. We ended every zoom call or email exchange feeling confident in our decision to work with her. The weather on our wedding day wasn’t very cooperative, but Jenna and team were on the lookout for any break in the rain so that we could go up to the roof and get a few pictures. And she totally nailed them—they are some of our favorite pictures from the day. Jenna and team made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera and also captured some incredible candids. If you’re looking for a fun, positive, and easy-to-work with photographer—Jenna is the right pick!

I’m Cherlyn (rhymes with Berlin). So nice to e-meet you! If we met in person and it wasn’t during a pandemic- I would probably hug you! I’m an introvert-extrovert and tend to ramble too much when I get nervous. In emails - I tend to use exclamation points a lot!! (and will agonize over my drafts of emails before sending them because they probably have one too many!!) My aim as your photographer is to provide a memorable experience where you two feel comfortable, taken care of, and get to fully enjoy your wedding day as much as possible with all your guests & loved ones - whether they be in real life or via livestream!

Awarded Best of Zola
Cherlyn captured our elopement in November 2024 at Timber Cove Inn. Since this was a second wedding for both of us, and was very small (just us and our kids) we wanted to keep things simple, focusing on the beauty of the landscape with a simple, sweet ceremony. Cherlyn absolutely nailed it - she captured the vibe we were going for perfectly and the photos are absolutely stunning! I could not be happier with the photos and the experience as a whole. She made us so comfortable and that led to great photos where we look at ease, which is just how we felt.

Hannah Berglund Photography
Rating: 5.0 (8 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style

  • Serves Pleasanton, CA

I'm Hannah, a full time wedding and portrait photographer in Livermore, California. To me, photography is so much more than just hiring another vendor. And that's why you should choose someone you truly love to work with! I believe the real magic happens during the in-between moments – a secret smile shared by the parents; a tearful hug with the maid of honor; a quirky moment with the best man. These memories are far more precious than any staged photo, and these are the memories I want to capture for you on your big day.

Awarded Best of Zola
Picking a wedding photographer is likely the most challenging vendor, many of your wedding memories are in their hands. My husband and I Zoom-interviewed countless photographers and we immediately cancelled every other interview / photographer hold after getting off our call with Hannah. Even over video, we felt like old friends. Throughout the wedding preparation process, we met and took photos with Hannah to get to know each other in person. We had a great time hanging out, making jokes, and all the while, getting outstanding "engagement" photos (we had already sent out a save-the-date). Hannah was also an expert at wrangling our pup, who loved to sniff and ignore the camera. Leading up to our wedding, she shared really helpful tools, which assisted us in outlining our wedding day and advising other vendors. Hannah checked in on us and regularly met with us over Zoom to make sure we were all on track. Unlike some of our other prep calls, we really looked forward to our prep sessions with Hannah. The day of our wedding, Hannah went out of her way to make it a success. When our florist insisted on delivering flowers later, Hannah picked up an extra bouquet to photograph with our details. She has an impressive wedding industry history, so she actually knew one of our vendors already and despite meeting the rest of the first time, she seamlessly flowed with all of them. She immediatley went to work with our wedding coordinator, but also adding to the camraderie and fun of "getting ready". She even advised and dealt with our very challenging videographer, who consistently got in her way. I can't imagine having anyone else so intimately involved with our wedding day as Hannah. I was looking forward to 1:1 moments with my husband the most, and Hannah made sure to prioritize those moments for us, capturing every ounce of excitement and bliss. Those moments are my most treasured of the day, and I actually really enjoyed having her there for them, because she is such a special person (and now friend)! She knows exactly how to handle anything thrown at her on wedding day. I can't recommend Hannah enough for your wedding experience. If you're looking for a truly special memory of your day, you will not only come out with hundreds of incredible photos, but you'll leave with a great new friend.

Not only is she excellent on wedding day but she's responsive and organized leading up to it. I'm Vanessa — Bay Area born and raised, obsessed with capturing the moments that matter most. When I'm not behind the camera you'll find me testing new recipes, catching up with friends over a dirty martini, or cruising with country music turned all the way up. The grandfather wiping a tear during the first dance. I specialize in wine country weddings throughout Livermore, Napa, and Sonoma — images that feel effortless and completely yours.

We are so happy we had the opportunity to have Vanessa capture our special day! The quality of her work is exceptional, with beautiful colors and candid moments filled with love. Hi, I’m Hayden! With over 300 weddings captured, I take a journalistic approach to photography, documenting authentic moments as they naturally unfold. I shoot with both film and digital to create timeless, heartfelt images that tell your unique love story. With a go-with-the-flow mentality, I will capture moments as they come and turn them into beautiful memories.

Words cannot explain how fantastic Hayden is! His professionalism, positive attitude, and work blew me away! He took wedding photos for me and my husband. The photographer came recommended by our wedding venue, and everything turned out perfect. Our photography package included 2 locations prior to the ceremony/reception venue. Hayden met us at our house to take photos of us getting ready. I did not prepare a list of specific photos I wanted, but Hayden was prepared. He got all the “standard” photos (getting dressed, getting hair/makeup, etc), giving me direction (which I needed as I can be awkward and camera shy). But he was also so excited to try some different shots based on the set up of our housing. We stepped outside to take first look photos… and it was cold, rainy, and windy. Hayden did not bat at eye! He was such a good sport about being in the horrible weather. Then he met us at another location to take more photos in the cold rain and wind. Finally, we made it to the venue. I loved that some photos were candidate, that I was given direction for some photos, and that I was able to bring some ideas that were executed perfectly! He was flexible and accommodating and willing to take creative photos! The photos came out amazing! I would not change a thing!

I'm a passionate photographer who finds joy in collaborating with creative minds to capture extraordinary moments. By day, I channel my expertise into high-quality construction work, while my artistic pursuits in photography allow me to explore my creativity and connect with others on a profound level.

From start to finish, working with Will was so refreshing. Not only is he incredibly talented, but he also has a truly artistic eye that brings every photo to life. Every single image he delivered was stunning, beautifully composed, full of emotion, and captured with such an authentic feel. What really stood out to us was how effortless and seamless the entire photography process felt. Will has this calm and warm energy that instantly put us (and everyone else) at ease. During the bridesmaids' photoshoot, he created such a fun, relaxed atmosphere - it honestly felt more like hanging out with a friend than posing for pictures! He encouraged us to be ourselves, let loose, and enjoy the moment, and the result was a set of natural, joyful, and candid shots that we’ll cherish forever. It felt like Will was genuinely part of the celebration — laughing with us, hyping us up - you could tell he genuinely loves what he does and was fully present with us in the moment. His enthusiasm was infectious, and it felt like he was celebrating right alongside us, which made the whole experience even more special. He was also incredibly patient and professional throughout the day. Never once did we feel rushed or staged, he took his time to get the right shots while making sure we stayed present and enjoyed the experience. I genuinely cannot recommend Will enough. His talent speaks for itself, but it’s his personality, passion, and dedication that make him truly exceptional. If you’re looking for someone who will not only take beautiful photos but also enhance your wedding day experience, Will is 100% the one. We’d recommend him a million times over!

She was a pleasure to have around, and we even spotted her out on the dance floor with us, capturing all the fun moments. The guests and I loved having her there to document our special day. We are thrilled with the results and would highly recommend J. Lee Photography to any couple looking for a talented, personable photographer.

My name is Connie and I have been shooting weddings and portraits for over 15years. The goal for me is to give my client an heirloom of their wedding day to pass down to generations to come. As a young kid, I remember staring at my parents black and white wedding photos for a long time. It captivated me. I am very lucky to have those memories and that is what I want for my clients. I love capturing beautiful imagery through posing, beautiful light and when there isn't light, I like to create it. I can be a goof ball capturing the unexpected filled laughter. Come look at my work, and hopefully we can connect.

Would highly recommend Connie to anyone I know that will have a wedding. She was very fun and is flexible of where you want photos taken. Her prices are definitely fair! Will never forget Connie for what she did for us at wedding.

Carrie is a wonderful photographer and person! We booked her to take our engagement and wedding photos and we were very happy with the results. Neither of us love getting our photo taken but she made the whole process easy and comfortable. She recommend a bunch of beautiful locations for our engagement shoot that were in our area and worked around our schedule. Our wedding photos were great (even got some with us and our dogs) and she got lots of amazing shots of our guests enjoying themselves. We highly recommend booking Carrie for your special day! Professional, efficient, and a wizard behind the lens. Thanks, Carrie - W&J

At JB photography, we are storytellers and artists who believe in the power of love, connection, and creativity. Our journey began on instagram, where two passionate photographers met, bonded over our shared love for capturing life’s beauty and ultimately fell in love with both each other and the art of photography.

JB Photography did an absolutely incredible job capturing our wedding day. They took our dark and moody vision and brought it to life perfectly — every photo is breathtaking. We’re completely obsessed with how everything turned out! I’ve already recommended them to friends and family, and we won’t be using anyone else for our future photography needs.
