By day, I channel my expertise into high-quality construction work, while my artistic pursuits in photography allow me to explore my creativity and connect with others on a profound level.

Through my sessions, my main goal is for the couple to be in the moment, enjoy being in each others company, and not feel the pressure that alot of photographers seem to apply these days. My expertise in shooting film, choosing film stocks that cater to your special day, and weaving that in with a full digital gallery is one of my favorite things. Developing locally in the bay area, youll never see me slapping a film filter on a photo and calling it a day. I take great pride in what i shoot and how i shoot it

    We hired two photographers and Will far surpassed the other guy. He has an extremely warm and gregarious communication style that instantly put our entire bridal party at ease. He even helped set an upbeat and joyful atmosphere throughout our wedding day, cracking jokes and engaging everyone with his infectious energy. At one point he was working the whole crowd for a group photo of 100 guests! More importantly, the photos... In contrast to our other, more expensive photographer who didn't even bother to properly edit our photos, Will's work was nothing short of exceptional. His creative and nostalgic style resulted in timeless, beautifully curated images that perfectly captured the love and spirit of our special day. Rather than overwhelming us with thousands of generic, filtered photos (like the other photographer we hired, who was pricier and will go unnamed), Will hand-selected 200 stunning shots that we will cherish forever. We are beyond thrilled with the value and quality of Van Holten Photography, and cannot recommend them highly enough.

    Will was a dream to work with! He was very communicative and responsive in the planning process. He took time to work with our coordinator and offer input on setup. We felt very comfortable shooting with him throughout the whole day and the film photos were to die for.
