Lindsay has been in the events industry for years and has overseen hundreds of successful events. Her attention to detail and ability to handle any situation that arises with grace and ease allows her couples to relax and enjoy their wedding day. Lindsay not only plans weddings for our Simply Elegant couples but also trains our entire team of planners to ensure that every Simply Elegant wedding is flawless and our client's vision is fulfilled.
We help you celebrate that love in a stress-free and present way (and we’ll even save you some money along the way.) Our mission is to help you celebrate your love in a way that you love and with stress and overwhelm. After more than fifteen years in the business, and 4,500+ weddings under our collective belt, we have become the go-to wedding planning team for couples looking for a stress-free planning experience + joyful wedding day. Think of us as advocates for your wedding vision (who happen to be the highest-level experts) who will never leave your side.

| Description | If you want an expert by your side every step of the process, choose this option. From the moment you sign with us until your marriage license is in the mail, we’ll be by your side to collaborate, make decisions, and see to it that your plans are executed perfectly down to the very last detail. | With this package, we work alongside you to best support you through the planning process. This package also includes a budget meeting, two timeline meetings, and support with the design of your wedding. In addition, we join you on your wedding day to support you for 10 hours to be certain the plans we made together go off without a hitch! | 60 days before your wedding day, we are there to walk through the details and your venue with you. We will work with you to determine your timeline-- assuring that every detail is carefully aligned for your special day. On the day of your wedding, two planners will be there to support you for 10 hours so that you can relax and be present to enjoy the moment! |

Fantastic Service!
We worked with Simply Elegant for our wedding in June and Riva was phenomenal! I genuinely don’t know what we would have done without her. She was super punctual and made sure every i was dotted and t was crossed. She kept us on track and helped us figure out aspects we hadn’t even considered. The day of, she was all over the place making sure everything ran smoothly, and it did! We had a lot of moving parts but she kept everything in line, and we received several compliments from guests on how smooth the night progressed. Thank you so much Riva! I would definitely recommend!

Perfect Day!
SEG and especially our planner, Grace Prangle, were instrumental in creating and executing the perfect day. We threw them a curveball by wanting to get married in Chicago with a five month engagement (and not being in state to plan), but everything came together perfectly and even better than we envisioned. Grace handled every request, every random idea, and every logistical issue with complete competence and professionalism. Everything came together so wonderfully and it’s all thanks to Grace!!

Worth Every Dollar!
We were skeptical about hiring a wedding planner at first, but working with The Simply Elegant Group completely changed our minds. From day one, their communication was clear and they approached our vision with genuine collaboration rather than trying to push us into a traditional mold. They recommended vendors who were truly wonderful and managed every detail with impressive organization, making sure everything ran smoothly on the day itself. What really stood out was how hard they worked behind the scenes and their creative problem-solving when we needed it. Jess is the Best!
We are so lucky to have worked with Jess throughout the planning of our wedding. She was organized, timely, responsive, and provided the perfect balance of keeping us on track while giving us space to make the decisions that were important to us. Given this was our first (and only) wedding, we had no experience working with another planner, but only after speaking with friends who had much worse experiences did we realize how lucky we were to get paired with Jess. BEST WEDDING PLANNER!!!
I can’t say enough good things about working with our wedding planner Jess through the Simply elegant group. From day one, Jess was responsive, supportive, and answered any and all questions throughout the planning process! I was very overwhelmed at the beginning of the planning process and Jess was always there to answer my questions, problem solve with me, and give us lots of ideas and knowledge about the wedding industry. She always answered emails right away with great advice and guidance! By the time the wedding came around, I felt like I could trust Jess with any and all things! She was so wonderful to build the connection with throughout our year of planning. Our wedding day was perfect and ran smoothly thanks to her and the team! My husband and I didn’t have to worry about any logistics or issues because they were ready to handle it! There also weren’t any big challenges on the day because their wedding workbook, monthly check ins, and final walk through. She was so great with our families and the wedding party too! We loved working with her and the team and would recommend to anyone and everyone!!!
