Perfect Wedding Venue and Hotel
My husband and I got married at The Kimpton Gray a few weeks ago and we can’t say enough good things about our experience. Throughout the entire process, the Kimpton Gray staff have been absolutely phenomenal, especially Mariah. She is incredibly responsive, knowledgeable and thoughtful in how she works with couples to bring their wedding vision come to life. I had a lot of questions throughout the process and Mariah was always patient and never seemed frustrated by my endless emails. She always had an answer for our questions and did whatever was in her power to make our day special. She worked seamlessly with our other vendors and I could not imagine our day without her. The Kimpton Gray hotel is a beautiful venue and our guests were amazed by the architecture of the hotel, the picturesque staircase and Vol. 39 bar, and the ability to have an open air reception in the Boleo. We also received many compliments on the food and lack of a line at our bar. The Kimpton Gray definitely knows how to cater and host a wedding. Logistics were also very easy, as the ladies got ready in the Presidential Suite, the gentlemen got ready in the Gray’s Robie room, we hosted pictures on site at the grand staircase and Vol 39 bar, and the entire ceremony and reception were in their 15th floor spaces (Adler Ballroom and Boleo Bar). We even hosted a short after party to close the night in the Vol 39 bar. Our guests stayed at the hotel with a room block which was very convenient, and The Gray even handed out welcome bags as guests checked in. We highly recommend The Kimpton Gray for a Chicago wedding because of its charm, high level of service and unique amenities.

Best Wedding EVER!!!!!
We had an absolutely INCREDIBLE wedding at the Kimpton Gray! Mariah, the events coordinator, was fabulous throughout the entire experience. From the moment we scheduled the tour, through tasting and rehearsal, all the way up to the big day, it was such a smooth experience. The hotel venue was amazing, with a perfect location for photos on-site, which took away any weather anxiety, and amazing amenities for the bridal getting ready suite and even for the groom! The spaces day of were so beautiful, we used Adler for our ceremony and dinner, and Boleo for cocktail hour and the reception. Boleo is such a fabulous unique wedding space, with a gorgeous window rooftop, it made it feel like a great night out with all our friends and family. The food and cake were INCREDIBLE, with many of our friends saying that was the best wedding food ever. And the drinks and bar staff were amazing. Cannot say enough good things about the Kimpton and Mariah and her team - but if you are looking for a venue in the loop, and want an amazing wedding, this is the one for you!!! Thank you again to the Kimpton team for making this day the best day of our lives.

Amazing location and design
We loved our wedding at the Kimpton Gray! It’s a beautiful location with a fantastic design that all of our guests were a fan of. Highly recommend including the Boleo room as part of your package. The entire hotel is wonderful for photos. Emily was great to work with and responded to any requests very quickly.

The Kimpton Gray is the perfect venue!
The Kimpton Gray team was a dream to work with before, during and after our wedding. The sales team were organized and helpful, the catering staff incredibly friendly and professional, the Adler Ballroom and Rooftop Restaurant Boleo are unique and beautiful settings for the event, the food is delicious, and the entire wedding package is generous. The Kimpton Gray hotel is an beautiful, classic yet modern venue in an excellent location right in the Chicago Loop - the location, accommodations and on-site amenities are unmatched. Definitely take photos in the beautiful LaSalle staircase and Volume 39 cocktail lounge.
