    DJ Alan was INCREDIBLE to work with!! He didn’t make a single mistake all day, everything was so smooth and exactly how we wanted it! He was very friendly, professional, and on top of everything. He kept the dance floor full all night and I cannot wait until our videographer sends over our wedding video - the way everyone ran to the dance floor for our opener was insane!! We have also been impressed and pleased with Okyne Medialab’s services as a whole - from initial consultation, planning, final preparations, and execution.

    We had DJ Alan from Okyne Media Lab for our wedding at Artifact Events, and he was absolutely fantastic. Throughout the night and days after, many guests came up to us to say how much they loved the music and how incredible our DJ was. The song selection from start to finish was spot on, and he kept the energy perfect for every moment. Okyne’s planning portal was also a huge help. It was easy to upload songs for each part of the wedding, highlight must-play tracks, and add playlists we wanted incorporated. DJ Alan executed everything flawlessly, including hitting all of the cues for both of our ceremonies. As a mixed-culture couple, we really wanted a blend of Bollywood and English music. DJ Alan nailed the balance perfectly and read the room so well. The mix kept everyone on the dance floor all night. The only small downside was that we didn’t find out who our DJ would be until a few days before, and most communication beforehand was through others at the company. But in the end, everything worked out wonderfully, and we couldn’t have been happier with how the night turned out. We would highly recommend Okyne Media Lab and DJ Alan for any wedding, especially if you’re looking for a DJ who can seamlessly blend cultures, keep the dance floor full, and deliver an unforgettable night.

    Overall, we had a good experience, but there was a significant gap between the service provided and the company's key selling point. The DJ was incredibly kind and professional, and everyone had a great time. However, a major disappointment was the lack of actual music mixing. The promise of being "pros at mixing music" was what initially sold us. Unfortunately, most songs were played almost fully through instead of being blended, which resulted in many tracks from our requested list being entirely missed or rushed in at the very end. I had expressed my specific concern about mixing to the manager, Rebecca, prior to booking, and she assured me the entire team was capable. While the overall event was a success, the failure to deliver on the fundamental promise of superior music mixing is a disappointing detail when looking back.
