I’m Mallory Ramirez, owner and lead planner of Mallory Joy Events. My background is in logistics—I spent over a decade building systems, managing details, and thinking three steps ahead. With a background that blends logistics, bridal styling, and event management, I bring both creative vision and practical organization to the planning process. That’s how Mallory Joy Wedding Events was built—not just from experience, but from intention.
My goal is simple: to give you the freedom to fully enjoy your wedding day while I handle the details that bring it all together. I’m proud to create an experience where my couples feel supported, taken care of, and truly present in one of the most meaningful moments of their lives. Mallory is PHENOMENAL
I got married yesterday but I wanted to write a review for Mallory ASAP because WOW, she made our wedding practically flawless!! We found Mallory to be an excellent planner and coordinator. From the start I felt so at ease talking to Mallory, I knew from our first conversation she was who I wanted to assist planning and executing the vision for our wedding, and my (new!) husband agreed. Mallory is very proactive with her work, often noticing what needs to be done before you do. She is kind, understands your vision well, and is easy for vendors to work with. We found our venue and caterer before we found her, but she nailed it when it came to finding our hair and makeup artist, florist, and DJ. All of which were heavily complimented for their work on our wedding day, and we likely wouldn’t have found them without her! She also looks into small details for you too. She will have you covered! Having Mallory there was like having a big sister who is in your corner while planning your wedding, but especially on your wedding day. You will absolutely not go wrong hiring her. She puts so much care into her work and even checks in with you during the process to make sure you’re pleased with the job she’s doing. I seriously cannot give her enough praise.

Small wedding, big help!
When my partner and I started planning our small/medium wedding, we were sure we could do it all on our own. One location, short ceremony, limited guest list, buffet dinner. But as planning moved forward, we realized that we simply couldn’t do it all AND still really relish and enjoy our day together with all of our friends and family. Mallory and her wife were fantastic in filling those shoes so that we could have the intimate, special day we dreamed of. Mallory’s attention to detail kept problems from happening before we could even realize. From decor assistance, to timeline management, to behind the scenes clean up, she was always on top of it. When my feet were tired on the dance floor and I kicked my heels off, she already had back up sandals on standby! We so appreciate her coming from out of town and keeping our vendors, families, and ourselves organized and feeling our best so that we could get the most out of our day!

I can not say enough amazing things about Mallory and Misty. From the moment they stepped in as our day-of coordinators, they made sure every detail of our wedding was handled flawlessly. Their organization, professionalism, and attention to detail allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our special day. They kept everything running on schedule, coordinated seamlessly with our vendors, and managed all the behind-the-scenes details so that we never had to worry about a thing. What stood out most was their calm, positive energy and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. No matter what came up, they handled it with confidence and grace, making the entire day feel effortless for us and our families. Thanks to Mallory, our wedding day was everything we dreamed it would be and more. We are so grateful for their hard work, dedication, and support. From my first phone call with Mallory I felt like we were friends. She talked to me and my husband like she’d known us forever. She got to know us and asked us questions about who we are and the things that we like, which is what made me choose her for our big day. It’s more than just the big day for Mallory. She helped me with so many aspects of my big day, I truly couldn’t have done it without her. Now that my wedding day is over not only am I walking away with the best memories of my favorite day. I’m walking away with someone I would consider a friend, and we won’t hesitate to reach out next time we’re in the GR area. I couldn’t dream of having anyone else help me with my wedding. There are not enough words to express my gratitude and gratefulness for Mallory and Misty. I would 100000% time and time again recommend Mallory for any services she offers. It was the best decision I made overall.

THE BEST!
From our first conversation, Mallory responsiveness and warmth made us feel confident we'd made the right choice. She stayed on top of every detail with our vendors and never missed a beat, even when we threw last-minute changes her way. Beyond what we expected from a day-of coordinator, Mallory supported us for months leading up to the wedding, offering thoughtful ideas that truly shaped our day. Her communication was clear and thorough, which meant we never had to worry about anything falling through the cracks. We felt so taken care of from start to finish! Mallory went above and beyond for us, and we can't recommend her (and her lovely wife Misty!!) enough. It was genuinely the best day.
