Adrien is exactly the person you need
Adrien is all the things you want in a wedding planner. Professional, experienced, organized, communicative, consistent, punctual, flexible, diplomatic, and thoughtful. She was an EXCELLENT advocate for us, taking the initiative to step in and take things off our plate or talk to others on our behalf. She provided useful ideas when we weren't sure how or when to do something. Our ceremony and reception were very different from the norm, and Adrien was totally on board with all the unique things we wanted to do. Highly recommend. Worth every penny.

We had a HORRIBLE experience from start to finish
Adrien bailed on my wedding 4 months before! Full story: I found Adrien to be totally ineffective for the 5 months I employed her (hired her in November 2025 for my August 2026 wedding.) I kept waiting for her to contribute something of value and was getting increasingly concerned. I negotiated all my own contracts and shared them with her, and she never raised one question or concern. I’m doubtful she read them at all. At the end of February 2026, Adrien let me know she was moving to Nashville but assured me it would not impact my wedding or her attendance/level of support in any way. I congratulated her and had no issues. Then in mid-April 2026, only a few weeks later, she emails me again to let me know she now “has a scheduling conflict” and could no longer attend my wedding. Totally unacceptable in my opinion. She’s a business owner who committed to being there and I was a full paying customer. I also firmly disagree with her timekeeping. She billed me 10 hours of work for what she admitted via email that “support was fairly light.” As the owner of a business, she should be the most senior and effective wedding planner on staff. After 10 hours of work, she should have more to show for it than “fairly light” correspondences. She also has outdated materials. In her welcome packet, she shared a list of recommended vendors and cited that she offers a design meeting to discuss the linen rentals she provides. When I reached out to set this meeting up, she let me know she doesn’t offer linen rentals (but she billed me 0.25 hours to tell me her materials were outdated!) She also billed me 0.75 for “DJ research” when she sent me 3 DJ options that were straight off her recommended vendor list she had already sent me months ago. When she brought a new planner on to lead my wedding due to her scheduling conflict, they double billed me hours. Adrien had already billed me more than 3 hours of “contract review” then her fill-in, Sarah, billed me 2 hours for their handoff conversations and another 3-4 hours for her own contract review. All in all— Adrien and RSVP Events were a massive disappointment and waste of time/money. They ultimately just created more work for me, and brides deserve peace of mind during their planning process.

Yes, approximately five months before your wedding, we notified you of a scheduling conflict and assigned another experienced coordinator from our team to continue providing the services outlined in our agreement. At no point did we have any intentions of withdrawing or cancelling your wedding. Every couple utilizes our planning services differently, and our involvement is tailored to each client's needs. During the early stages of planning, you chose to handle many planning tasks independently while we did regular check ins, offering guidance, and asking where we could assist. The planning hours billed reflected the actual time spent working on your wedding, including vendor communication and research, contract review, coordination, and other behind-the-scenes planning services. The 10 hours within the first 5 months were accurately tracked and were not inflated by any means. They were "fairly light" in the sense that most our clients utilize much more hours per month. As our conversations continued, it became clear that we were no longer the right fit for one another. Rather than continue a working relationship that was no longer productive, we mutually agreed to terminate our contract. We also waived the remaining balance due and both parties signed a Mutual Termination and Release Agreement releasing one another from any further obligations. My husband Chris and I cannot recommend Adrien at RSVP Events highly enough. We hired Adrien for full-service wedding planning for our destination wedding, and we truly have no idea what we would have done without her. From the very beginning, she guided us through every step of the process. She recommended and vetted vendors, reviewed contracts and caught mistakes we would have completely missed, communicated with vendors on our behalf, and helped us build a detailed timeline that made the entire wedding run smoothly. What impressed us most was how proactive and organized she was. She consistently checked in with us, reminded us of upcoming tasks and deadlines, and made sure nothing slipped through the cracks. Planning a wedding from another state could have been incredibly stressful, but Adrien made it feel manageable and straightforward. On the wedding day itself, I honestly did not lift a finger. Adrien and her team handled setup and coordination, including furniture, linens, the ceremony arch, and countless details behind the scenes. In fact, after the wedding she told us about a major issue that had come up that morning: due to a miscommunication with the table rental company, we almost didn't have tables for our guests. Adrien resolved the problem immediately and secured beautiful replacement tables without ever involving us. We spent the entire day enjoying our wedding completely unaware that anything had gone wrong. That level of professionalism and problem-solving is priceless. The greatest gift Adrien gave us was peace of mind. Instead of worrying about logistics, vendors, or unexpected issues, we were able to focus entirely on celebrating with our friends and family. Every couple deserves that experience on their wedding day. If you're considering hiring a wedding planner (especially for a destination wedding) do yourself a favor and hire Adrien. She is knowledgeable, organized, incredibly dedicated, and an absolute joy to work with. We are so grateful for everything she did to make our wedding day perfect.

The Best Decision we Made...5 Stars!!!
From the very first meeting with RSVP events to the last hour of my daughter’s wedding reception, Adrien was absolute perfection. This was my first child getting married and Adrien walked us through every single step with patience, kindness and total professionalism. I can not imagine going through this experience without her and I truly don’t think you get any better! She is incredibly thorough, attentive and always gave quick responses to all e-mails and or phone calls. This gave us so much peace of mind throughout the entire planning process. No questions were ever too small, and no detail was overlooked. Adrien runs a completely well oiled machine and I feel so blessed to be working with her again as my second daughter is getting married in September. Adriens organization and execution are unmatched. The timeline flowed seamlessly, vendors were coordinated flawlessly and the entire day felt effortless for our family because of her. She has wonderful relationships with vendors and is well established in the Grand Rapids area. It’s clear she is deeply respected and that makes a huge difference in how everything came together. We had a dream team, thanks to RSVP events. As the mother of the bride, I was able to be fully present and soak in every moment with my daughter and all our guests. That is a gift that I will forever cherish. I honestly don’t know why anyone would choose anyone else. Adrien is kind, organized, experienced and attentive.
