For couples who’ve started planning but want expert help along the way. We assist with vendor sourcing, timeline creation, and design direction—plus everything in our Wedding Management package. Think of it as having a trusted partner to guide and elevate your planning from the beginning.

You’ve planned the wedding—now enjoy it! We step in 6 months out to finalize details, confirm vendors, and manage the day. Unlike basic day-of services, our package includes planning tools, unlimited email support, design guidance, and multiple meetings so you feel prepared and stress-free.

    We had a terrible experience

    We had a really disappointing experience working with JW Designs and Jamie as our wedding planner. During our sales meeting, Jamie told us that the first couple to book her for our date with our package level would have her as the lead planner, so we signed up right away. A few days later, we discovered that Jamie had put another planner's name on our contract as the lead without telling us or explaining the change. When we asked about it, we felt like we had been misled about what we were actually paying for. Jamie's communication style was not transparent, and the service we received did not match what was promised. We would not recommend JW Designs to other couples looking for a wedding planner.

    Totally dishonest

    Extremely deceitful practice and not detail oriented. We had a call with Jaime Friday from 2:30-3pm CT where she explained another couple was considering her services for our same date and whoever booked her first (if we booked the same level package) would have her as our lead. We called her at 3:18 (17 mins after hanging up) and put it in writing at 3:21pmCT that we wanted to hire her and specifically for which package. This week, she sends our paperwork over and slips it in that one of her employees would be our lead without ever clarifying why or how (did the other couple book a larger package or did they somehow notify her in the 18 minute window since we called her back? Because she did not mention that on our second call or subsequent texts. After having to ask her multiple times as she changed the subject, she said that yes the other couple beat us timing wise. Talk about suspicious… Then she changed her story and said we “notified at the exact same time” so she went off of consult times…. That’s not how it was ever communicated to us. She also misspelled my name on my paperwork. Many of the vendors I've spoken to since confirm that they purposely do not recommend Jamie. Long story short— beware brides. Wedding planners are expensive and a huge factor, maybe the biggest factor, into how smoothly your wedding goes and how enjoyable the experience is for you. HONESTY should always be #1 and Jaime demonstrated a lack thereof. Also a lack of attention to details to spell the bride’s name wrong on the contract….

    Planning and Photography Services Review

    Jaime was wonderful to work with and made our wedding day so special. She was incredibly professional, knowledgable, and kind throughout the entire planning process. Photography: From the beginning she was so kind and professional, making my husband and I feel so comfortable. We chose her because we loved her style of candid photos that do an amazing job at capturing our love. She was wonderful at giving verbal cues and positioning to get the best photos. - Engagement session: We had a wonderful engagement photos session that captured exactly what we wanted, which were cozy, casual photos. She chose wonderful locations in downtown kalamazoo for us, that gave us a variety of amazing photos from sitting in a cozy leather couch near a fire place, to sharing a “date night” in a diner. At the end, she wrapped up our photo session in a cozy restaurant, giving us the opportunity to have a date night after, all planned by her! - Wedding Day: Jaime did an amazing job capturing the many special moments from our day. She communicated well with our guests and family to get all of the family photos that we had planned. She sneakily pulled us aside for many additional photos, including sun set photos, sitting cozy by the fire, and making smores together. She was always in the right place at the right time, capturing our entire night! Planning services: we feel incredibly lucky to have been able to work with Jaime for planning & coordinating our wedding. She made the process feel so easy and organized, leaving us stress free and allowing us to enjoy every moment. Through every aspect, it is evident the skill, experience, and expertise that she has. When in the initial stages of planning, she was able to visual the design I was thinking, and executed it perfectly. Her planning process was organized perfectly, scheduling many meetings throughout the planning process and recommended deadlines for booking vendors, buying decorations, etc. This was a great way to keep us on track and ensure we were not forgetting any detail. She was available at any time to answer any question we had. As someone that loves organization, her methods of organizing information in her provided google docs and folders made it so easy for us. Her day of coordination made the day feel so easy for us, she was able to coordinate our entire day, manage vendors, and finish our little details, while allowing us to focus on getting ready and excited for our ceremony. Any time we needed anything, Jamie and her assistant were on it. She was wonderful at communicating with the vendors whenever we changed things with the timeline and ensured everyone was in the loop. Throughout the night she made sure our guest was having a wonderful time and being safe. We did not have to worry about a single detail and at the end of the night Jamie and her assistant organized all of our decorations so all we had to worry about the next morning was putting it in cars. By the end of the night, we couldn't believe how easy it felt and wish it would have lasted longer. Overall, we could not imagined how we would have organized our day without her. She made our wedding day feel so special and allowed us to focus on our joy while making sure everyone had a wonderful time.

    Klimkiewicz wedding 8.10.24

    I cannot say enough great things about working with Jaime! She truly made the stressful experience so easy. From the time I met her at a bridal show, up until even now after wedding day, Jaime has been a pleasure to work with. Communication is amazing, she’s so incredibly supportive, professional, and detail oriented! She took our wild idea of a Tim Burton-esque theme and made it come to life. The day was even more beautiful than I could’ve imagined or hoped for. My husband originally wasn’t sure a wedding planner was even worth the cost, but as the day got closer, he was so thankful we had her part of our team. Jaime went above and beyond what I thought a wedding planner would do, I even had another vendor share with me what a pleasure she was to work with! I cannot say enough nice things about her, I don’t think there’s enough words in the world to describe it! In moments of brief anxiety on wedding day, I just looked around for Jaime and knew it would all turn out alright once I saw her. I’d recommend her to literally everyone I know.

The time we spend together varies based on your package and needs. Typically, you can expect several planning meetings—both virtual and in-person—as well as ongoing communication via email and phone. My goal is to be accessible and supportive without overwhelming you.
To provide each couple with my full attention and care, I typically work on one wedding per day or weekend. On busy weekends, I carefully limit the number of events to ensure smooth execution and a stress-free experience for you.
