Rebecca, the founder of the company and ordained officiant, is deeply passionate about supporting couples in love. Rebecca educates and supports couples through the process; tell her what you want and she'll provide what you need. Rebecca has more than a decade of experience within the event and hospitality industries. In her personal time, she enjoys leaning into creativity, psychology and exploring new destinations, food and drinks.

Rebecca is an experienced wedding planner and coordinator, producing beautiful weddings for down to earth couples in love. She's also an ordained minister officiant who loves performing wedding ceremonies and supporting couples with premarital counseling. Additionally, she has trained many the loved ones of many couples to officiate their wedding with confidence!

    We were thrilled to have Rebecca from Something Profound Weddings officiate our wedding. From our premarital counseling sessions, we knew she was perceptive, patient, and encouraging. Rebecca brought these same qualities to planning our ceremony. She listened thoughtfully to all our ideas and helped us incorporate them into a ceremony that reflected us as a couple.     My husband and I were planning a small elopement and originally thought we would go to the courthouse, say our own vows etc. We are SO happy we reached out to Rebecca for her advice and support in helping us put together the perfect ceremony for us. On our initial call she instantly made us feel comfortable and at ease but still had insightful and thoughtful questions to dig into our relationship. She was able to gather our story and our "why" and crafted the most beautiful ceremony for US. It felt unique and original and it was everything we hoped for.     There are no words to accurately describe how incredible Rebecca was. Our wedding was beautiful and memorable because of Rebecca. She kept us on track, reminded us of important deadlines and considerations, sourced vendors, provided recommendations, offered fun ideas, and helped us make big decisions. She is organized, thorough, punctual, and the perfect level of assertive and diligent. She also is a lovely person. It was the ultimate pleasure to work with her.
