As your straightforward sounding board, we'll help you narrow down your Pins and hear out your dreams. (Heck, we'll even dream with you.) And we'll help you navigate your feelings, ideas and even your mom! But you should also know that if one of your ideas won’t really work – or there is a better way to approach your idea, we’re going to tell you that too! Because, trust us, you might think a trolley filled with your wedding party is a great idea. But the air conditioning of a bus is better than diesel fumes any day - especially during summer in the city.

Your Been There Done That Experts With us, you've got a " been there, done that" expert in your corner who understands the world of events. Someone diplomatic - who knows how and when to speak up to get things done tactfully. We'll listen to your concerns and make sure they're handled. We'll walk into your venue with big smiles and 40 extra copies of the most recent/correct floor plan. And we'll communicate with the venue, vendors and day-of team to make sure your wants and needs are honored. Basically, we’ve got your back ALL day in ALL ways!

Perfect for couples who want to lead the vision but need expert support along the way. We refine your plans, guide key decisions, curate vendors as needed, and keep the process clear and stress-free. You stay in control with a pro in your corner at every turn.

Our elevated coordination begins 4 to 6 months before your wedding. You get a custom planning portal, timeline support, vendor guidance, and a team that steps in early to keep everything organized. On wedding day, we run the show so you can be fully present and blissfully stress-free.

    Ten stars for HBIC!

    I truly cannot recommend HBIC Weddings enough! Veronica was an absolute star from start to finish. We began bi-weekly calls about four months before our wedding and moved to weekly calls as we got closer, and I felt completely supported and organized every step of the way. On our wedding day, we had an incredible team of THREE - Veronica, Christina, and Davis - and everything went off without a hitch. They handled so much behind-the-scenes vendor coordination and logistics that I genuinely don't know how I would have done it without them. Even for our "smaller" wedding of about 80 guests at a restaurant, having professional coordination was absolutely invaluable. I was able to actually enjoy our wedding instead of worrying about timelines, vendors, or what needed to happen next. Worth every penny, and I would hire HBIC again in a heartbeat!

    Best planner ever!

    We had our wedding at the end of March and it was a smashing success! We started working with HBIC immediately after selecting each other and the venue city and simply could not have gone through the process without her guidance. 3 of Diane's super powers need to be highlighted in particular. Deep Connection and Understanding with the Couple - The company is Diane and Diane is the company; no being passed around from one person to another. If you get the opportunity to work with her, it's because she's selected you as a couple knowing you will have a great working relationship. She takes the time to deeply understand you, both as individuals and as a couple, and weaves that into the wedding. The end product will be completely unique to you as a couple. Value Maximization - Everyone has a budget. Diane will take that budget further than you thought possible. She knows exactly where to allocate funds for outsized impact and where strategic cuts won't be noticed. Many of our guests tried to estimate our budget. The absolute lowest estimate was 2.5x our actual budget. Unmatched Experience - Diane brings with her 25 years of experience in not just wedding planning, but also in large scale event planning. Not only has she worked with every major venue and vendor in the entire city but she has seen all permutations of how they work together. When you have her holding your hand through the vendor selection process, the team working with you day of and throughout will operate like a well-oiled machine. At the end of the day, the value that Diane provides in ensuring the best possible wedding is simply incalculable. You would never go into a legal trial without the best possible attorney, don't go into your wedding without the best possible wedding planner. Hugo Ali

    The mother of the bride is happy. :)

    As mother of the bride, it was a comfort and a HUGE relief not to have to worry about anything except enjoying one of the most important days of my daughter's life. HBIC had it ALL covered. Everything was planned and executed perfectly. Not the first hitch! I would certainly hire them again. 5 stars from me!

    Organized, Funny, and a Total Pro

    Choosing to work with Diane and HBIC weddings was one of the best decisions we've made. We liked her instantly and appreciated her sense of humor and experienced guidance. Diane made planning our wedding so easy by providing excellent vendor recommendations, helping us focus on where best to spend our budget, and wrangling the cats so we had a stress-free weekend. I highly recommend HBIC weddings!

A venue coordinator manages only the items that pertain to a specific venue. This often includes food and beverage services, servers, bartenders, staffing, and on-site facilities. Sometimes a couple may not meet their venue coordinator until well after they book their venue. A wedding planner manages all aspects of the wedding weekend and is on-site at both the getting ready location & off-site ceremony. As your planner, our job is to orchestrate the entire event from start to finish, making sure the planning and wedding experience is as stress-free as possible. And leaving you to simply enjoy the day.
What makes us unique is how involved we are! We don't merely make recommendations or suggestions and then just help you implement your plans. We are your partner throughout the entire process. We are with you selecting vendors, confirming the details & contracts. And we will manage all of the moving parts. Of course, you get to be part of the fun decision-making details, but we will handle the logistics so you can enjoy your engagement. Heads up, we tend to get involved in the nitty-gritty details that may be too much for other planners to mess with.
Yes! We would love to! We offer complimentary initial consultations (by phone or on a Zoom) to help assess your specific needs. Once we learn the scope of your plans - along with all of your wishes, desires & concerns - we'll offer some custom options that are the right fit for you. Instead of sending you a generic single option of Full Planning, Partial Planning, or Day of Coordination, after our conversation, we'll write a proposal that gives you 3 variations of planning packages (& pricing) tailor-made to your needs, not ours. Over the years, we've been lucky to have worked on weddings of all shapes and sizes. We've worked weddings with as few as 16 guests and others with as many as 400! We’ve had the pleasure to work with same-sex couples and have hosted a double wedding as well! And we've helped with weddings that have spanned religions and cultural boundaries - from interfaith to traditional Chinese tea ceremonies. In other words, there isn’t much we haven't seen!
Absolutely! Very involved! We want you BOTH to be part of the decision-making process. The more opinions and ideas you contribute, the better we can design and mastermind for you. Your wedding is personal to you, so it should look like the two of you created it together. Ultimately, we are here to implement and execute your vision! Even if you are incredibly busy with work, school, or family, we will make sure that you are still involved in making your own decisions. We will just provide more guidance and suggestions to make the process simple. So, if time-saving is what you need, that's what we will do for you.
To ensure our attention to detail is laser-focused and you have the hands-down best experience, we take on about 15 or so weddings a year.
Due to dangerously high summer temperatures, a couple changed both the timing & location. On the morning of their wedding! Within an hour, the “plan B” was put into action and the wedding day was smooth as silk.
