Indoor Cocktail Party & Ceremony Space
Our 1st-floor cocktail space features vintage seating areas, creating a comfortable and stylish setting for you and your guests to enjoy.
Walk down the aisle in vintage style. Wooden church pews, glittering chandeliers, and Greek columns frame the ceremony space, which is truly one-of-a-kind. The ceremony space also works well for meetings and presentations, set in theatre style. Add gorgeous vintage bars, endless pieces to entertain and interest guests, and you’ll easily have the event of the year!

The reception area is uniquely staged for each event with Salvage One’s amazing inventory of vintage tables, chairs, sofa groupings and chandeliers.
Celebrate the night away in our reception space. Wood floors, exposed brick, and a plethora of vintage furniture help deck your event out in style. Want to feature your entertainment properly? We have two stages for bands, DJs, and – dare we suggest – impromptu dance-offs.

The wedding experience at Salvage One begins with the wedding suite, where you and your loved ones can spend time before the ceremony.
A three-room suite adjacent to the second floor space which can be used for wedding party and family to gather. Staged specifically for your comfort and to provide amazing backdrops for beautiful photos.

The Courtyard & Outdoor Ceremony Space
The garden courtyard, with its bathtub fountain and the iconic "CHICAGO" sign, is perfect for ceremonies, cocktails, or just to enjoy the outdoors.
Enjoy the beauty of the outdoors in our lovely courtyard. With exposed brick and walls of ivy, cocktail hour – or your outdoor wedding – will be unforgettable. Our cultivated arch for small outdoor weddings makes “I do” green (and gorgeous).

Salvage One - A Unique Venue
Salvage One is a venue unlike any other. If you’re looking for something beyond four brick walls and a standard chandelier, this is an absolute must-see. The space is fun, eclectic, and full of character, truly a dream backdrop for couples who want a wedding that feels uniquely their own. Colleen at Salvage One is a joy to work with. She’s a quick communicator, incredibly helpful, and so creative when it comes to bringing each couple’s vision to life. Her support makes the planning process smoother and the wedding day experience unforgettable. If you want a one-of-a-kind setting and a team that genuinely cares, Salvage One delivers every time. You and your guests will leave with the very best memories.
The coziest and most beautiful venue!
We are so happy that we booked Salvage One as our wedding venue! The space was cozy and beautiful for a fall wedding- we had so many guests comment on how much they loved it. The team was so helpful leading up to the wedding day as well!
The Perfect Venue
We toured Salvage One on a weekend among 10 other Chicago venue tours and we instantly knew it was the place we wanted to get married. (So instantly, that we ran out of our last tour to go sign our contract and secure our date that day!). It met and exceeded all of our expectations on the day. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and Colleen and her team are so responsive and helpful. The ceremony space is so beautiful and allows for a truly cinematic experience walking down the aisle. For the reception area, being able to leverage the antique tables (and bonus: not having to rent linens!) gave everything a perfectly cozy touch, and we partied under the disco ball all night long. We received compliments all night long on our venue choice and overall cannot recommend this location enough.

Communication with Salvage One was great throughout the entire planning process. Colleen, the event coordinator, was wonderful to work with and customized everything to fit our vision. The space itself is so fun and unique - it has so much character that we were able to save a lot on decor because of its inherent beauty. Our wedding day at Salvage One was truly special and we are so grateful for their exceptional service and attention to detail. We highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a one-of-a-kind wedding experience.
