Second Floor - Ceremony Space

Bright and fresh ceremony room bordered by large windows on both sides

As soon as you step into the room, you can immediately envision yourself walking down the aisle towards our organic feature wall. This space has retained the original building's brick coloring which is balanced out by the neutral wood-tones of our floors and the walls of the bar. Windows facing East and West promises beautiful natural lighting for as long as the Sun is up. For our winter weddings, we dim the lighting to ensure your space is intimate and romantic as you would like.

Our first floor is the crown jewel of Walden! As soon as you cross the entrance to the reception and cocktail space you are immediately greeted to versatile room that feels both cozy and spacious at the same time. We decided to white wash the original brick to bring in a light and airy feel to contrast with the industrial floors and ceilings. We fell in love with the original ceilings of the building and opted to keep them as is!!

    Walden is the BEST!

    If you’re considering the Walden as your venue, let this be your sign to book with them. The space is huge, the ambiance is warm and industrial, the food is insanely good, unlike any other “traditional” wedding venue, and the best part, the planning team. We had the pleasure of working with Sydni and Alyssa who essentially planned our wedding from scratch within a 6 month span. They are extremely organized and professional, while also being relatable and honest. Our guest count was 254, which is not a very forgiving number of people to coordinate, especially when the couple (us) seem to be allergic to making decisions in a timely matter. Sydni and Alyssa navigated any obstacles that arose with grace and ultimately organized a wedding that was beyond what we could’ve expected. If and when you have the opportunity to meet them, you’ll be sure that you’ve made the right choice. We couldn’t be more happy with how everything went. Sydni and Alyssa, you guys are the absolute best!

    Good Food, Good Drinks, Good People, GREAT WEDDING

    We could not have been happier with our decision to have our wedding at Walden. From the moment we inquired about the venue to the visit and finally the big day, the entire team was wonderful to work with. We worked mainly with Sydni and Ally but all planners were organized, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout the planning process, always answering our questions and making sure every detail was accounted for. Their professionalism and friendliness made what could have been a stressful process feel seamless and enjoyable. On the wedding day, Imani, along with Sydni and Ally truly went above and beyond. They coordinated vendors, steamed outfits, kept everything on schedule, managed setup, distributed tips, and handled countless behind-the-scenes details that allowed us to fully enjoy the day without worrying about logistics. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful and incredibly well-designed for a wedding. Having both the ceremony and reception spaces on-site made the entire experience so convenient for us and our guests. The flow between spaces was seamless, and everything was set up thoughtfully to ensure ease of access and a smooth transition throughout the evening. And the food—absolutely delicious. We received so many compliments from our guests about the quality of the meal. The bar was equally impressive and felt like a dream. Drinks were fantastic, service was efficient, and guests never had to wait long. Another big hats off to the chef, cooks, bartenders, and service staff! Walden delivered everything we were hoping for in a wedding venue: a beautiful space, exceptional food and beverage service, and an outstanding team that genuinely cared about making our day special. We would recommend them wholeheartedly to any couple looking for an all-in-one venue and planning team.

    Magical Moment!

    10/10! Loved working with Sydni and the rest of the team to bring our magical moment to fruition. The Walden made the planning process super manageable. We appreciated Sydni's attention to detail, and the catering and bar staff were a dream to work with. My husband is from Chicago, but we live in Texas. We always knew what was coming next, and they did a great job supporting us throughout the planning process.

    Walden saved us & helped throw our dream wedding!

    My wife and I were married here on April 12th 2026 and it was the best day of our lives. Walden was an absolutely major contributor to the best day of our lives. Oh and by the way, it was the 2nd wedding we planned. Our original plan was having a wedding in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in April, but due to unforeseen circumstances we had to cancel 50 days out and plan a whole new wedding. Walden saved us, especially our wedding planners, Sydni and Katie-Rose. The venue was empathetic to our situation and they were so prepared to take on the challenge and help us get a new wedding planned from scratch. From the start, we felt so comfortable and knew that we were going to pull it off and still throw the wedding of our dreams despite our circumstance. The communication was open, and regular. Walden put us in touch with all sorts of vendors. They allowed my wife and I to consider our options, while keeping us on a tight schedule. All of our vendors expressed positive notes and experiences with Walden. Both spaces, the ceremony area, and the reception/cocktail area are beautiful spaces that give any couple an open canvas to design their dream wedding. That's exactly what we got. Our guests loved the ceremony, they loved the space, they loved the giant bar, they loved the incredible drinks, and they ESPECIALLY loved the food. I will recommend any engaged couple or a couple interested in renewing their vows to host their event at Walden. Ask for Sydni and/or Katie-Rose and your visions will come true!

    BEST VENUE EVER!

    My wedding was almost three weeks ago! I haven’t stopped thinking about the Walden. I would recommend this venue to EVERYONE!! For starters…the owner Maria took time BEFORE we even saw the venue to call me to introduce herself and tell me a little about the venue. She followed up a few days later. That costumer service alone sold me. I feel absolutly in love with the venue. The staff. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. Included in the package are wedding planners. Sydni was my main girl. I will forever be so insanely greatful for her! She is by far the best wedding planner ever! I don’t know how my wedding would have gone without her. Ally and Helen were my day of planners and they were beyond amazing!! The three of them were my dream team! As far as the food….I am still being told by family and guest that it was the BEST wedding food they ever had!!! I cannot recommend this place enough!!

Yes!! We have a spacious parking lot located to the West side of our building! We do not charge a fee to utilize it, we also have ample street parking near the venue!
Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main entrance and into the first floor . We also boast a large elevator to bring guests up and down our second floor space
Your vendor team will have full access to our building on the day of your event! We do not require additional cost for your vendor team to arrive early! For your guests, your event at Walden will be 7 hours! 6 hours from when your event starts and ends, we also include half over before your event and after! This ensures your guests do not feel rushed from start to finish!
We do require our clients to purchase event insurance.
