Loft on Lake is the quintessential Chicago loft space in the West Loop, on the west entrance of the trendy Fulton Market District. We provide a completely customizable space with very versatile layout options, so you’re able to create whatever vibe you envision for your big day! Our urban features of copper-gloss concrete floors, exposed brick, ductwork, and bow truss ceilings & a 65ft skylight running the length of the space are sure to check all your boxes for an amazing loft-style event!

I cannot recommend Loft on Lake highly enough. The space is just beautiful! We knew we wanted to have our wedding there as soon as we walked into the event space. The decorations are simple and lovely and recreate a wonderful warm and inviting environment. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the space was. We didn't use any additional decorations as the exposed brick and curtained walls provided all the ambiance needed. Jill was also so wonderful to work with. She was responsive to all forms of communication and quick to answer any questions. Other vendors also commented on how much they enjoy working with her. Such a great experience and also at a great price! Thanks for everything!

We were the videographers for Bridget and Kevin's wedding last September. From the start, we were very impressed! We met with Bridget and Kevin's entire team of vendors in-person, including Jill w/ Loft on Lake, as well as their photography and DJ team - something that isn't always done, believe it or not! We were given a clear rundown of the day and shown around their amazing venue weeks in advance so we knew exactly what to expect on the wedding day. Jill also went out of her way to ensure we (the vendors) were fed, which is something that SO MANY event managers/coordinators fail to do! We highly recommend hosting your wedding at Loft on Lake and we look forward to working there again soon!!

Loft on Lake is such a unique space with natural beauty that stands alone with the brick interiors with architectural uplighting to a beautiful skylight that lends itself as a natural aisle for ceremonies creating an ethereal feel. They also added on lighting from chandeliers to ceiling globe lights. The team on site with Jill and Cher are amazing, they're attentive to every detail from beginning to end! Also check out Lofty Wedding Photography, their in-house photographer. So if you are looking for the perfect venue to have your Dream Wedding....look no further!

Yes, we are BYOB and don't impose any corkage fees. Your caterer would supply licensed bartenders to serve your guests.

2 private parking spots are included with rental (for family, vendors, etc) +1 for your caterer. There is a large loading zone directly in front of the venue that you may use as an Uber/Lyft/Shuttle drop-off zone or have guests park there instead. A public parking garage is located right next door for easy guest parking, and free street parking surrounds the venue as well.

Yes, we have a small ramp at the main entrance, and our back entrance is ground level. We have wheelchair accessible restrooms & hearing-impaired fire alarm lights.

Abundant Lighting Throughout, Colored Uplighting for fun dance floor vibes, Cocktail Lounge Area with Lounge Furniture Included, Large Bridal Suite with Full Length Mirror & Sink, Full Service Kitchen & Commercial Grade Appliances, All the tables you’ll need for your event, 150 Natural Wooden Folding chairs, Complimentary 1-hr Rehearsal on a day prior to wedding day.

Your reservation includes 10 hours, generally 2pm vendor access for setup and last song plays at midnight. There is time for your caterer to clean up afterward that is not factored against your rental time. We're a super flexible venue to work with so we'll coordinate deliveries and setup time as best we're able to!

Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. Any amounts paid may be applied toward any type of event in the future.

Our building is located 15 miles from O'Hare, and 11 miles from Midway. Our venue is accessible by public transportation via the subway or train, or by ride-share services. We're also easily accessible from 90/94 and 290 with parking available.

No, our venue is fully insured. Your vendors also supply their own insurance as well, so you're all set! You, of course, are completely able and encouraged to secure your own wedding insurance as that will provide added security as you plan your big day.
