Toast & Jam DJs specialize in making people dance by working closely with our clients to create customized playlists that reflect their tastes. We reject line dances, props, and other gimmicks in favor of perfectly planned and well-timed soundtracks that appeal to every partygoer. That means no Hokey Pokey and no Chicken Dance. At Toast & Jam, we believe that a thoughtful mix of pop favorites, hip-hop bootyshakers, Motown classics, and timeless standards are fun and self-respecting alternative to those embarrassing and played-out dancefloor clichés.

Our DJs are super-talented and totally music-obsessed, but we aren't music snobs. We understand that it’s your wedding, and it’s all about what you want. We aren’t club DJs who took a wedding “for the money.” We love weddings and are honored to be a part of the big day. We work closely with your other vendors to make sure that the event goes off perfectly.

    DJ Fredrick was absolutely incredible!

    We were connected with DJ Fredrick through Toast and Jam, and overall we had an amazing experience with both Toast and Jam and DJ Fredrick. Toast and Jam's online system was very useful and it helped us think about what we wanted. DJ Fredrick was the best DJ ever, we are so thrilled about everything he did for us. We had multiple zoom call planning sessions where DJ Fredrick helped us figure out what our wedding was going to sound like. He went above and beyond in the months leading up to the wedding. We had a complicated wedding with multiple DJ locations, live music, and unique ceremonial elements, and DJ Fredrick organized and directed everything flawlessly. He made sure all of our guests were in the right places at the right time, he was honestly much more helpful than our day of coordinator. Finally, DJ Fredrick played all of the music we requested, and he perfectly captured the distinct vibes we wanted for the cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing. He also was doing legitimate and creative mixing and transitions, he is a real pro! Thank you so much DJ Fredrick!

    T&J and DJ Chris ROCK!!!!!

    DJ Chris with Toast & Jam was EXCEPTIONAL! He showed so much genuine care for details throughout our planning process and truly made our wedding day everything we had hoped it would be. The music was exactly what we had discussed and envisioned, and he even created a custom edited version of our first dance song. We had so many of our friends and family tell us that our wedding was the most fun that they have ever had at a wedding and we truly think this was all thanks to Chris! He nailed our music tastes and had our dance floor literally jam packed the whole night. Chris was such a vibe and looked like he was having just as much fun DJing, as our guests were dancing with us. Couldn't recommend him and T&J enough!

    The best DJ

    We truly could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From the moment Alli arrived, she immediately made my life easier and helped everything feel so stress-free. She was very organized, professional, easy to work with, and just brought the BEST energy from start to finish. She completely understood the vibe we wanted and kept the good energy going all night long! The dance floor was exactly what we hoped it would be, and she did such an amazing job reading the room and knowing what to play to keep everyone having fun. There was never a moment where I felt like I needed to worry about what was happening next. She had everything handled, which meant I could actually relax and enjoy our night. Beyond being an incredible DJ, she was such a wonderful person to have there on our wedding day. She made us feel taken care of, kept things running smoothly, and truly helped make our reception so much fun. We had the absolute best night, and she was such a huge part of that.     DJ Todd Rocked!

    DJ Todd was absolutely fantastic, from our first meeting we knew we were in good hands. He was able to nail our and our friends’ musical vibe, and it felt like we had a close friend as our DJ on our wedding night. After we got back from our honeymoon, all of our friends were raving about Todd’s DJ skills. It means so much that not only did my wife and I have a blast, but so did our guests. In addition to his skills as a DJ, he also helped with the flow of the evening keeping everything on track as a host. We had some special requests for specific versions of songs and a sing along that Todd had no problem accommodating. From the bottom of our hearts thank you so much for rocking on our special day I cannot recommend you enough!

    The Perfect DJ!

    Working with Chris was fantastic. Chris brought a personable approach to every interaction leading up to the event, making the entire planning process stress-free. He nailed the music selection based on our pre-wedding conversations, crafting a vibe that perfectly matched our vision (no brakes, all gas!) and kept the dance floor packed from start to finish. Beyond that, Chris handled announcements and controlled the energy throughout the evening with real skill and professionalism. His ability to read the room and deliver exactly what we asked for—and then some—made all the difference. Highly, highly recommend!!

Our DJs provide music for cocktails, dinner and dancing and the basic sound equipment. We have a 6-hour minimum. Any additional time or special equipment will incur additional charges. Weddings and events more than 25 miles from our office will incur an additional travel fee. We also offer Photo Booth and Lighting Services.
We would love for you to give us your first dance song and your father-daughter and/or mother-son songs. That way we can ensure that we’re playing the correct version of your songs of choice (because the Etta James version of “At Last” is way different from the Stevie Wonder version - yeah, it exists).
Nope. Sorry to be blunt, but it’s just not fair to our brides and grooms to invite strangers to crash their weddings. We wouldn’t want that for our own weddings, and we’re guessing you wouldn’t want it for yours either. Also, we specialize in tailoring the events to the specific needs of the client. One client’s dream of an all gangsta-rap wedding could potentially be your nightmare.
We’d love to, provided your ceremony and reception are at the same location (and by same location we mean under the same roof, within the same walls or generally on the same property). That does not include, for example, the park across the street or the church around the corner. Not to get too technical, but it’s a lot more complicated than just throwing up some speakers.
All Toast & Jam DJs use high-end equipment that can (and will!) create beautiful sound in any and all venues. We are fully digital and do not use vinyl. If you want the full details on equipment, you can get the rundown when you meet with your DJ - all the DJs own their own gear, so everyone’s rig is a little different.
