    Book Norah for your next event!

    Norah is the coolest and was a joy to work with for our May 2026 wedding. We met Norah on a zoom call and later had 2-3 other calls to gather details and talk through the flow of the day. We contracted her as both our DJ and photobooth operator. In the months leading up to our wedding, Norah gave us access to a digital platform called Vibo DJ to add songs directly from Spotify/Apple Music, which made plugging in playlists a breeze. The platform also provided a loose timeline for the day/what song is played when, which was very helpful. The day of, Norah arrived on time and kept the good vibes going! She proactively managed the potential echo in our venue (which had vaulted ceilings). The photobooth was a hit with guests, Norah provided a backdrop, the camera, printed photo strips, as well as a guest book for guests to tape in photos/write notes. Norah's personality was what sold us. She was easy-going, kind, and so fun to talk to! She went above and beyond for us, even offering to mix a Father/Daughter dance mashup for us. We always looked forward to speaking with her throughout the planning process. If you are looking for a DJ for your event, Norah is your girl!

    Norah is Fantastic DJ!

    Firstly, before all the details, Norah was a phenomenal DJ at our wedding and you should hire her! We picked her, out of the many DJs we interviewed, because of her friendly and professional vibes. As a solo operator you get to work with her for the whole process which was a big plus for us over the larger collectives that felt too impersonal. Wedding prep with Norah was easy and comprehensive, discussing everything from song choices on the dance floor to the exact order of speakers at the reception and the session left us confident going into the big day. And on that big day, everything went incredibly smoothly! The ceremony was picture perfect hitting all the cues and the cocktail hour and dinner went off without a hitch with her filling in lovely music from our vague suggestions. She was very responsive to our guests adjusting the music to better accommodate conversation. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, she killed it during the dancing, keeping the dance floor packed all for the whole evening by perfectly blending our requested songs and vibes for an amazing night we will never forget! TLDR: Norah has been in the wedding DJ business for a long time because she is great at what she does and she delivers on your big day!

    Modern Love is the BEST!

    Norah is THE BEST! I knew immediately when we met with her for the first time on Zoom that she was the one. She was funny, quirky, and definitely understood our different music tastes. She appreciated my husband’s sense of humor and pretty instantly got the vibe we were hoping to create at our wedding. I loved the little welcome gift she sent us! And it was SO easy to communicate with Norah before the wedding. She helped us put together a great flow for the wedding and made me feel very confident about our plans. On the day of the wedding, Norah was an absolute dream. The music was perfect, the announcing was spot on, and the vibes were right all night long. She got along easily with everyone and made sure the night was perfect. 1000% recommend Norah & Modern Love!!

    An Unforgettable Wedding DJ Experience

    Nora went above and beyond as our wedding DJ for our November 2025 celebration! From start to finish, she was absolutely incredible. She arrived early to our venue, brought all the equipment needed for our ceremony, and even worked with our officiant to make sure the sound and microphone setup were just right. Nora made sure every “must-have” song on our list was included, and she went the extra mile to track down some lesser-known artists that were really special to us, including our first dance song, which meant the world. Throughout the night, she read the room perfectly and matched the energy of our guests and our vibe flawlessly. The dance floor was never empty, and we’re still hearing from guests about how amazing Nora was and how perfect the music felt for every moment. She was incredibly responsive, organized, and an absolute dream to work with from the moment we booked her. If you’re looking for a wedding DJ who truly cares, creates the perfect atmosphere, and goes the extra mile to make your day unforgettable, Nora with Modern Love DJ is the way to go!

    Norah Rocks!

    I can't recommend Norah enough. We found her through Reddit, and from our very first call she stood out from all the other DJs we talked to. She has a great personality, warm and genuine presence, and has so much passion for her craft. We knew coming out of that consultation that we wanted to book her, but soonafter realized that she actually was the DJ for my friend's wedding earlier in the year -- so that additional seal of approval instantly sealed the deal for us. Norah was a great communicator and collaborator throughout the months leading up and on the day of. Everything went exactly according to plan -- who can say that about their wedding?? -- and she was a large contributor to that. Norah followed all of my planning documents (I didn't have a planner or day-of coordinator) and was quick on her toes -- despite an ankle injury -- to improve upon those plans as needed day-of, working closely with our caterer, photographer, officiant, her assistant (due to the injury), and family/friends to ensure my husband and I could have an amazing, worry-free day. And of course, she provided the soundtrack for the whole day, using all of my 'must-plays,' none of our 'do-not-plays', and filling in the gaps with crowd favorites. She was such a joy to work with. Thank you again, Norah!
