    You will love them!

    Nick and team took time to understand what kind of vibe we wanted for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, and worked with our input to make an incredibly, fun, classy, upbeat vibe! They read the room perfectly, mixing songs that got our grandparents excited alongside tracks that had our friends jumping around. What really stood out was how thoughtful they were about the timing of everything—they knew exactly when to slow things down and when to turn up the energy. We'd absolutely recommend them to any couple looking for a DJ who genuinely cares about making your day special. We also got the photobooth - not only did they design and print the photo strips with a custom wedding logo, but they included this little book and pens so all our friends could paste a duplicate of their photo strip and write us a message! It’s such a cute keepsake and we loved seeing our friends happy and goofy

    Amazing Experience

They nailed the ceremony that felt personal and emotional, then kept the reception buzzing with incredible energy all night long.     Thanks Steve and Impulse Entertainment!

    Thanks to Impulse Entertainment and our DJ Steve, who did a great job for our recent wedding. He was organized, kept us on a tight schedule and had everyone on the dance floor until the end of the party. He met every expectation we had and then some! The app was also super helpful in getting us organized by the way. It made us think of most of a bunch of small details that may have slipped through the cracks and we thought that was extremely useful. Overall we couldn’t have been happier about how things went with Steve and Impulse Entertainment. Thanks for being a key part of the festivities!

    Great DJ

    We had Nick DJ our wedding and he did an incredible job. His enthusiam throughout the night and through the planning process was next level. You really can't go wrong with him as your DJ. So many of our guests told us how much they enjoyed him as the DJ.

    Impulse Entertainment - DJ

    Everything was perfect. Justin was the best and I will be referring him to all my friends. He was thoughtful, always checked in on us, made sure we were good on food and drinks, and confirmed the timeline with us. He made sure we liked the music, took good requests from guests, and kept everyone happy and dancing. I could not have asked for a better DJ and production - everyone was telling me how much they enjoyed the DJ. Thank you all again!

What you really pay for is a DJ that knows you and what you want and can read your crowd to keep them on the dance floor all night.
Yes! We are covered up to $1,000,000 for any liability incident. This means that you, your guests, and your venue are covered! If your venue requires vendor insurance, please make sure to let us know and we’ll do the rest!
Absolutely! Beatmixing songs together (like you would hear a radio DJ do), ensures that there aren’t many pauses between songs and will keep you and your guests on the dance floor all night long without having to stop dancing and wait for the next song to start up again. We will make sure to keep the atmosphere fun and energetic!
We understand that many events (especially weddings) have guests from the ages of 2 to 92! The last thing we want to do is offend anyone with inappropriate lyrics. We make sure that all of our music (even today’s popular songs) is edited to please everyone. In fact, that is all we will play unless you request otherwise at a meeting. Furthermore, we use our best judgement when there are younger people in the crowd to make it a fun-filled night for everyone.
Most definitely! — But this is up to you. If you want your guests to request songs, we will take requests. If you want us to honor a specific playlist we will do that too! By taking requests, your guests can get involved in your event and we can have some fun and interact with them as well!
Currently, we serve Chicago’s north, west, and south suburbs. However, we are not opposed to traveling further for events. We must note that if your event is out of our service area, there will be an increase in price for travel costs.
With over 100,000,000 songs in our online databases, we are sure to have the music you want! If we don’t have it, we get it for you at no extra cost. Also, our songs are downloaded at the highest quality possible (and legally) to ensure you and your guests are experience a crisp, clear sound.
