    Wedding review

    Nick Vera at Impulse Entertainment was incredible at our wedding. He had a ton of energy which created a vibrant dance floor the entire night. He was able to read the dance floor and he transitioned songs in a smooth and fun way. Nick checked in with us throughout the wedding to ensure that we were comfortable and having fun. Prior to the wedding, Nick and his team used an organized app that made the planning process easy and less overwhelming. Nick was communicative and met with us a few times to plan. Nick also customized songs to our interests. We couldn't recommend him and his company more!!

    We danced all night long!

    Nick was absolutely amazing, from our first interaction with Impulse, to the first meeting with Nick, and through our wedding day! Nick and his team are true experts at what they do. At our first meeting he had us excited on a Wednesday night for our wedding that was months away. He has amazing energy! Every detail of our night was discussed prior to the day and executed perfectly. He allowed us to enjoy our night while guiding all of the guests through dinner, dances, and games. Nick knew what to play for us all night to keep as many people dancing as possible! He listened to all the specific details we asked for and knew exactly when to play Dancing Queen (:

    Most fun ever

    Impulse Entertainment was amazing for our wedding! Nick was super friendly and enthusiastic about making sure we were prepared for our wedding day, not to mention very organized. The online system they use to record your timeline and song choices was very thorough and easy to use. Jeff was our DJ and he was so much fun. He kept our dance floor packed and energized all night by seamlessly mixing our requests with other great songs I didn’t even think to request. He also helped us stay on track with our timeline throughout the night which I couldn’t have done without his help. So many of our guests told us it was the most fun they’d ever had at a wedding. Absolutely would recommend working with Jeff and Nick to anyone!

    Highly recommend impulse entertainment!! Their app was so easy to use and made planning all music for our wedding stress free! Jeff was outstanding! He kept the dance floor packed all night! Can’t recommend impulse entertainment enough!

    Impulse Entertainment did a great job making our wedding dreams come to life! Nick was very involved in the planning process and brought the excitement to all of our calls! Jeff was so accommodating and made last minute changes as needed. Our family and friends were dancing all night long. The photo booth was also a hit and made memories we will have forever! We will take care of everything necessary to make your event run as smoothly as possible. When it is all said and done the newest equipment can only go so far. What you really pay for is a DJ that knows you and what you want and can read your crowd to keep them on the dance floor all night.
Yes! We are covered up to $1,000,000 for any liability incident. This means that you, your guests, and your venue are covered! If your venue requires vendor insurance, please make sure to let us know and we’ll do the rest!
Absolutely! Beatmixing songs together (like you would hear a radio DJ do), ensures that there aren’t many pauses between songs and will keep you and your guests on the dance floor all night long without having to stop dancing and wait for the next song to start up again. We will make sure to keep the atmosphere fun and energetic!
We understand that many events (especially weddings) have guests from the ages of 2 to 92! The last thing we want to do is offend anyone with inappropriate lyrics. We make sure that all of our music (even today’s popular songs) is edited to please everyone. In fact, that is all we will play unless you request otherwise at a meeting. Furthermore, we use our best judgement when there are younger people in the crowd to make it a fun-filled night for everyone.
Most definitely! — But this is up to you. If you want your guests to request songs, we will take requests. If you want us to honor a specific playlist we will do that too! By taking requests, your guests can get involved in your event and we can have some fun and interact with them as well!
Currently, we serve Chicago’s north, west, and south suburbs. However, we are not opposed to traveling further for events. We must note that if your event is out of our service area, there will be an increase in price for travel costs.
With over 100,000,000 songs in our online databases, we are sure to have the music you want! If we don’t have it, we get it for you at no extra cost. Also, our songs are downloaded at the highest quality possible (and legally) to ensure you and your guests are experience a crisp, clear sound.
