Amazing Music and Professional!
Nick was incredible from the very beginning, he made the planning process feel so smooth and truly understood and embraced the vision we were going for. We also wanted to give a huge thank you to Justin. He did an amazing job on the day of so attentive, kind, and truly a calming presence. We truly had the best time working with Impulse for our wedding! From the start, Nick made us feel so comfortable and excited about our big day. Their planning app was easy to navigate and was incredibly user-friendly. For our wedding, we had Justin as our DJ. Soooo many friends and family members made comments about "how our DJ was great"! Justin read the room and switched out songs that weren't hits on the dance floor and kept us dancing all night long! People were talking about him and the music well into brunch the next day! Hands down the EASIEST and best company to work with. Owner Nick worked with us from start to finish, complete with monthly email checklists, Zoom meetings, and phone calls. The app they use to arrange the music for our wedding was incredibly user friendly and honestly so fun to play around with. Every single idea and vision we had came to life. Our actual DJ for the wedding, Steve, was nothing short of amazing. He kept the dance floor full. Everyone commented on how awesome our music selection was. The day was a total blur for me, but Steve kept me on track and constantly found me to update what was next on the timeline. He was beyond helpful. I can't recommend this company enough!

We had our wedding at Riverside Receptions in Geneva, IL, and working with Impulse was one of the best decisions we made. Justin was our main DJ, with Nick assisting for the ceremony. Our venue required sound in three separate spaces (outdoor ceremony, indoor cocktail hour, and reception), and their setup was flawless. Justin was incredible—professional, organized, and fun. Guests loved the shoe game (which he announced), the couples dance (an Impulse suggestion I’d definitely recommend), and the fantastic playlist. The dance floor was full all night, and we didn’t want the night to end! As a Type A bride, I also appreciated the planning app—they made it easy to visualize the timeline, feel confident about our music choices, and trust everything would run smoothly. We’re so grateful to Justin and the Impulse team. If you want a stress-free, high-energy event with amazing music, book them!
