I have been capturing special moments for over 7 years and I want you to know that as your photographer I won't just simply be the person snapping and capturing your important moments but also someone there to laugh, joke, and smile with during the getting ready process as well as the person who will help pin the boutonnieres on the groomsmen and provide a snack if you're feeling famished, I am your girl! It is my goal to help you feel as comfortable & ready so that I can capture your most natural and candid moments that you will cherish the rest of your life.     The cheerleader we needed!

    Marissa was so amazing to work with! The package we chose included a free engagement shoot, so we were able to establish a relationship before the big day. I'm not used to posing for pictures or very comfortable in front of a camera, but Marissa made everything feel very easy. During the wedding, she shot amazing pictures, and was always on hand to fluff my dress so it fell just right in every shot. Highly recommend her photos!

You'll receive a sneak peek of a few photos within 48 hours of your day (I know you're anxious to 'gram!). For engagements, photos are delivered within 2-3 weeks. Weddings are delivered within 6-8 weeks.
This is up to you, but I totally recommend one for a few reasons! First, my style of photography works best when we've gotten to know each other. an engagement sesh is the perfect time for us to hang out & spend time together before your day! It's also a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera, and practice makes perfect. It's totally natural to feel a little bit nervous/awkward when you're not used to having your photo taken, but your engagement session will make you two pros by the time the wedding rolls around!
You can expect to receive 50-75 final hand-edited images per hour of coverage! after your wedding day, I'll remove any photos you wouldn't want or need (people blinking, blurry, etc) and edit & deliver the rest! don't worry, I won't withhold any images I think you'll want.
Nope! I don't send any un-edited/raw files! Most of the magic happens during the editing process, so without that step your photos are only halfway done! Also RAW images don't reflect my style and ultimately how I represent my business.
While I'm confident in my ability to shoot all of my weddings solo, I recommend second photographers for larger weddings, or when couples are getting ready separately and the timeline doesn't allow me to be with them both. They can provide another perspective to your day and an alternate angle of every situation! We can chat more about this option on a consultation call.
Yes I do! I love to travel and explore locations solo or with my couples to give them the best backdrops for their photos! If you are looking to book a destination wedding or elopement or an adventure session at a National Park, I would love to come along for the journey!
