While attending Colorado State University, Leigh decided to pursue a license in hairstyling through night courses offered at a cosmetology school nearby and quickly fell in love with the industry. Upon graduation with her bachelor’s degree, and a hairstyling apprenticeship under her belt, Leigh moved back to her hometown of Denver to further her education and career in hair. Leigh’s second salon employment is where she met and trained with incredible mentors, providing her the skills, knowledge, and confidence to take her career to the next level.

Brook grew up competing in gymnastics and track which lead to having her hair pulled up and back often. She began to braid her, and her teammates' hair and fell so in love with it that she even ended up doing some hair for others for homecoming and prom. When she realized college wasn't the path for her she decided to attend cosmetology school in 2015. Through her salon career thus far she has seen many sides of the industry and has always found herself the happiest when styling hair just like in her early days.
