Luxury bridal beauty begins long before the wedding morning. I’m Sarah, owner of Studio X Sarah, with 18 years of experience in hair and makeup, including leading and educating 100+ stylists across five salon locations. From my Eden Prairie studio, I offer custom color, cuts, extensions, smoothing treatments, fillers and hairpieces to prepare your hair for a flawless wedding-day style. On location, I specialize in bridal hair, long-wearing airbrush makeup and customized individual lashes for natural, soft-glam, classic or bold looks. I create organized timelines, accommodate wedding parties and offer trials, touch-ups and second looks. Based in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area and available throughout Minnesota and nationwide.
From my studio, I provide full services including; haircuts, color, extensions, fillers, airbrush makeup, lashes, and custom hairpieces, anything to get you ready for your wedding! I specialize in weddings and events; that's where I truly shine, and there are no limits to the locations. My goal is to create a seamless, stress-free, and fun experience that captures your vision and leaves you feeling confident and your best self. △

She was amazing!!
From my first email with Studio x Sarah, I knew they weren't going to waste my time with fluff—they got straight to the point about pricing, timeline, and what they could deliver. On our wedding day, they showed up ready to work and gave us exactly what we asked for without any surprises or drama. What really stood out was how funny they were throughout the process, which helped ease any nerves we had leading up to the big moment. Their work was clean and polished, and they made us feel comfortable while getting us ready. If you want a beauty team that listens, delivers, and keeps things light, Studio x Sarah is your answer. Amazing hair and makeup- chill vibes
Sarah was fantastic to work with. I showed her a picture of the updo I wanted and boom - she matched it. She’s great because she works WITH you- so if you wanted a minor change, or regret telling her you wanted the sparkles on your eyelids, she fixes it immediately. I felt comfortable with her and very calm. Everyone should have someone like Sarah on their big day! She also traveled far for my wedding which I appreciate a ton. I mean check out my hair in the pics below….. she’s so talented!

A Caution for Future Brides
I had a very positive experience with my hair and makeup artist initially. She was very personable, and my mom and I were both very pleased with the results of my trial. Unfortunately, my experience on my wedding day was very different. Communication was difficult at times leading up to the wedding, particularly when trying to get the contract finalized. Since my wedding was outside of the Cities and required an extremely early start time, I had also made arrangements for a hotel stay so she could be there on time. On the morning of my wedding, we arrived at the church for our scheduled start time, and she was nowhere to be found. I called multiple times and did not receive an answer. I became concerned and contacted the hotel, only to find out that she had not checked in. She eventually texted me, but there was no follow-up or effort to find someone who could come in her place. Thankfully, because it was the middle of wedding season and we were in a rural area, my family was able to step in and help with everyone's hair and my makeup. I am incredibly grateful for the people who came together for us, because their support kept this situation from affecting our wedding day. I did not hear from her again until around noon the following day, which felt more like a general check-in than an acknowledgment of what had happened. To this day, I am still not sure why she did not show up or what happened that morning. I have taken some time to reflect before writing this review because I don't want to bash anyone's reputation. However, I do feel future brides deserve to know that situations like this can happen, even when things seem positive during the trial and planning process. For such an important day, having vendors you can trust and rely on is incredibly important. If I were planning a major event again, I would make sure I had a stronger level of confidence and trust in my vendors before booking. My biggest advice to other brides would simply be: trust your gut and have a backup plan, especially when working with vendors traveling to your wedding. I would not book again.

Beautiful!
Sara was awesome to work with. We kept each other in the loop with ideas though out the process. She work with me to keep some of my favorite features highlighted. We came up with a hair style that showed off my long hair and I really wanted my freckles to show and she was able to do that perfectly. I loved that the make up and hair stayed all night. We got married outside the in August and even with the heat my makeup stayed perfect. I didn’t look or feel cakey at all and I still looked like myself. She was able to highlight our features and make me and my friends and the moms look wonderful.
