I worked with Raquel for my elopement which took place in the outside mountains in January. I had challenging requests as I wanted both natural hair and makeup, however our weather forecast called for wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour and the windchill in the 20s. I have rosacea and get severe windburn on my face and nose when it is cold out, however, Raquel applied my full coverage makeup so well that I didn't even realize I had windburn until the makeup was removed. Despite the full coverage it looked completely natural. Despite the high speed winds not a single hair came out of place. Raquel is extremely patient, and kind. She went out of her way to make sure I felt comfortable with the color palette used on my face and the checked in several times during the makeup process before proceeding to make sure I liked the direction we were going. I would work with her again in a heartbeat. Thank you Raquel!

I booked with Raquel mid August for an engagement hair and makeup appointment for my October courthouse wedding. The week before my wedding Raquel had reached out to me saying that the wedding before my appointment had a schedule change and asked if I could push my appointment 3 hours back, this wasn’t going to work for me. This did cause stress and anxiety but Raquel was able to find someone else to do my hair and makeup. I am grateful that she was able to find someone else but I was disappointed I didn’t get to work with Raquel. Even though I know it wasn’t Raquel’s fault it would have been nice to get something, a sorry, well wishes for my wedding, or a thanks for understanding but as soon as I booked with the other stylist I didn’t hear anything else from her.

A hair dream come to life!!! I hired Raquel Chacon to do my updo for a wedding photoshoot my husband and I did in Colorado and I could not of been happier with the outcome! I reside in Ohio so there was no trial which can sometimes be a risk. However, upon review of Raquel's work on her website, I knew she was the right choice. I sent Raquel inspiration pictures and she understood my vision immediately. Great communication leading up to the photoshoot. I appreciated that she told me how to best prepare my hair for styling way in advance and the estimated time that the style would take. Upon photoshoot day, she walked in and got right to work. She was personable and I enjoyed talking to her as she did my hair. I felt every bobby pin and every curl confidently fall in place and I knew I had nothing to worry about. My hair turned out exactly how I wanted and that is the most satisfying feeling as a bride. I can't thank Raquel enough for bringing my vision to life. She is wonderful to work with. I highly recommend her for your special day!

Raquel does AMAZING work. I have had professional make-up done by other artists for my friend’s and family’s weddings and I can truly say that Raquel blew them out of the water and really impressed me! She really listened but also added her own suggestions and input that helped the final look come together flawlessly. I was really worried about what my make-up would look like on my wedding day since I’ve never been happy with professional wedding make-up before. But Raquel’s work was flawless. She made sure I looked perfect and I was so so happy with her work. She is the best
