I’m John, owner of Perfect Harmony Entertainment, a veteran-owned wedding DJ/MC team serving PA, MD, DC, VA, and WV. We believe your wedding should feel organized, personal, and fun—not stressful. My team focuses on three things: 1. A smooth, on-time timeline 2. A packed dance floor for guests of all ages 3. Clear communication from first inquiry to last song. Most couples book us for ceremony + cocktail hour + reception, with typical DJ/MC + basic lighting investments in the mid-$1,500s to low $2,000s, depending on date and location. We’re a team-based, veteran-owned company with built-in backup, a shared planning app, and pro MCs who coordinate with your venue and photographer. For extra impact, you can add our open-air photo booth and full-room uplighting to transform the space and wow your guests.

    Brought Life to the Party!

    We had such an amazing and unforgettable time working with Perfect Harmony. We had the pleasure of working with DJ Sy for our wedding day. Not only was he incredibly responsive and helpful in bringing our vision to life during the planning process, but he brought so much energy and fun to the day itself, from the ceremony to the reception to the end of the night.     Working with Perfect Harmony Entertainment was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. John, the owner, was incredibly easy to communicate with - his responses were always prompt and seamless. On the day of our wedding, he truly showcased his mastery of his craft. The music was perfect, the transitions between ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception were amazingly crafted, and the entire reception was so much fun for our us and our guests. John did an incredible job of bringing our music vision to life and keeping the energy high all night long. His attention to detail and use of the event planning app made the process so easy, it was incredibly detailed & helped fill in blank spots we didn’t even think of originally. Our reception-only Party Essentials package is $1,300. Just Say I Do, our most popular package, is $1,800 and includes up to six hours of ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception coverage. Our All-Out Celebration package is $3,200 and adds uplighting and a photo booth. That gives you clear options depending on how much coverage and how many enhancements you want.
Our most popular option is Just Say I Do. It includes up to six hours of coverage for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, including ceremony sound and a wireless microphone, cocktail-hour music, professional DJ/MC service, dance floor lighting, and our online planning tools for your music, requests, timeline, and special moments. Before the wedding, we’ll review the details with you so everyone is working from the same plan.
There isn’t one playlist that works for every wedding. We start with the music you love, pay attention to what your guests are responding to, and adjust throughout the night. We’ll take requests when they make sense, change direction when the room calls for it, and avoid forcing songs that clearly aren’t working. The goal is a packed dance floor that still feels like your wedding—not a generic DJ playlist.
Every wedding is different. You choose your important songs, tell us what you love, what you don’t want to hear, and how involved you want your DJ to be. We use that direction to build the night around you. We don’t rely on a canned script, mandatory games, or a one-size-fits-all playlist.
Absolutely. Most couples give us a mix of: Must-play songs; songs they like if there’s time; a few “only if requested” tracks; and a “do not play” list. You can give as much or as little direction as you want. Our job is to read the room and keep all ages involved while still making sure the night feels like you.
Yes! Every wedding package includes a professional DJ/MC who: - Makes key announcements (introductions, toasts, special dances, etc.) - Coordinates timing with your venue, photographer, planner, and other vendors - Smoothly guides transitions so there are no awkward pauses - You get one point person who handles both the music and the flow of the reception.
Planning is a huge part of what we do. You’ll get access to our planning app, where you can: Choose songs for key moments and dancing. Create must-play and do-not-play lists; share notes and special announcements. Build your reception timeline. Closer to your date, we’ll have a final review call to go through everything together so that, on the day of, you can relax knowing the plan is covered.
Booking is simple. Once you choose your package, we’ll send you an agreement to review and sign. A 25% retainer reserves your date, and the remaining balance is typically due about two weeks before the wedding. After booking, you’ll receive access to our online planning tools for your music, timeline, and event details. Before the wedding, we’ll review everything with you so your DJ arrives prepared and knows exactly what you have planned.
We believe pricing should be clear before you book. Your agreement will spell out exactly what is included in your package and what you’re paying. If travel, additional hours, or optional upgrades such as uplighting or a photo booth affect the price, we’ll explain that up front. You won’t get to your wedding day and suddenly discover a list of unexpected charges.
Yes. We can bundle an open-air photo booth and full-room uplighting with your DJ/MC package. - Photo booth includes props, backdrop, unlimited sessions, prints, an attendant, and a personalized print template. - Uplighting helps transform the room and can be set to match your wedding colors. If you’re interested, let us know which add-ons you’re considering, and we’ll include them in your options so you can see the total investment.
We’re a team, not a one-person operation, so we have backup plans in place if something unexpected happens. Our DJs work from the same planning system and have access to your event details, music, and timeline. We also bring backup equipment to our events. Reliability and preparation are a big part of how we operate, so our goal is to make sure your wedding is covered even when the unexpected happens.
We regularly serve venues across PA, MD, DC, VA, and WV: barns, vineyards, manors, ballrooms, and everything in between. Travel is included for many locations we work in often. For anything farther out, we’ll let you know up front if there’s a travel fee so there are no surprises.
