I am Andy Yorke aka DJ Hpnotiq, President of Imani Entertainment DJ, Karaoke, and Photobooth Service and I would love to provide DJ entertainment for your wedding or event. I have had a twenty-one year professional career in radio, sixteen of which as an on air personality with WHUR, WOL, WJZE, WGAY, WKYS. As a club/mobile DJ, I have provided DJ entertainment for numerous Weddings, Corporate Events, School Events, Sweet Sixteens, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Quinceaneras, Showers (Baby and Bridal), Fashion Shows, Store Openings, and Private Parties. I have performed at several clubs. bars, and event venues in DC, MD, VA, DE, and PA.

We specialize in, Top 40, Hip Hop, House, R & B, Reggae, Soca, Afrobeat, Old School, Go Go, 80’s, 90's, Line Dance, Country, Classic Rock, Modern Rock, Trance, Techno, Motown, Smooth Jazz, Neo Soul, Hand Dance, Soca, Latin, and we also provide Karaoke with over 45,000 song titles. We provide DJ Services, Karaoke Services, Photobooth Services, Lighting, Virtual Events, Voiceover, and Sound Services. We have state of the art equipment, and our DJ’s can custom tailor music selections for any event or venue.

    Amazing DJ!!

    Let me just preface with this… I’ve been to many weddings and events in my lifetime and this event by far was the most wholesome, energetic, and entertaining one that I have been to thus far. I think the DJ’s name was Andy and he was amazing! The music, the Photo Booth, the energy … EVERYTHING! I will be referring him to my friends and relatives for their DJ/entertainment needs. Excellent work!

    Not for younger couples

    Our experience with Imani Entertainment DJ, Karaoke, & Photobooth Service was disappointing overall. The communication felt disconnected from the start—we sent a detailed playlist and list of must-play songs, but he didn't follow either one and seemed unaware of the changes we'd made. During the ceremony, the microphones weren't working well and there simply weren't enough of them, which made things rough even though our guests didn't seem to notice. The energy at the reception wasn't what we hoped for either; we would have benefited from a dedicated MC, but he claimed to handle that himself. While he did offer partial compensation afterward, he still hasn't paid us back. If you're a young couple looking to keep the party going all night, I'd suggest looking elsewhere for your DJ.

    Wedding

    I don't know where to start...Andy Yorke/Imani Entertainment DJ Services was nothing short of Amazing!!!! He was very professional, accommodating to my very demanding family who can be a little bit extra at times, his database of music is extraordinary!! He even helped set up tables for us. I will be forever indebted to him for such a memorable experience for my sister's wedding. He will definitely be my family's forever DJ!!!! Thanks, Andy for such a wonderful experience!!

    Excellent Service

    Imani Entertainment DJ, Karaoke, & Photobooth Service was the perfect choice for our wedding reception. From our first interaction, their team was engaging, receptive, and deeply understanding of our vision for the event. Throughout the planning process, they were highly professional, timely in their responses, and truly excited to bring our celebration to life. On the day of, their DJ kept the music going and the floor packed all night. The photobooth was a huge hit, providing endless entertainment and capturing so many fun memories. We couldn't have asked for a better team to work with - they truly made our special day feel even more magical.
