She works with the best musicians in the DC area to form small ensembles for weddings. SERVICES OFFERED: Wedding Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Reception music. ENSEMBLES: Cello Solo, Duo (cello/violin or cello/guitar), Trio (cello/violin/viola), String Quartet (2 violins, viola, cello). Custom ensembles are available upon request

    The best decision!

    My husband and I first discovered Lolo through her YouTube channel and were immediately blown away by her talent. Even though our wedding wasn’t in the DC area, we knew we had to reach out—and we were so thrilled when she agreed to travel to Connecticut! Leading up to the big day, Lolo was incredibly responsive, professional, and helpful. Our guests haven't stopped talking about how beautiful the music was and how kind both Lolo and Emera were. We feel so lucky to have had such world-class musicians as part of our wedding, and Lolo is someone we truly hope to keep in touch with!

    AMAZING Live Music

    If you're looking to hire a live cellist and guitarist for your wedding, look no further! Lolo Loves Cello was outstanding and I had so many compliments from our Wedding guests! Lourdes was extremely communicative, understanding, and flexible throughout the entire planning process. She helped us choose the perfect music selections and walked us through the timing of everything, ensuring our ceremony and cocktail hour flowed seamlessly. On the day of the wedding, Lourdes was prompt, professional, and her beautiful cello playing made our special day even more perfect. I always wear a wedding-appropriate a long gown. I have over a dozen in different styles and colors. I work with couples to coordinate my outfit with their theme. The look is always formal, classy, and elegant.
Yes! We can play anything on our string instruments-- from classical, to pop, to religious. If a couple requests a super obscure song (like an unpublished song that a family member wrote), we can work with a composer to get it arranged.
I'm happy to learn new songs. I do it all the time!
Yes! I'm fully insured and also include the venue as an additional insured party, for no extra fee.

I have been playing the cello since I was 7, studied with some of the best cello teachers in the country, and have performed at Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, for celebrities, and at numerous embassies. Yes. I specialize in music for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and dinner receptions (not the dance party-- most couples hire a DJ or band for that part).
