Like many in the industry, I fell in love with planning weddings when I started planning my own in 2017. At the time, I was a corporate lawyer at a big firm in DC and it just hit me: I was totally in the wrong field! Since then, I have dedicated all of my free time to arranging my own events, helping my friends plan their own, and dreaming of the day that I could provide the same service for others.
My approach is simple: hear, help, and handle. I am here for YOU, to make sure you are getting all you want and need on your momentous day, with as little stress as possible. Best Decision for Our Day
There are not enough words to describe how amazing Carmen and her team are! I booked the Wedding Management package with Evermore Occasions and it was the best decision for my wedding day. Carmen helped to keep me organized throughout the planning process by providing multiple resources and regularly checking in on our progress. Having her to handle all vendor communication in the month before the wedding reduced stress and allowed us to focus on family and friends that were traveling to help us celebrate. I never doubted that my wedding day would run smoothly with Carmen in charge and she exceeded every expectation. Everyone in my family commented on how helpful she was throughout the day, always being there when we needed her while also seamlessly blending into the crowd. I cannot recommend Carmen enough to anyone starting the wedding planning process!

Carmen is not just a wedding planner- she is a friend who will listen to your thoughts, a sounding board who will troubleshoot with you (or lets be honest- she’ll troubleshoot for you), and an expert who will make the best day of your life a reality. From the second I read Evermore Occasions’ website and then booked our first call with Carmen, I knew we were in good hands. We were so incredibly lucky to work with Evermore Occasions, specifically Carmen and Jennifer, for our entire wedding planning process. From prompting questionnaires to understand our vision, sourcing vendors tailored to our vibe and goals, contracting and negotiating to get us exactly what we needed, quietly solving problems when they arose, executing on the day of, and (quite literally) holding my dress before walking down the aisle, Carmen absolutely nailed every single aspect of our wedding day. Coming from a type-a, often overwhelmed, and detail oriented bride, Carmen is the perfect partner to bring assurance, calm, reason, logic, and warmth to your wedding. I often don’t feel like I can delegate important details to others, but that is not true when it comes to Carmen. She knew exactly what I needed before I even knew I needed it and asked the questions I hadn’t even thought of yet. Carmen and the entire Evermore Occasions team are a force, a new standard, and truly the people you need on your biggest day. A “thank you” doesn’t do it justice. We are so appreciative of Evermore Occasions and thank you, especially, to Carmen! Our wedding weekend was that much more memorable because of you!

Best Wedding coordinator in the DMV!
Carmen and the Evermore Team were truly the best decision I made during my wedding planning process. If you’re a Type A bride who values each little part of the wedding, Carmen is your perfect match! Her expertise and calm demeanor made the entire process seamless. On our wedding day, her team went above and beyond. Haley ensured we were happy, hydrated, and stress-free. Evermore Occasions takes on your event thoughtfully and is in the weeds of every detail with you. I cannot say enough good things about Evermore Occasions.

The best wedding planning team
The short version: My wife and I were just blown away working with Carmen and her team (Jennifer, Sammy, Sharon, Geraldine) – they were professional, supportive, communicative, and helped us plan (and execute!) our special day even better than we could have ever imagined it. We went with the Full Planning package, and honestly will 100% go with the same choice again and again. If you want a worry-free experience planning your big day so that you can focus on the things that make the day so special (and not the many planning things that could potentially get overwhelming at times), Carmen and her team are the way to go. The long version: When my wife and I first got engaged, the thought of planning a wedding was kind of overwhelming. We both had extremely busy jobs, we were on the road all the time, and neither of us knew what planning a U.S. wedding even entailed. We knew we needed help, and even the initial planner interviewing process was very overwhelming. However, as soon as we spoke with Carmen we knew we needed to hire her. She made us feel super comfortable from the initial interview, and it couldn’t have been more clear what her services were. To date I’m still impressed by how clear the proposal was detailing out the differences across the packages (leaps and bounds above what we got from other planners) – and this level of professionalism, clarity, and attention to details only got even better over our time working with Carmen. The months over which we were planning the wedding went by quickly, and I don’t think Carmen and Jennifer could have made things any easier. Every step of the way they held our hands, checking in on progress and giving us an idea of the big milestones to come. Carmen had the perfect balance of giving us her professional recommendations (which were fantastic, we loved all the vendors she recommended / screened) while also letting us make our decision if we didn’t 100% agree with her. It was clear that she was helping us plan OUR day. We especially loved the design phase as it’s clear that Carmen puts a lot of thought into every little detail and somehow managed to put on paper things we struggled to articulate well ourselves. Given my wife’s and my busy schedule, Carmen was the exact partner we needed to get through this process in a way that we can enjoy it as opposed to being overwhelmed. Come wedding day, Carmen and her team (Sammy, Sharon, Geraldine) were a DREAM. I’m personally extremely process oriented and type A, but I was able to put my phone away and not worry about the schedule one bit because I knew the Evermore team had it all under control (and they did!). Our entire wedding party to date would still talk about how impressed they were with Carmen making sure the right people and the right things were in the right places at the right time. My wife and I were able to just focus on us and the moments on the day that made things magical without having to worry one bit about the logistics. The design of the whole thing came together so well and we were left speechless when we first saw the reception setup shortly after the ceremony. It was such a beautiful day thanks to all of the hard work put in by the Evermore team. All this is to say that we LOVED working with Carmen and her team. My wife and I are the biggest fans and would recommend them to anyone looking to plan their special day!

The best planner and designer ever!!!
There are truly not enough words to express how grateful my family and I are for Carmen! From the moment we hired her, she exceeded every possible expectation, both as a wedding coordinator and as a design planner. Carmen’s coordination process is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced! She immediately set us up in her planning portal, which became our organizational lifeline. It included everything: a customizable wedding reception layout, a suggested checklist with realistic timelines, a thorough budgeting sheet, a secure place to upload all our contracts so nothing ever got misplaced, etc. She had clearly thought through everything a couple could possibly need. I was able to contact her anytime with questions, and she always responded quickly with detailed information/suggestions. Unlike most coordinators who come in just a month before the wedding, Carmen started taking the reins three months out. We had five scheduled Zoom check-ins beginning at that time (and she welcomed additional calls anytime we needed them). About two months out, she fully took over communication with all vendors (with myself copied on everything so I could still stay informed, while removing the stress of being the primary contact) to make sure we had all the information we could possibly need for each vendor team, each with their own specific requirements. In those last months she became our steady guide, contract expert, and voice of reason. And on the wedding day, she provided full-service management that made everything run flawlessly. The design process with Carmen was equally extraordinary. At the very beginning, she created multiple design boards, all with their own aesthetic directions, to help us explore and clarify our overall style. Once we chose our style, she created the most in-depth design presentation ever, with ceremony visuals, reception tablescapes, floral concepts, décor ideas, etc. She even provided multiple pricing breakdowns based on which elements we wanted to include, which made it so easy for us to make decisions confidently and with full transparency, while protecting the vision we wanted. Everything she created felt thoughtful, personal, and aligned with our vision. Carmen is one in a million. She is kind, quick to act, impressively organized, calm, and truly the definition of the right-hand person every bride dreams of having during one of the most chaotic seasons of life. On wedding day, I felt genuinely calm! Everyone couldn’t believe how relaxed I seemed. My ease was 100% because of Carmen. She prepared all of us (because it takes a village!) for that moment. We walked through every detail and every minute of the day multiple times ahead of time. There were no unspoken decisions, no surprises, no last-minute scrambles (and if there were any, I still don’t know of them which further shows how amazing she is at her job). I trusted her completely, knowing she always acted with my best interests in heart and mind. Because of this, we had the calmest morning, and most joyful evening with all of our loved ones! Now that the wedding is over, I miss talking to Carmen! She became such an important part of this journey, and I genuinely can’t imagine having gone through this process with anyone else. If I could do it all over again, I would do it exactly the same way, with her by my side. If you are looking for a coordinator and designer who is organized, creative, and truly invested in your day, there is no one better than Carmen!
